Fein in günstiger Lage.

Trotz der Größe der Anlage sind die einzelnen Apartments sehr ruhig. Der hauseigene Strand kann zum schwimmen genutzt werden und man kann sich wieder in die private Umgebung zum relaxen begeben. Sonnenschirm und Liege (als Symbol für einen Urlaub in der trostlosen Masse) kann man getrost vergessen. Der Eigentümer und seine Familie sind äußerst hilfsbereit und nett. Eine beeindruckende Anlage für einen kleinen Familiebetrieb. Von hier aus kann man auch zu den Stränden Lethra Beach (1 Stunde) und Kokkini Beach wandern. Mittagshitze meiden!!! Die Strand-Bar bietet herrliche kleine Speisen. Ansonst wird darauf geachtet, daß auch die kleinen Betriebe (Restaurants, Bäckerei, Mietwagen etc.) rund ums Hotel ein Stück vom Touristen-Kuchen abbekommen. Auch ohne Mietwagen kann man es dort ein paar Tage aushalten. Bei Bedarf mietet man sich einen Scooter.

Skadedyr

Bra hotell men de har et skadedyrproblem. Mus eller rotter på balkongen , dette var helt vanlig i følge hotellledelsen og Apollo... Mye trapper og ingen hjelp med bagasje. fin privat strand og fin beliggenhet. Mangler dørhåndtak utvendig på balkongdør.

Everything you could want on a Greek Island trip.

Everything you could want on a peaceful Greek island. The rooms are simple, the bed so comfortable and the air conditioning is great. The location and the views fantastic. It’s a 5 minute walk into the “town” with great sea front restaurants. The sunbeds are laid out next to the sea. On this trip we’ve stayed in 5 star luxury but we agreed that the Illidi Rock was our favourite. It has an unforgettable charm of its own. The staff are just so friendly particularly Maria in the snack bar. We were sorry to leave.

Amazing sunrise

Nice Hotel, we had the Suite, there was an amazing view with sunrise and all over Livadia. We had a very big terrace, but it was not clean and the sun bed was very dirty. And there was so many mosquitoes outside and inside, so keep the light turn off and the doors closed. Anyway we had two very nice days there.

I've stayed on many islands and in many hotels in Greece - this is one of my absolute favorites!

Ilidi Rock is the place to stay on the beautiful island of Tilos. The hotel is perfectly placed, right by the seafront. Hotel rooms were spacy, with a very comfortable large bed, a kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities, well-functioning AC (charged extra) and a small safe (free of charge). The terraces all have a beautiful sea view. As the hotel is placed on a slope, it has numerous stairs (challenging for small children and not suited for disabled people), leading all the way down to the best place to go swimming in Livadia. Plenty of sunbeds, free for guests and nowhere else did I see better swimming conditions in the crystal clear waters with lots of colorful fish (bring your goggles or mask). A small pedestrian path takes you right to the centre of the town in 2-3 minutes, where you will find small grocery stores (no supermarkets). But 6-packs of water bottles can be purchased at the hotel at regular prices, so that significantly reduces the burden of shopping. Hotel management and staff were so lovely, superfriendly, efficient and helpful, and always available. Do go out to eat, the town has several restaurants with nice food. Ilidi Rock is the perfect starting point to go for a 45 min walk along the mountainside path to a beach with hardly any or no people at all. At least spend one day renting a car to see the peacock beach, elephant cave and museum, the old town (Micro Chorio) and the inhabited inland town Megalo Chorio. The only drawback with spending your holiday on Tilos is the travel from Rhodos airport to Tilos. The two hour boat ride is comfortable (when the sea is quiet), but boats do not pass over to the island very often, so be prepared to wait a few hours. Therefore, next time I go (and I will go back), I will stay a minimum of 2 weeks. Not a place for night clubs and partying, but definitely a place to relax, swim, eat and enjoy the peace of this wonderful place.
