3 päivän luxusloma La Diguella
Luxus hotelli La Diguessa. Jo saapuminen hotelliin oli vaikuttava.Meidät noudettiin katamaraanilta veloituksetta, Ja miellyttävän sisäänkirjautumisprosessin jälkeen saimme huoneen heti, selvästi ennen normaalia sisäänkirjoittautumisaikaa. Huoneemme oli tilava ja erittäin hyvä. Henkilökunta hotellissa on erittäin ystävällistä riippumatta heidän työtehtövistään. Hotelli ei varsinaisesti sijaitse uimarannalla, vaikkakin hotellin rannasta voi mennä uimaan. Hotellissa on hieno uima-allas merinäkyminellä ja altaassa sijaisevalla baarilla. Aamiainen kuohuviineillä on todella hyvä. Ja aamiaisen maisemat suoraan merelle ovat hienot. Myös päivittäin vaihtuvat buffet illalliset olivat maukkaita. Hotelli sijaitsee keskeisellä paikalla, josta on helppo käydä kaikissa La Diguen nöhtävyyksissä ja aistia leppoinen paikalliselämä. Lomamme täällä päättyi yhtä hienosti kuin oli alkanutkin. Eli meidät vietiin veloituksetta katamaaraanille juuri oikeaan aikaan. Jos palaamme vielä La Diguen saarelle majoitumme varamasti tässä samassa hotellissa.
La Digue - wonderful place
We really liked La Digue and after visiting Prasin before found it laid back and relaxed. The hotel is on the water front with great views over the sea from the restaurant, which is a buffet breakfast and dinner but good quality. Getting over from Praslin by a Cat is fun and we were met at the jetty and taken to the hotel. The first 15 mins were poor, staff chatting to themselves and largely unready for a new party of residents. However, once we were checked in and taken to our room we began to really enjoy the experience. We had a Villa de Charm which I would strongly advise, may be more expensive but you are higher up the hillside with terrific views- look out for the tropic birds and giant fruit bats! There is a buggy service but walking down is OK. There is a lot to see on La Digue so do plan and enjoy it. Bicycles and available but one of count not cycle! so we did do a lot of walking. Staff were fine once we got over the poor check in, and sadly we only stayed 3 nights and we were off to Silhouette, could have stayed longer
Wonderful customer service.
Had a great time and the hotel was beautiful. Just wanted to say that the servers and the cooks were so wonderful. The customer service was fantastic. Especially Emon Ahmed. He was so willing to help, had a great attitude and truly enjoyed how welcomed he made us feel. Thank you.
Day at the Spa La Passe/La Digue. Relaxing & breathtaking Location.
Great central location. Receptionist was super friendly and helpful every time I walked in when passing by to try and decide. Actually, the duo up front were both super helpful and answered all my many questions. Wish cups were on hand to have some water while you waited. Water available, just no cups. They could’ve done mint lemon water or basil water. Something refreshing on an island where herbs and fruit are abundant. After a beach day while you wait, one really doesn’t want to go hunting for a cup in their adjacent bar. That aside, scrub, massage and facial were really very good and the natural setting for them was really outstanding with lush foliage, boulders and natural pools as the backdrop. Not exactly spoiled for choice in the area (it’s a small island) but highly recommend it nonetheless.
Disappointing and poor customer orientation
Very low customer orientation - Spa reservations errors - any request takes ages to be fulfilled - very slow service - food quality very unstable - although we cancelled our attendance in advance to a lunch, they charged us with no discussion and compromise possible. Not even any commercial gesture on cocktail or drinks, despite our clear request. Instead of listening to customers, they prefer impose their view and managers are more than stubborn, This Hotel could be so much better given its position and situation. This is a pity that they accept to leave customer frustrated. Insead This hotel is not worth staying. Managment is in a too much dominant position and does not care about customer view and wellness.
