The setting off Mr & Mrs White from the pool/sunbathing is really nice. However the pool is dirty, lots of bits & hair floating about (ear infection calling). Room was about 6 flights of stairs felt like we were in the basement, stunk of cigarette smoke. Our room was nice at first viewing, but if you are going to do black/white theme it has to be spotless and our room was NOT! Dirty is being kind… Hair found on pillows, everywhere on the floor, in the shower, in the sink. Floor very dirty, found earring back on the floor. The room was also incomplete, white paint on the windows from decorating, pencil markings and drilled holes all over the bathroom walls. Pipes sticking out the floor. With only masking tape covering them. Breakfast buffet style, we got there at the start and croissants were stale like they had been left over from the day before. Cutlery was dirty. Overall just dirty, like nobody had any pride in the place.
Absolutely loved the hotel and the staff! The views were incredible, delicious food and drinks, walking distance to a beautiful beach and restaurants. Everything was GREAT, the service, the atmosphere, the amenities. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Special shout out to the staff during my visit…Athena, Dionisis, Rizwan, and Vigelious (spellcheck)…excellent group of people…so down to earth and accommodating. 10/10 experience.
Mycono’s hidden jewel!
We had such a great time in this beautiful hotel! It is perfectly priced compared to Myconos’ high prices! The design is mesmerizing and the breakfast is delicious and healthy! I would definitely recommend it!
We loved our visit to MMW Mykonos. The hotel is offers a good buffet breakfast which runs until 11. Delicious fruits, pastries, breads and fried eggs etc. The location of the hotel is up a hill- make sure you wear your trainers! There is a bus stop near by that will take you to Old Mykonos town which costs €1.80. A cab is €35 so stick to the bus! The bus takes 10 minutes. A gorgeous beach is only a 15 minute walk away- but be aware you do have to pay for sunbeds. At the hotel there is a wide range of cocktails available as well as a lunch/ pool bar menu for food. The staff are extremely helpful and all have very good English! Nothing is ever too much for them. The pool is great- it’s needed with the hot sun! Pool towels also available on request. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels.
The staff make this hotel great!
What an amazing place!! We visited Mykonos last week as a family with our 11month old baby. Generally I would not recommend Mykonos as a place to visit with children, *but* the hotel staff at Mr & Mrs White were wonderful. So friendly & helpful, we couldn't have asked more from them. They helped us with our reservations, taxis & provided excellent hosting service at the pool bar & restaurant area. The chef Rizwan was great, very lovely & accommodated our breakfast requests with no hesitation. He provided a good selection each day and we really enjoyed speaking with him every morning. You can see he works very hard & takes pride in his work. Alexandra, Athena & Vaggelis provided an excellent front of house service & they were all so friendly & approachable, with a smile on their face all the time. Nothing was too much to ask of them. The bar staff Dionisis, Lefteris & Anna were all also so friendly & attentive. They provided top class service all day & evening. The maintenance man Ervin was a very happy chap always willing to help out. Finally we greatly appreciated the Housekeeping staff Chrisa & Tzeni would cleaned our room everyday. Overall the hotel itself could do with a few improvements (for example more storage in the rooms & provision of an iron) but the staff made up for the shortfalls. Word of warning there is a big hill to climb to get to the hotel BUT the view is totally worth it!
