Best hotel of my Vietnam vacation

I enjoyed a three week touring along the coast from Nha Trang to Ho chi Mihn and came across the Pearl on the beach while in Muine. Originally planned on a three day stop to enjoy the sandy beach, bars and restaurants of the town. I was really taken by this hotel direct on the sandy beach. It has wonderful gardens with water features, full of gold n carp and catfish as you walk to your room. Lovely open restaurant overlooking the swim pool, the well presented gardens and out to the sea. Also every Friday the hotel puts on a romantic evening meal around the pool with music and dancing, a night to remember. Room was large with balcony to gardens, more pleasant views Hotel reception staff could not be more friendly and helpful with information on anything I requested, tours to go on, places to eat out with hotel and arranging transport to next destination. My planned three day stay in the Oriental Pearl was extended by a further four days all because of the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel, the breakfast and dinners at the hotel, but most of all the attitude of the reception staff who go beyond what you become to expect for standard hotel.

The Good - Hotel reception services is good (upon check in insisted to send you to room, and upon check out called the busline to pick you up straight from hotel) - Room is clean and big - Complimentary in room fruits - Variety of breakfast choices - Relaxing beach to chill just inside the resort The Weak - Room aircond not functioning well (very warm during night time) - Location is abit far off from the others *Nothing much can be do at MuiNi night time so the seafood right opposite is good enough for a dinner.

Charming place

This is a lovely hotel. The reception area is surrounded by beautiful lush gardens. The staff are friendly and helpful some struggled with English but we appreciated the efforts. Regardless of who we dealt with we were able to communicate effectively. We especially liked the lady at the poolside bar who was extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room was modern and clean, likewise the linen and towels. The breakfast was superb with an assortment of local and western food. The coffee machine was a welcomed feature for our daily dose of morning espresso and cappuccinos. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. The beach is clean as is the lounging area. There are several stores across the road and it is a short walk to the food court. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it.

It's ok

Stayed here for 7 days. Apartments facing street side are very noisy, we have not received beach towels. Rooms are clean, very noisy air conditioning. Territory is well planted with all kind of trees and bushes, beach is clean although you get occasional trash floating in water. Breakfast is just average, you basically get almost same stuff every morning, but if you are bacon, eggs, bread, toast, coffee lover, you will be fine. I have seen much better breakfasts in 4* hotels. Don't think i would come here again or would recommend to anyone.

Waisting your time and money

We stayed here 2 nights and 1 day. We had to choose between 18 or 35 degrees in the room the first night, next day We spend from 8am to 2pm waiting for technicians to fix the aircondition, which theycould not. We got a new room. The manager offered a free night the second night, but DID NOT refund. This is a place where customers is treated like cows!
