Loma

Lähellä lentokenttää, taksilla noin 10 minuutin matka. Hinta noin 15 euroa. Vastaanotto mukava ja asiallinen. Samalla aikuisille ja lapsille annettiin tervetuliaisdrinkit. Hotelli hieman sokkeloinen, mutta paikat löytyvät hyvin. Ulkona isot uima-altaat. Merenrantaan noin 50 metriä. Piha-alueella minigolf ja ohjattu lasten leikkipaikka. Huoneet siistit ja melko isot. Siisteydeltään ja palvelutasosta ihan normaali Sheraton tasoa.. perheille hyvä.

Lomamatka

Paikka on ihan ok, huoneet ovat hieman nuhjuisia. Ravintoloita on muistaakseni neljä. Joissain on teemailtoja. Uima-altaat piti olla lämmitettyjä! Ei ne olleet joka tietysti oliperheen pienimmälle suuri pettymys, kun vesi on todella kylmää. Hieman pettynyt kokonaisuuteen, koska kyseessä on tasokas hotelliketju.

Loistava kohde Golf matkalle

Kun saavut hotelliin huomaat että olet tärkeä asiakas, lupea vastaanotto jo ulko-ovella Upea palvelu allasbaarista ravintolaan. Täällä viikko tuntuu lomalta. Golf kentälle hyvä kuljetus, kaikki toimii. Suosittelen 10+

Kaikki kohdallaan aikaista lomaa varten...

Jotkin arvostelut saivat minut hermostuneeksi, mutta turhaan. Yövyimme huoneessa 312, joka oli erittäin hyvä: suuri, erittäin siisti ja meillä oli kaikki tarvittava. Hieno suihku ja kylpyhuone, TV, minibaari, sängyt olivat mukavia ja oleskelualue oli hyvä. Parveke oli jaettu, mutta huone 312 on päädyssä, joten ei mitään ongelmia ja voit nauttia jonkin verran 'yksityisestä' tilasta. WiFi oli outo.. voit käyttää sitä baarissa 30 minuutin ajan tai maksaa 7€ per päivä tai 25€ viikko (tälläinen veloitus vaikutti oudolta tälläisessä hotellissa).. Hyvä signaali kaikkialla paitsi huoneessa, jossa signaali oli huono. Aamiaisella ja illallisella oli paljon valinnan mahdollisuuksia. Tilauksesta tehtyjä munakkaita, muroja, hedelmiä, kaikki perus aamiaistarvikkeet. Illallisella perinteistä kalaa tai lihaa tilauksesta - ei jäänyt nälkä, olen tarkka ruokani suhteen enkä jäänyt nälkäiseksi. Olut oli noin 4€ tuoppi, drinkit olivat noin 6€ - en nyt ole aivan varma. Uima-allas oli todella hyvä, puhdas ja paikalla oli paljon auringonottotuoleja. Hotellissa saattaa olla hieman ruuhkaisempaa kun sesonki jatkuu kun perheet saapuvat allasalueelle, myös aamiaiset ja illalliset saattavat olla hieman meluisampia (me kaikki olimme lapsia joskus!) Ensimmäiseksi lomaksi ilman kolmea lastamme aika jolloin matkustimme, keli ja hotelli olivat kaikki kohdallaan.

Exceptional Service and Caters for all the Family

We stayed at the Sheraton for 14 nights at the beginning of July 2023. The transfer time from the airport was exceptionally quick and we were welcomed at reception with a glass of champagne, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made the holiday a fantastic experience. My 7 year old son really enjoyed the “Yambaland” kids club, where the staff were bubbly and welcoming and operate a rotating schedule of fun events for the kids to play. We made great use of the poolside area which is the heart of the hotel during the day. It was great having a heated outdoor pool also where our son could safely practice his swimming. The breakfasts were tasty and varied enough that you won’t get bored, which can sometimes be the case with buffet restaurants. Whilst other hotels we have stayed in have had a book swap area located near reception - the Sheraton adopted a different method, whereby books were placed all around the hotel on tables throughout the corridors. My Wife really liked this, as it added a scavenger hunt feel when seeking out a new book every few days. I took my golf clubs with me and headed to play Fuertaventura Golf Club a few times during our stay. The club is a short taxi journey away and is in an overall good state of repair with a number of interesting holes to play. There is also a slight discount offered for Sheraton residents on the normal green fee rate. The hotel is very close to the “Atlantico” shopping centre which has a few clothes shops, restaurants and a supermarket., as well as other smaller outlets. However one of the main attractions is on the beach side of the shopping centre as there is an enclosed park with supervision. This was a popular area with locals and tourists as the parents could comfortably enjoy a meal whilst keeping an eye on the kids burning off any remaining energy that they had left for the day. On that note, the entertainment that the hotel put on each evening was really good with a number of very talented acts, however we may not have attended the bar as often as we would have liked, as we were normally pretty exhausted ourselves in the evening. If you have any doubts about booking the hotel from reading any of the other reviews, then I would say that we have just booked to go again in 2024. This will be the first time that we have revisited the same hotel on another holiday as we normally like exploring new places. However the overall feel of the hotel and the fact that it catered to the needs of all of our family meant that we were comparing everything to our stay this year and decided that one way of ensuring a great holiday would be to experience the Sheraton Fuertaventura Beach Golf & Spa again. Thank you to everyone who made our stay this year so enjoyable - we very much look forward to seeing you again next year and having such a lovely time.
