Very friendly and flowerful lodging at Kleopatra

Warm welcome by Clairy, the owner of the aparthotel. We have been there 1 week and it was good. Lovely foulded towels on the bed, every day new flowers in the room, clean room/badroom, little kitchen, sometimes drinks or fruit on the table, all very nice and Clairy is a very friendly person. Outsite the hotel many fowers and very green. I enjoyed being there. Ronneke

Love it!

I've stayed in Stalos for holidays for many years and always noticed Hotel Kleopatra because it looks like an Arab riad surrounded by lush vegetation and a short walk to beach. This year I stayed and was not disappointed. This is a small, family run hotel for the independently-minded. It feels safe and secure for solo travellers. Kleri, who runs the hotel next to her home, keeps the place really well: clean, painted. Lots of flowers and pots. The hotel rooms are all on different levels so its a hotel best for those who don't require elevator. It is utterly charming with a really personal touch--5 minutes walk to beach, Maria's Taverna and many little shops, eateries, croissants and the bus into Chania or further west. Chania is only a 10 minute bus ride to the centre of Chania. I will return.

Wonderful Place

We spent two weeks in this wonderful apartment complex. Our first time in Greece, and we loved it. The people are so welcoming and open. This is more than true of our hostess!!! She was an absolute delight, hard working, helpful, keen to ensure we had everything we needed. She definitely goes above and beyond for her guests. We were the last to leave before the winter and watching her work at her deep cleaning when rooms were vacated was a testament to her and the apartments. Spotless and comfortable with everything you need. We loved the place, just off the main road so lovely and quiet but only 5-10 mins from the beach and a vast array of lovely places to eat. Also several small supermarkets nearby, what more could you want. Would definitely be back to the island and also to this wonderful apartment complex. Loved it ❤️

Cute hotel but ...

The hotel is very cute with a lot of beautiful flowers. It’s close to the sea and there is a small but good supermarket just across the street. Air condition is not included and costs €8 per night. It is worth paying since the nights are warm. We did not have problems with mosquitos but one night. The kitchen is ok for making your own meals. The cleaning of the room is decent. But there are no sweet surprises and freshly cut flowers every other day, as stated in earlier reviews. And as for the owner of the hotel, she’s nice … but she seems to be exhausted from working from morning to nights. Reading all the overwhelmingly good feedback we believe that the reviewers must be exaggerating. Nota bene! The owner made some racist remarks about some other guests, so it’s probably not such a safe place to stay for non-whites or arabs. That’s why we give it 1 out of 5 points.

Wonderful, Fantastic, Perfect!

I had the most wonderful 2 week stay at the Hotel Kleopatra, everything was perfect. My studio with sea view was everything I could have wished for. It was spacious, great balcony, spotlessly clean, peaceful, wonderful plants & flowers & had everything I needed. My bed was super comfortable too! My room was cleaned daily by the very hard working & lovely Klery & Voula, they are amazing women! The hotel is a 4 minute walk from the beautiful beach & great restaurants & there is a supermarket a minutes walk away. I loved my gifts & surprises of beautiful flowers, tasty marmalade, olive oil and liqueur, thank you! Klary is the most wonderful, warm, kind hearted & welcoming host. I love you 'Auntie' Klary & I miss you and the Hotel Kleopatra very much. I will definitely come back next summer! Thank you so much for making my stay feel like I was at home & with family. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Kleopatra!
