Poorly run resort.

Rooms are poorly maintained with many faults. The first room we were given, a Gold Room, was totally unacceptable. The glass in the patio door leading to the balcony did not fit. I could get my hand between the door jamb and the glazing unit. The bathroom door did not close due to damage to the frame. The rodding point for the toilet was not secured and had ‘something nasty’ on the floor surrounding it. The room was generally dirty. On the second day we were moved to another room ,also a Gold Room, which was much better but still not very clean. The coffee table was dirty and there were dirty marks on the lounge wall. The glass lamp shades were full of dust and there were finger prints where they had been removed, presumably to replace the bulb, but not cleaned before being replaced. We then discovered that the air conditioning did not work in the bedroom. After we complained they installed a portable unit that was so noisy that we could not sleep with it on. A further complaint led to them replacing it with a slightly less noisy unit. During our stay there was no attempt to repair the air conditioning. Management were like ghosts as we never saw one during our stay. On the positive side the swimming pools were great, there were plenty of sun beds and the roof bar was excellent if a bit expensive. We will not be returning.

AVOID if you want any kind of Customer Service

This resort is a building site and we looked directly onto it, with constant noise all day everyday. No privacy on out sun terrace, builders are a couple of metres away from us. We had emailed the resort twice prior to going to ask about building works, but they chose to ignore it and only answer the other questions we asked. We had a bad leak in our bedroom the whole time we were there and were told to put a bucket under it and towels down. Staff said several rooms have leaks from the aircon units. The tiled floor below was dangerously slippy when wet. Please see our pictures of how close the building works were to our room and the leak! We have videos of the noise we had to listen to all day. STAFF do not care if you have a problem. We are very well travelled and have never seen such poor customer service. There is far better accommodation in the area.

EXCELLENT! ALREADY BOOKED AGAIN FOR NEXT YEAR! ❤️

Absolutely loved this place. Never normally would book the same hotel twice but we have come back and already booked it again for next year! We stopped for 11 nights, all inclusive (28 Aug - 9 Sept). We booked this for our Silver Wedding anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. Stayed in a one bedroom apartment with its own private roof terrace (which was amazing) overlooking the pool. From the roof terrace we had views of the sea, pool, harbour and the mountains! The spacious kitchen/dining area was well equipped with everything you needed. We didn’t use the oven but it was great to have a fridge, kettle, toaster & microwave as all the all inclusive hotels we’ve stayed at in the past didn’t even have a fridge! There was also an ironing board, iron and hairdryer. Although we didn’t have all our meals at the hotel as we like to eat out or grab a takeaway after a night’s drinking, we couldn’t fault the food. We used the bar by the pool pretty much every afternoon. The drinks were great and served in proper pint glasses that were frozen. All of the staff at this bar were absolutely lovely - always quick to serve you and genuinely seemed happy to be working there. This can be said for all of the staff that we spoke to whilst we were there. The guys on reception were really nice and always very helpful. We used the Skybar at the hotel a few times and although this is not part of the all inclusive package, it is well worth having a wander up there in the evening as the sunset views over the sea were stunning. There were never many people using this bar but I do think that it is because it’s not very well advertised. A lot of people we spoke to didn’t even know about it. We used the beach club a few times which is part of the all inc. You can just go down there for a drink and you don’t need to book for this. If you want a meal or a sunbed there then you need to go to reception and book the day before you go. Would have preferred it if they played a bit of music there - but they didn’t play any the times we went which was a shame. We had a fantastic holiday at the Los Olivos and loved every minute of it. Counting the days down until we return!

We had a 2 bedroomed apartment, wow, everything you needed was in there, we were AL so didnt need to cook but even a dishwasher in the kitchen area, we had roof top terrace with sunloungers, doublelounger down stairs, spiral staircase. No sunbed wars, was able to get a sunbed any time of day. Food was ok, would have liked more choice but only ate out 1 tea time, was our anniversary! would recommend

Amazing hotel

Amazing location right on beach front. Hotel food didn’t blow me out the water. Fine but not much choice compared to other hotels I’ve been to. Try Winchester for good pub grub or Loch Ness, so cheap to eat out. Food at beach club top class. Included in All Inclusive. Hotel do BBQ for 24Eur on a Friday but not worth the price. No live music as advertised. Food was ok but nothing fancy. Hotel room lovely. Air conditioning fab. Did not cook but we had fridge, freezer, cooker and microwave. Nice surprise when saw roof terrace. Nice pool with loads of beds. Pool bar lovely. Would recommend but eat out.
