Just returned from a weeks holiday in Los Olivos. We booked a one bedroom appartment in the newly refurbished Los Olivos. On arrival we were told we had been “upgraded “ to the 4 star Lagos de Fanabe resort. This is most definitely not 4 star. The appartment is very dated, shabby and in need of refurbishment. There was no air conditioning, just one ceiling fan in the lounge. The drawers in the bedroom were painted shut and there was no provision of tea towels. I requested that we were moved to the Los Olivos appartments we had booked , I was shown a small studio situated on the main road . We visit Costa Adeje regularly and chose the appartment for the location, however we were extremely disappointed that the accommodation we were given bore no resemblance to the appartment we were given.

Lovely reception/pool/surroundings but truly awful accommodation. Basement apartment (1099) absolutely stinks of damp/rancid. we have 2 young children no bed made up for them (see picture when we asked for sofa bed to be made ...) Most disgusting smell, damp sheets. Dirty towels hung back up when we clearly left them in the bath to be changed. Phone not working...probably so we couldn't call reception to ask for clean towels etc. Splashes on walls horrible bathroom so dirty looking. Every time we went to reception there were people complaining asking to change rooms...we were given the option to move to exact same room but with air con at additional 15euro pn.no thanks! We were also shown a junior suite for extra 35pn...sorry but not sure whose standards its a junior suite by as it was still disgusting. So basic, even 20 years ago! Swimming pools absolutely freezing, kids pool far too cold for small children. Just hated the apartment, it made me itch BUT it is in a fab location and we really only were in it to sleep. Staff not interested either i get the impression that complaints are very normal here...if you must stay here, make sure you get a high floor as ground floor stinks! Oh and theres only about 5 mins hot water so shower fast! Luckily we have friends around the corner who let us use their facilities for the kids! I can not believe they are still trying to sell timeshare (vacay club) here either. Hahah!!! The show room must be an absolute, 100%, placebo. Well of course it is. they always are and i should know🤣
We stayed in room 2024 which is just above the main reception. We were self-catering but were surprised that all that was provided was 2 small bars of soap no sachets of shampoo or shower gel etc. The room was lovely and a good size. The sun comes on to the large terrace in the afternoon. Everywhere is very clean and can recommend La Tosca restaurant where you get 15% discount. We had looked on the website and took an iron but an iron and ironing board are provided. Concierge came to ask our opinion and I asked her to leave a form and we would complete it but she said we needed to speak to her in person. She came back the next day and it basically seemed to be a form of time share she was promoting.

Recently stayed for eight nights with my wife at this resort and was really pleased with all aspects of our stay.Studio apartment on ground floor was clean and tidy great shower,limited view but who spends time in their room on holiday,plenty of great views in adeje,room was cleaned regularly and towels changed every other day.Breakfast was good with plenty of options hot meats and eggs,cereals,fresh fruit and breads even something sparkling if you can face it for breakfast.Didnt spend any time at the pools or pool bars but they looked pretty relaxed with people enjoying the sun.We ate at the resort's Italian restaurant La Tosca great food and wine and really good value and service.We must mention the receptionist I can't remember her name she's on every day anyway we had return flight problems and needed an extra nights stay at very short notice she dealt with everything in the most pleasant and professional manner(even when it looked like we would have to move hotel on our last night),she sorted everything out with a minimum of fuss.We were beside reception and witnessed the amount of hard work all receptionists had to do.Ive never appreciated how difficult a job it is I mean literally 24/7.All in all a great stay.,Thanks everyone.
got approached by a lady with scratch cards said i’d won star price spend 90 minutes in hotel looking around which we were happy to do, we was looking for a new place to stay! room we got shown was ok, bathroom was lovely,kitchen, dining room and living room all same room couldn’t swing a cat, probably would have booked as it was a decent price but the fact they gave us 30 minutes to pay in full for a holiday 12 month away didn’t like, never got my star prize and did not understand why we had to be homeowners in uk
