More of a boutique chic hotel than luxury

The main reason I have put a three star and not a four is the terrible noise of the slamming doors and the fact I can literally hear the room next doors alarm going off several times at 7am when I’m holiday :( the rooms were very spacious but tired, beds are very comfortable which did help the fact I was woken up everyday by the slamming doors. Staff were all very friendly, drinks by the pool lovely but quite expensive. Didn’t eat so can’t comment on that. We checked in about 11pm and there was some entertainment, most guests received welcome drinks which I noticed which we didn’t (maybe closed the bar). Room was cleaned everyday and replaced waters and coffees for the coffee machine which is in the room. Beautiful view’s absolutely stunning but steep hill up to the hotel so if you are slightly older or injured this will really affect you. Overall pleasant stay but unfortunately if we were to visit Mýkonos again we wouldn’t return.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mr and Mrs White! The staff are so lovely and helpful. The rooms are a little run down but nothing too bad. The pool area, bar and restaurant are stunning, it’s the sort of hotel where you don’t want to leave the hotel because it’s so nice!! However, whilst the location is great, the hotel is up a steep dirt road. If you are walking, it’s a tough walk (and can be slippery if you don’t have grippy shoes).

Great views you will never get tired of!

The views from this hotel are amazing. You will never get bored looking at them. There are plenty of spots to relax by the pool and the infinity pool is fabulous as an extra viewing point! To get the best experience here, you should book a room with a sea-view. The quality of all the rooms is not consistent throughout so this would enhance your stay. We did think that the prices of food and drink in the hotel were on the expensive side, but there are plenty of restaurants, markets and a lovely bakery nearby within a 10/15 minute walk. It is noted that the hotel is up a hill and it’s quite a steep climb. However don’t let this put you off staying here as the views as a result are definitely worth it. A huge thank you to Athena who made our stay special. She knows how to make guests feel welcome and I never saw her without a smile on her face!

Dirty!

The setting off Mr & Mrs White from the pool/sunbathing is really nice. However the pool is dirty, lots of bits & hair floating about (ear infection calling). Room was about 6 flights of stairs felt like we were in the basement, stunk of cigarette smoke. Our room was nice at first viewing, but if you are going to do black/white theme it has to be spotless and our room was NOT! Dirty is being kind… Hair found on pillows, everywhere on the floor, in the shower, in the sink. Floor very dirty, found earring back on the floor. The room was also incomplete, white paint on the windows from decorating, pencil markings and drilled holes all over the bathroom walls. Pipes sticking out the floor. With only masking tape covering them. Breakfast buffet style, we got there at the start and croissants were stale like they had been left over from the day before. Cutlery was dirty. Overall just dirty, like nobody had any pride in the place.

10/10 experience

Absolutely loved the hotel and the staff! The views were incredible, delicious food and drinks, walking distance to a beautiful beach and restaurants. Everything was GREAT, the service, the atmosphere, the amenities. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Special shout out to the staff during my visit…Athena, Dionisis, Rizwan, and Vigelious (spellcheck)…excellent group of people…so down to earth and accommodating. 10/10 experience.
