Rauhallinen hotelli vehreän puutarhan ympäröimänä. Muutaman minuutin kävelyn päässä Port De Sollerin hiekkarannalta. Runsas ja laadukas aamiainen, miellyttävä henkilökunta. Mukava spa jossa suomalainen sauna.
6 yötä tässä hotellissa ja voin suositella tätä kaikille port de sollerin matkailijoille. Hyvä aamiainen, palvelu, huone. Kaikki toimi loistavasti. Yleiset tilat olivat mahtavat. Pysäköinti oli ilmaista. Lyhyt matka keskustaan.

Great Property, But
PROS • Perfect location. Only two minutes from the port, but recessed back from the action by a few blocks • An abundance of hiking trails nearby • Literally a one-minute walk from the COVID testing facility • Attractive pool area for lounging. (There were plenty of beds available) • Front desk staff arranged a taxi for me and printed my documents • I requested the tower, and although I booked through a second-party website, they honored my request • Very good food on the breakfast buffet (try the bread) • Amazing dinner at Le Figueroa, at a very reasonable price • Efficient restaurant staff • Plenty of outside dining options • Lots of different areas for lounging around and relaxing comfortably • Covid-compliant. Tables were distanced, sanitizer was available, people wore masks • My room came with a deck and windows that opened, so there was cross ventilation • The mansion is charming. There’s an old chapel, and they’ve displayed old tools, texts, letters, vestments, paintings, etc. CONS • As many have mentioned, the bed was hard and the pillows are just thin pieces of foam. I slept poorly four out of four nights • Internet isn’t available in all rooms • When my taxi didn't arrive, the front desk agent reacted defensively
Quaint and Enchanting Location
We stayed in a junior suite (room 503) for 7 nights from 30/8/2021. The hotel is split up into various areas providing different levels of accommodation. We upgraded to a junior suite which was on the top floor overlooking the tennis courts, gardens and woodland with a side view of the sea/harbour. The room was roomy and well appointed with a king size bed (firm but suited us) and a large bathroom with ‘Jack & Jill’ sink, bath and lovely shower. There was a large sunny balcony with a table and two sun loungers. The air conditioner worked perfectly. On half board we elected to go for the early sitting of the three available. This meant from 8am for breakfast and 7pm for evening dinner. Most diners wanted a table on the terrace but this wasn’t always possible during the busy periods especially the middle sitting. Generally this went smoothly and was accepted due to COVID precautions. Like the wearing of masks when moving around the premises. The main building is very quaint with different nooks and crannies with candles lighting the way with places to sit and relax to read a book or have a drink. Two evenings there was entertainment in the form of a guitarist. First night was more tradition music and the second more modern music including rock n’ roll. Very good. We didn’t sit around the pool very much due to having such a wonderful balcony so can not comment on the towel/sun lounger saga. Location of hotel was perfect for the beach/town and harbour. Restaurants and bars just a stones throw away. Close to the ‘Noddy’ train that runs from Port de Soller to Soller village you can easily get a train connection from Soller to Palma. There was only one or two downsides to our experience which I would mention. Food. The menu had a choice of 5 mains each day which didn’t appeal to us and on one occasion the steak, which looked more like pork was not cooked properly. I know we should have complained but there you are. Generally the quality of the food was excellent but as I’ve said not to our taste. Lastly I would wholly recommend this hotel and suggest you give it a try. The staff are delightful, friendly and hard working. Thank you.
