Upeat maisemat

Vietin lapseni kanssa viikon loman Almyrassa. Ruoka oli ihan perustasoa, mutta ei mitään huippuluokkaa- lounasravintolan buffet tasoa. Viikon jälkeen ei tee mieli kyllä buffet ruokaa, koska vaihtuvuus oli hyvin vähäistä. Ilmaiset viinit olivat huonoja ja olut ykkösolutta. Vesi oudon makuista ja kivennäisvedet väri riippui siitä mitä limua oli aiemmin laskettu. Allas iso, mutta vesi harmaata ja en nähnyt kertaakaan, että kukaan olisi siivonnut allasta. Altaassa sai uida vuorokauden ympäri, joten mietin miten klooraus suoritetaan. Aurinkopedeille mahdoton päästä, koska ihmiset varaa paikat jo ennen klo 8 aamulla. Allaspyyhkeet sai vaihtaa vain kerran viikon aikana. Olin ollut hotelliin etukäteen yhteydessä ja varmistanut, että saan vauvalle sängyn ja huoneen maantasalta. Kuinkas kävikään, kun yöllä saavuimme hotelliin. Huone 2.kerroksessa ja vauvalle lisävuode. Respa ei voinut tehdä asialle mitään yöllä. Onneksi seuraavana päivänä sain vaihtaa huonetta. Lasien tiskaus ei esim. kuulu siivoukseen. Saippuaa jne. ei lisätty kertaakaan viikon aikana tai lakanoita vaihdettu. Siivous oli lattian lakaisu, sängyn petaus ja roskien tyhjennys. Lisämaksusta saimme pitää huonetta myöhempään lähtöpäivänä, mutta huonetta piti vaihtaa.

Great hotel

The hotel was great. The food was delicious and the beach was very nice. We stayed for a week, and it was really fun. The staff was decent and the chefs were pretty funny. The mini market was very useful too.

Definitely coming again next year

Pros: - super friendly staff (including the cleaning ladies) - the daily cleaning of the room - big room, comfy bed, terrace - nice cats everywhere - the variety of food and drinks - sunbeds for free - minimarket in the hotel (you don't have to go anywhere the whole vacation) - situation - enough privacy - quiet neighborhood (just a few shops and hotels, but everything is quite far) Cons: - the beach isn't sandy - I would love chicken food more often :) All in all, I loved it, I came back rested and happy and I am planning to come again next year. :) Many thanks to all staff!

We will definitely come here again

Almyra Hotel & Village. A great hotel in a very quiet area in the south-east of Crete. Which in September is basically a guarantee of good weather because it is different in the north. Lovely beach with free sunbeds and towels. Even in October, 25 degrees water is a guarantee of fun. In my opinion, water shoes are obligatory, because the beach is pebble and rocky. Two swimming pools. The main one is medium deep, and for children it is closer to the beach with slides up to half a meter deep. In September, the water is great in the pools. It is different in October. As the cold north wind blows and the nights get colder, it takes a few warmer days for the pools to warm up again. But the sea is always hot anyway. Food very good, quite a variety. Everyone will find something for himself. A great place to start your adventure in Southeast Crete. Of course, the car is recommended. You can easily reach Sitia, Ajos Nikolaos or the beach of Wai. But the most beautiful places are located on the south-eastern shore of the island, 30-40 minutes away. For example Koutsouras, Makry Gialos. A bit further Xerokampos. For the more motivated Matala and surroundings. But Balos or Elafonisi are not the side of the island. Walk! An hour away from the hotel, a canyon and not always "working", but beautiful Milonas waterfall. You can easily reach Ierapetra by taxi or bus. This year it was our second vacation at this hotel and we will definitely come here again.

Vacation

Me and my friend went on vacation to the Almyra hotel, with which we were extremely satisfied. From the beginning we were taken care of 😊. From the reception a pleasant gentleman drove us with our suitcases to our apartment through beautiful streets lined with flowers and olive trees. The beach, pool, bars, reception and restaurants are close to the apartments. Our apartment was small, the bathroom ordinary, but we didn't miss anything. It was cleaned every day and everything worked including air conditioning, we didn't need more in the room 👌🏼. What we appreciated the most was the beautifully clean sea and the wide selection of very good food - ήταν εξαιρετικό! And the best of all is the staff, one kind and hospitable person next to another. we recommend this hotel! thanks Nicolas, Dimitris, Emanuela, Edvard, George and other nice people.
