A lovely stay - beautiful hotel with excellent staff
My husband and I stayed at INNside Fuerteventura for a week and loved our stay. It was situated in a gorgeous location and the hotel grounds were impeccable. We opted for a room with a garden and I’d highly recommend this. A few days were very windy and the garden was sheltered from the wind so we could still sunbathe. The rooms were simple, clean and comfortable. We had originally booked bed and breakfast only but ended up upgrading to half board as the food was so good (and we are picky!). As with all resorts, we had a few small niggles - as the hotel is small and boutiquey, there weren’t always a lot of sun loungers but the lifeguard on duty (who was super friendly and kind) was always on hand to help find a sun lounger. Secondly, we didn’t love new guests walking through sun loungers to get to their room. Slightly impacted the otherwise relaxing ambience. Other than those two small things, a wonderful trip.
Getting too expensive
Another good visit to the hotel however getting too expensive for what it is. Not worth the €300 a night not value for money in my opinion All staff are friendly and helpful Buffet breakfast has an outstanding choice of options and eggs cooked to order but pre cooked items tend to not be hot. Luke warm poached eggs are not very nice Half board option includes buffet dinner at a time you choose at check in. Often times there would be a long queue to get seated for dinner and queues in the buffet stations. Again a wide choice of options but precooked meat/fish could be over done if not just off the grill and veg/pizza cold Beautiful setting and well appointed rooms but the extra charge for a coffee machine/kettle in room excessive especially given current room rate Not sure if there will be disturbance once the refurbishment of the Melia next door starts next month but hope it doesn’t affect the enjoyment of the hotel
Disappointing.
For what we paid (2400) the hotel definitely isn’t worth it. We were in a sea view room and could hear ‘everything’ in the rooms next door from curtains and blinds being drawn every morning and night and bathroom ‘activities’. The rooms are not sound proof at all. On the balcony’s outside in the mornings if cleaners are dragging trolleys or someone is checking out /in with suitcases the noise is really bad. If your next to someone who likes TV…… good luck! Get up early to reserve a lounger as there a a limited amount when compared to the number of rooms and a certain nation loves to reserve beds!!! Luckily we hired a car and went to the nearby beaches and toured the island. Breakfast and dinner seating arrangements are hit and miss. We asked on the first day where to sit and were referred to ‘the manager’, we gave up and just sat down where we could and this remained the case throughout the week we stayed. Food is all buffet for breakfast and dinner and just OK, again when compared to other hotels at the same price point I can confidently say that the food here was not on par at all. We did half board but ate out most evenings. The beach the hotel overlooks is a kite surfing beach and we didn’t see anyone swim in it the whole week. Swim beaches tend to be in Costa Calma etc. I wouldn’t upgrade to a sea view and if I’m being really transparent I think if your new to Fuerteventura I would look to stay in another location. The upside for us was the adults only but seeing as we didn’t / couldn’t use the pool and didn’t use the half board much there seemed little point to being child free, that said the thought of noisy kids in the rooms either side with paper walls does make me understand why it is adult only.
Cool adults only hotel
We stayed here for 4 nights for the second half of our trip to the Island. The hotel has a lovely modern vibe which will appeal to many. We had a sea view garden room which was lovely though all the rooms looked great and the majority seemed to have sea views. The beach is easily accessible and we enjoyed watching the kite surfers. It was very windy on the beach when we visited though and not suitable for sunbathing. The hotel however is much more sheltered. We enjoyed the food at breakfast and dinner, although as other reviewers have commented, the cooked items are always very hot. Lots and lots of positives but also a few negatives. The service at dinner was very hit and miss. One night no one offered us drinks and on another night, a drink we had ordered did not arrive. Upon asking, it then appeared after we had finished eating which wasn’t ideal. In the room, the aircon doesn’t go below 20 degrees so the room felt too hot for us a night. Also there was no tea/coffee making facility which in this day and age was disappointing.
