Perfecto
Really nice stay! Amenities are superb Loving the Memorabilias available in the lobby, specially Elvis Presley's Guitar since I am a fan of Elvis myself. The pool was also a dream as well as the customer service.
Great hotel
Fabulous hotel, but don't accept a room opposite lifts, the floor access bells are so loud when the lift arrives, it wakes you up, no room service for food after 11pm in march and April incase told, but the menu omits this
Stylish and cool newly refurbished hotel in the best part of Marbella
Stylish hotel just very recently refurbished. Has all the amenities you need including a very well equipped gym. The two pools are awesome, and it’s not too far from the beach. The breakfast menu could not be any better, highly recommended.
Nice hotel, but not as nice as last time.
We stayed at here between 23/02/20 and 01/03/20 in room 425. We stayed here last year and was so delighted with our stay last year we booked again. We had 3 different football teams staying in our hotel, which shows how good this hotel can be. Checking in (Score 1/5) Checking in took 45 minutes. Very slow, there 3 staff on the desk but only 1 staff checking people in. Hotel facilities and location. (Score 4.5/5) The hotel is basically a 4 star and has everything you need. The pool area has recently been decked out and has more of an area to sunbathe and has more beds. The location is superb. It’s a 10 minute walk from puerto Banus and 15 minutes by car (or free coach put on by hotel) to Marbella. The casino is onsite. The only way they can improve is make the gym and indoor pool free. This is because it seems to be an different company running the spa, gym and pool. Dining experience (score 2/5) Breakfast is good, and is static. Fresh egg station, cooked options and a very good continental offering. Dinner is adequate but it’s very random. The food does not go together. There is a fresh meat station but I would stay clear, the chef uses the same tongs for raw chicken and raw fish, then uses it again to take off the cooked produce. If your a fussy eater it will be salads or chip butties for you and it is random. The food is labelled but is not under the correct label. I could see all the veggies/vegans always asking if it was for them. The dining room had 3 areas permanently closed off, (due to 3 football teams staying) and we were squashed into the central section. There were always queues to get a table. 90% of the time they were not eating at the time most people were. Would it not have been easier to ask them what time they were eating and close the areas of at that time? Room facilities (score 4.5/5) The rooms are very nice and spacious, very clean and the safe is now free to use. There are only 2 plug sockets available so bring your extension plugs. My advice is to pay for a pool view room. If you do it looks beautiful and won’t be disappointed. If you don’t you may be put facing the motorway or above the hotel room. Conclusion (score 3/5) The staff are stretched severely doing the peak times and although they are nice, management needs to have more staff on. The staff are brilliant and have an excellent command of English, but there was too much work for them. This was the general consensus through out the holiday. The hotel has recently gone cashless, and you pay at the reception desk to have credit on your room key. You then your room key to pay for everything the hotel has to offer. This in theory is a good idea, however the only way to find out that you have enough credit is when they give you a receipt, or the hotel staff give you a filthy look and tell you to pay more at reception. Now In a paperless society where we are trying to save the earth or wastage is this the best policy? On this stay the management and their decisions with the 3 football teams seemed to put us as an after thought and treated us as an inconvenience. This hotel can be very good, but management decisions has pulled this hotel back. Please management please treat all your guests the same. Would I come back? Sadly no.
