Rauhallinen rantaloma

Lomailimme täällä 13 yötä, kaksi aikuista ja 1-vuotias taapero. Olemme tyytyväisiä hotelliin, huoneeseen ja sijaintiin. Hotellin puutarha on kaunis. Paljon kasveja ja kala-altaita. Kolme hienoa uima-allasta. Meidän tarkoituksiin ei ollut täydellistä lastenallasta (lastenallas on 55cm syvä!) mutta 1-vuotias tykkäsi uida meidän kanssa ja leikkiä uima-altaan portailla. Henkilökunta oli todella avuliasta ja mukavaa! Aamiainen oli hyvä, kaikille jotakin. Muuten hotellissa ei kyllä ollut useampia ravintoloita, vaan kaikki tuli samasta keittiöstä. Ravintolassa koimme yhden hyvän ja kaksi epätyydyttävää ruokailua. Hotellin lähellä sijaitsee paljon erilaisia hyviä ravintoloita! Vaatteiden pesulapalvelu oli melko kallis ja huono. Jätti vaatteisiin paljon tahroja tai hajua.

Peaceful vacation

I absolutely love this peaceful Balinese family owned resort. Great location, super friendly staff and excellent food. Go for a nice stroll by the promenade between the hotel and the beach. It will take you to markets, restaurants and small shops.

Home away from home

3rd time staying here, great service as usual. Best location! Love the pool and our deluxe room. Just booked for April 2024 to celebrate my 50th! - can’t wait! Great club sandwich and Nasi goreng, while enjoying the beach view. Also great to hire the bikes which we had all day for $10!

Tired Resort & Underwhelming

On check in we were advised that we had been upgraded to a deluxe room which was a pleasant surprise. That was unfortunately the best part of the Griya besides the staff who were all friendly and helpful. On arrival in our room my wife and I were completely underwhelmed. The rooms are small (and this was deluxe), tired and poorly laid out. We had been staying in Ubud prior to our arrival in Sanur and the hotel we stayed at there was at a similar price point and was vastly superior to the Griya in all facets. We wandered around the hotel and looked at the various facilities including the pools and again it was all very tired, dated and not at all inviting. The breakfast on our first morning was an underwhelming experience. There was a large queue for the egg station and the chef quickly became overwhelmed and one of the staff members started walking around the restaurant calling out egg orders as the chef made them. Plastic juice cups that had obviously seen the inside of a dishwasher hundreds of time were cloudy and cracked, breakfast food on offer was unappealing. So we checked out as we couldn’t bare to ruin our holiday entirely by staying here 7 nights. One was enough. There are much better options in Bali. This hotel seems to cater more for an older clientele and if it’s basic you are looking for then this maybe suitable.

Perfect location and the perfect resort.

This resort is perfect, best way to relax for a well deserved break. We stayed in a beach room - 3 adults, and they had put a single bed in the room with the king size bed so that kept my 17 yr old happy. The location of the room is the best, close to the beach and the large pool with the swim up bar and restaurant. The room was a little dated but we did not care, it was still perfectly fine and the airon worked well. Minibar had a great selection, however the mattress was a little on the hard side, although pillows were amazing. This hotel has a lot of sun beds both in the shade and sun and also along the beach on the other side of the beach walk. Best location in Sanur as it is right in the action, close to everything. Dinner at the Wicked Parrot 2 nights was great, live music and overall great value. The resort is just perfect and I am already planning to come back next year. RIB restaurant is across the road as well which was nice and there were so many restaurants we would have liked to have tried if time permitted. Restaurant at the hotel was good, breakfast choices were ok, the omlette's were amazing. Nothing to complain about except for me the bed was a little too hard.
