A terrific experience

Truly brilliant and Well done to the manger and team for keeping such a great hotel great. The place is spotlessly clean. The drinks around the pool kept coming all day without having to chase or ask. The food, drink selection and quality amazing. The organic pink bubbles topped it off. Lots of seating for evening entertainment to sit and relax in modern seating. The live music in the evening was great too. One of the best all inclusive sis we stayed at. Don’t get confused with next door hotel as that is truly a different experience and I think some reviews on here have got the wrong hotel.

Superb hotel complex

We are an elderly couple who have previously spent several magical holidays in East Africa. Due to our age, we thought we would never be able to see, hear and feel the beautiful atmosphere of Africa ever again but we were delighted to find it here in this beautiful and luxurious hotel complex.

Good Experience Almost Ruined By Poor Reception Staff

Decent Hotel Undermined By Poor Reception Service This trip was an experiment to check out an all inclusive package at a price 30-50% less than the equivalent in Turkey, etc. When commenting on the hotel the low price must not be forgotten. English guests at this hotel are few in number. The hotel mainly caters for French and German guests. Not a problem for us but worth remembering. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and low key. Possibly too low key for some but fine for us. The beach, pool and garden areas were all clean, tidy and well maintained. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Daily maid service was good. Minor gripes would be the temperamental air conditioning and the irregular replenishment of the (non alcoholic) mini bar. The food was perfectly acceptable if you were prepared for the 5 to 10 minute queue for the cooked to order pasta, stir fry or wraps. The pre-prepared dishes were often luke warn and therefore probably best avoided. Desserts were excellent. Have to say there was not a lot of variation with the food. It would be monotonous if you were staying for 2 weeks. The staff at the pool and in the restaurant were friendly and efficient. English could be limited but schoolboy French usually managed to bridge the gap. Yes they expect tips so bring small denomination notes and keep in mind the relatively low package price. Which brings me to the main barrier to a return visit. The service at reception. Check in took 30 minutes for just us (two people) as they insisted on receiving an accommodation voucher despite being shown emails from Tui illustrating that they did not issue these. Later we wanted to arrange a late check out. The tv information page advertised this for 200 dirs. The lady at reception struggled to understand our request, kepts us waiting for 20 minutes, then suggested that we come back the following day. When we declined to do this she charged us 360 drs for the service but did not inspire confidence. Sure enough, when we attempted to access our room mid afternoon on check out day the key card no longer worked. All the person had done the previous day was take the money. No action had been taken to facilitate the late check out. A visit to reception yielded another card. Sadly the second key also failed to open the door. Another visit to reception followed. A third key was provided and the porter despatched with a master key to clear the dead lock. The final twist was the porter expecting a tip for doing this. Not sure if the issue with reception was the language barrier, incompetence or apathy but their performance would be the main reason for not returning to the hotel.

Fantastic Beach Bar staff make this resort

Beautiful hotel set on fabulous white sandy beach. Great Service from the fantastic bar & beach staff at this hotel who all work tirelessly to make sure you are taken care off. They are all so friendly and happy. Special thanks to all of them but particularly Abderrazek & Riad who looked after us so well. We also took a day trip with car and driver and visited Tunis, Carthage & Sidi Bou Said - so worth it and good value for money at £100 total. Taxi into Hammamet cost around 10-15 Dinars so less than £4 and definitely worth a visit to the old Medina. Watersports are also great value.

A lovely experience

Where to start.....the hotel is beautiful! Very clean, well maintained and friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is a very good size. The room is cleaned and made everyday and the restaurant and hotel toilets are all to a very high standard.
