Aivan ihana henkilökunta

Henkilökunta on uskomattoman ystävällisiä ja avuliaita (etenkin respan Nek!) ja hotelli on rauhallinen. Huoneisto siivotaan joka toinen päivä ja siisteys on tarkkaa ja puhtaudesta selkeästi pidetään huoli, joka meille on tärkeää.. Altaalla on useimmiten aina tilaa, allas kylläkin menee kiinni aikaisin, jo kello 19.30. Allas-alueelta ja hotellin katolta näkee taivaallisen auringonlaskun. Bussi nro 20 kulkee keskustaan puolen tunnin välein, ja maksaa 1,60€ Rethymnonin keskustaan, jossa on vilkasta elämää sekä shoppailumahdollisuuksia. Hotellin omistajien koira Luna on ihana piristys jokaiseen pöivään! Tulemme koska tahansa uudelleen tähän hotelliin, siisteyden, Lunan sekä hotellin työntekijöiden vuoksi!

Welcoming visit

We've just had a lovely stay here. The apartments are basic, but had everything we needed. There was a great mix of nationalities, families and couples. We still managed to have the pool to ourselves a lot of the time. It was a short walk to the beach and supermarket, although the way back felt longer as the hill was quite steep. The staff were lovely, we were always met with a smile and they were always very helpful, especially with ordering takeaways or making a lovely strong coffee in the morning.

Up a hill and off the beaten track but ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday

Sunrise is situated up a slight hill in Sfakaki but don't let this put you off. Sfakaki itself is a very small resort and with these apartments being slightly off the beaten track it makes for a quiet and relaxing stay. You can see the sea from the rooms and it takes less than 10 mins to walk to the beach and nearest supermarket. The rooms are spacious and the balcony big. Our room was overlooking the pool and the sea. Usual amenities (fridge,kettle, TV and small oven). Had to pay an extra 5 euros a night for the air con but this was needed at the time. Reception and bar area offers a lot of different drinks including cocktails. Not a massive food menu but the owners happily order in gyros for you which arrives promptly via motorbike. The owners are really helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Pool area is clean and tidy and on some days we had the whole pool to ourselves which was a bonus. There's also a really cute kitten.

Great holiday home

We were a group of friends with children staying at Sunrise Apartments. The hotel is not super modern but it has everything you need for your holiday stay. The location in Sfakaki is great with only 5 minutes walk to the beach, a good supermarket and a few restaurants. All the rooms have sea view and you can catch a beautiful sunrise and sunset from the balcony. The best part is Niko and his team!

Customers treated with rudeness and without any humanity!!

The holyday in Crete has been unlucky for me and my girlfriend beacuse i spent almost 3 days in the hospital at Chania City for unexpeted health problems. When i finished my treatment period, we go back in Sunset Apartments and from this point our holyday becames a nightmare .We asked for some drinking water (we had finished and for health condition I need water) but the girl responsible for reception didn't help us because of closing time. The next day I PAYED to extend my checkout period for few hours because of my weakness after hospitalization (i need to stay at bed and drink water to feeling better) but it was USELESS: the responsible girl kicked us (because she realized that the room was booked after us) with RUDENESS and WITHOUT ANY HUMANITY . I had never happened to me before!!! I have no words for this inhumanity!! Absolutely Not recommended
