Varahotelli, Las Areneas oli täynnä

Meidät siirrettiin tänne kun ensisijainen varauksemme olikin ylibuukattu. Tämä oli iso pettymys mutta he vakuuttivat, että toinen hotellimme olisi parannus ensimmäiseen verrattuna. Hotelli olikin ihana ja huone 221, jossa yövyimme oli mahtava, tilava ja kylpyhuone oli hieno. Oli sääli, että parvekkeelta avautui näkymä meren sijaan pihalle. Meille annettiin myös vääränlaiset sängyt. Hotellin henkilökunta ei tuntunut hirveästi piittaavan oikein mistään. Meille selvisi vasta kotona, että Las Areneas oli varannut meille puolihoidon uudesta hotellista! Hotelli oli myös vähän kaukana kaikkialta ja lähempänä kaupunkia kuin rantaa. Hotellissa ei myöskään ollut muita englantia puhuvia vieraita ja tunsimme olomme vähän orvoiksi. Hotellin allas on pieni ja jäätävän kylmä. Aamiainen oli kuitenkin ihana ja monipuolinen. Lomallamme oli myös kolme sateista päivää joiden aikana huomasimme, ettei täällä ole oikein mitään tekemistä. Hotellin kylpyläpalvelut oli varattuna koko lomamme ajan.. Ranta oli kaunis ja rannalla oli hieno italialainen ravintola jostai sai mahtavaa ruokaa ja palvelua. Palasimme sinne melkein joka ilta. Kihlattuni oli pettynyt kaikesta härdellistä, sillä oli selvää, että hän halusi kosia minua täällä täydellisen loman jälkeen. Otimme kuitenkin kaiken irti ajastamme täällä.

Disappointing Hotel

Tired, poor standard hotel still charging high prices. Our room had a balcony 6 feet from our own, very dark because of this, walls so thin you could hear other people in rooms above and below, bathroom very old and tired and not very clean, floor covered in nasty linoleum, only 1 English speaking sky news channel, dreadful breakfast, pool area dirty and unsafe, wood flooring round the pool broken and uneven, steps into pool broken and dangerous, at no time did any member of staff speak to us to say hello or can I help you, very poor experience, would not recommend or return.

Great location, will return

Our 3rd time here. Positives: location, cleanliness, breakfast, lobby area, reception, beds are very comfortable, air con, reception ordered a taxi for airport and it arrived within 2 minutes! Things that need improving: walls seem thin - could hear a guy talking loudly 1 night til about 2.30am and could even hear someone snoring one night!, patio doors have always been hard to slide, rooftop now has double day beds and single beds on the edges so you can’t sit around the edge to enjoy the view as easily. Happy with this hotel overall and price competitive considering its excellent location.

Definitely not 4 star

Arrived after spending 10 lovely days in Cala Bona to spend 4 days here, we normally stay in the Los Arenos, but it was fully booked Greeted by the unwelcoming, very arrogant Francesca told we were on the 4th floor, we had requested 1st or 2nd because I hate heights, but ok for 4 days I’ll just not go on the balcony When we found the room, the hotel is like a labyrinth, it was grubby and when we opened the curtains the view was like a “Shanty Town” it was awful, so my husband complained and they said they would move us the next day, the staff seemed to expect the complaint so we’re not the first Nice new room next day but the toilet ran constantly and the air con was jammed on full, we told them and they said maintenance would look at it Sunday morning 2.15am woken by loud talking and the sounds of cans being opened Lay listening to some Germans partying on the chairs provided on the landing 3am got ready went down to the reception, passing the group, and complained to the night manager, who could hear this noisy group as they we right above him, but had done nothing for nearly an hour!!! Not a great way to run a hotel I normally never want my holidays to end, but here, I couldn’t wait to get home Oh and by the way, your toilet is still broke as is your air con Awful hotel, rude, arrogant staff, book elsewhere I await your reply

Not the best at all.

We requested a room on the first or second floor. Ended up on the 5th. Literally 2 meters from a scruffy slum opposite. We couldn’t use the balcony or open the windows as the place stunk and was absolutely filthy. We did demand a different room it was OK the toilet kept running water all day and night the air-con was smashed. Not the best at all. Stay else were or you will regret it. Oh and the staff are way above there station.
