Lovely week at Ekati Mare

Just returned from a week at Ekati Mare and had a lovely holiday. The pool area of the hotel is beautiful. Decorated really nicely, always super clean and the sun loungers were so comfortable. The food was good - you get plenty of it even if you’re staying half board. The day menu that can be ordered at any time also served really good food for lunch and snacks etc. Drinks were good too. I have to give a special mention to Dina and Julia - they were incredible. Super helpful, always smiling and taking extra good care of you so thank you both so much. Only minor improvements would be that often in a morning there were no towels ready so we had to wait and the hotel is split over several buildings, some of which are down a road opposite. Not a huge deal and the buildings are still lovely but it does mean having to walk to and from the different buildings during the day. Overall, a wonderful holiday and a lovely hotel with great staff ☺️

our stay at Ekati Mare

I've been at Ekati Mare at the end of May and this place is pretty nice. The pool and the outfood lounge area are amazing! Pretty nicely decorated! However, what I did not expect is the building where we were accommodated. There is the main hotel with the whole area beautifully arranged, with the restaurant and the pool and somewhere across the road, in an alley, there is another building, totally different in design from the main one. But yeah... the room was ok and we were closer to the sea.

Very Disappointing

Disappointed with this hotel to say it is supposed to be 4 star. Our room was spacious and tidy but the balcony was a massive disappointment, it was very tiny and the only view we had was of a building next door. The drain in the shower room was disgustingly smelly and made me physically sick. I reported it to reception but within a few hours of them cleaning it it smelt again. Breakfast was a let down, whilst there was plenty of choice everything was flat cold, plates, cups and cutlery were not all clean, I picked up 4 cups before finding a clean one. The orange juice started off lovely at the beginning of the holiday but got weaker and weaker as the week went on to the point it was just coloured water. We ate lunch on 3 separate occasions, which was nice (salads) however after having one glass of white wine they run out each time, not good enough when your on holiday wanting to chill out and enjoy your meal. There was only 1 product available on draught, again doesn’t make for an enjoyable holiday when there’s nothing else on offer and you’re not even allowed to consume your own drinks onsite. I would not return to this hotel. Nearby is a fantastic Greek restaurant called Real Greek, we ate here many times and thoroughly enjoyed the food, entertainment and endless carafes of wine. The owner and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Tex Mex restaurant had a nice atmosphere but the food was bland. The Village restaurant was also very good and worth a visit.

BEST PLACE FOR YOUR SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!

Best hotel with the best people and amenities. All rooms and public areas are fully refurbished and give you a fresh feel. Big sized rooms and the most friendly staff. Breakfast has everything you can expect and all day menu is also very tasty and reasonably priced. We spent most of our days around the pool.

Wow, what a place and fantastic holidays we had in here. the staff are really the best you can find, so friendly and helpful, they made our holidays. great breakfast to start of your day and a big sized swimming pool to spend it. Make sure to try the cocktails and the dinner menu. We will surely be back.
