Merkillepantavaa niin kohteen, kuin primordiankin suhteen oli siisteys ja ystävälliset ihmiset.

Saamamme palvelu niin hotellissa, kuin sen ravintolassakin oli erittäin hyvää, nopeaa ja ystävällistä. Erityiskiitos kerroksen siivoajalle. Kaksiomme toisessa kerroksessa vastasi täysin odotuksiamme. Hotelli sijaitsi parin kilometrin mittaisen rantakadun eteläpäässä. Kaikki alueen palvelut sijaitsivat tuon kadun varressa, joten puolen tunnin kävelymatkan aikana löysi kaiken mitä matkallaan tarvitsi.

Fantastic place

The best possible location in Podgora. Hotel is on the beach and main walking road. Staff is very pleasant and helpful so you really feel welcomed. Rooms are nice and clean. On the ground floor is Kappo restaurant so everything is convenient. And the best thing is the view.

Stunning location in the calm village of Podgora

Lovely, family run hotel with roughly 24 rooms, all with stunning seaviews. We stayed in room 201, 2nd floor with a private little balcony with amazing seaview. Comfortable beds and pillows. Room cleaned and towels changed every day. Basic but adequate utensils. Lovely restaurant on the ground floor with good food and reasonable prices and exceptional, attentative and serviceminded staff. Hotel is located on the main beach promenad and only a stone throw away from the beautiful pebble beach. Only a 5-10 min walk into the very centre of the village. Would love to come back to this retreat.

Wonderful and friendly

Where to start... The hotel is one, if not THE oldest and finest on the entire riviera, dating back to the mid 1920's. Located about 15 meters from the water and as close to Podgora center as is possible, the location is superb. The staff is nothing but friendly and helpful, regardless if it's the maid or the boss himself. Everyone is nice and professional and helpful, it's simple as that. Rooms are clean, but as I said, the hotel is old. Expect old style rooms rather than soft carpets and gray scale furniture. This is the proper, real deal, classic, and it's wonderful.

Re-visit

Seconf time at this hotel. Love it. Staff are so friendly. Feels like home. The most beautiful wiew over the ocean and village. Ocean 10m outside entry. Perfect location 1,5h to Split and 3h to Dubrovnik by local bus who drives along the Markarska riviera on the way there. Beuatiful walking up in the mountins with spectacular view and alot of flowers and buttrtflies!! Was a thad to hot 28 degrees in ealy june for walking altough we had a wonderful day. Both cities is worth the visit. Village Podgora is qiuet espacially of season, when it is a real hideaway but still with alot resturants open. Although slightly hard beds. Is stonebeaches and requier thongs. Locals sit on thick blancket and so did we so you save money on expensive beachchair. Of season (or if you are early bird) you can sit in shade by a tree. If you walk 1km among beach towards next vilage Tučepi you can swim naked and tucepi has a naked beach where clothes are not allowed. Nudistbeaches are common in Croatia and as not stigmatized as alot of other coutries. Be aware of rules and DO NOT stare even though you just walk by.
