Hotelli B+, Ruoka ja palvelu A+

Me, kolmen hengen perhe, saavuimme myöhään hotellille, klo 22.45 jos tarkkoja ollaan. Kirjautumisen jälkeen yllätyimme, kun emme saaneet mitään ruokaa (voileipiä) tai välipaloja vastaanottotiskiltä tai baarista, joten menimme nälkäisinä nukkumaan sinä yönä. (Meille kerrottiin, että ravintola on suljettu eikä ruokaa tarjota siksi, mutta myöhään saapuvien vieraiden pitäisi saada baarista ruokaa) Saimme kivan ja vielä tärkeämmin, puhtaan huoneen. Sieltä löytyi kaikki mitä meidän kaltainen nuori perhe tarvitsee: pinnasänky lapselle, minijääkaappi, satelliitti-tv ja suuret vaatekaapit ja parhaat patjat, jotka on hotelleissa tulleet vastaan. Ainut huono puoli huoneessa ja hotellissa on se, että se kaipaisi remonttia, koska ne näyttivät vanhentuneilta, mutta vastaanottoalue oli vaikuttava ja nykyaikainen ja sieltä löytyi wifi. Asetuimme seuraavien päivien aikana uuteen ympäristöön: vaimoni tuhlasi omaisuuden kylpylässä (oli sen arvoista), taapero poikani nautti perinpohjaisesti viihdykkeistä ja minä hemmottelin itseäni parhaalla ruoalla ikinä ravintolassa. Nautimme pelihallista, joka oli vanhentunut, shisha-kahvilasta, sisäaltaasta ja puhtaasta yksityisrannasta, mutta vihasimme agressiivisia kaupustelijoita kuten ratsastava mies (Mahmud), joka huijasi meiltä 5 dinaria, sen jälkeen kun pakotti lapsemme ratsastamaan hevosellaan. Kaiken kaikkiaan ammattimainen henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä ja teki vierailusta miellyttävän, ja voisin suositella tätä paikkaa kenelle tahansa.

Great hotel with the best staff.

The staff looked after us as if we were royals, everyone were treated with passion and care, The food was mostly excellent but sometimes not to our taste. We had a lot of fun time with Dido and Max from the animation team who worked long hard hours to try and entertain everyone, The waiters in the restaurant and the bars always served you with a smile and the reception staff were very polite and helpful.

Pleasant stay

Did not expect much from the hotel as we booked last minute. We had a very pleasant stay, hotel was clean, rooms were clean, but in need of refreshment. Food was OK could do with bit more varieties thou especially fruit vise, drinks were average. Staff really friendly and helpful. Pool and beach area are kept clean . Shop in hotel is well stocked up . Helpful staff . Animation team are amazing . We come in october when it was not busy, which suited us , not sure how service is in busy season. Overall very pleasant stay . Good value for money.

Amazing honeymoon

We went to this hotel on our honeymoon, my sister and brother in law also went for a holiday. The hotel was clean, housekeeping did an amazing job everyday. All staff work amazingly hard, were super friendly. Big shout out to the animation team, especially Max and simo, great fun and friendly. Also issadene ( not sure on spelling) who served us drinks most days by the pool.from The Eden bar, Our wonderful waiter Mohammed went above and beyond in the restaurant, always having out table ready and drinks poured. Food was varied and always something for everyone. The chef on the omelette/ egg station always knew what we wanted. Always got a sun bed, although these could do with updating, same with the parasols some were broken. We loved our 11 nights stay and would definitely recommend. We also had a massage at the spa, was excellent and very good value for money. Vicky and David. 😎

A really great family holiday

We read some absolutely awful reviews for this hotel after booking with TUI. So it was with trepidation that we kept our booking for a party of 8 (4 adults,4 children). We asked for 2 family rooms next to each other in the main block. The rooms consisted of main bedroom and separate bedroom both with big beds, bathroom.The rooms are huge, Tv, reception dodgy, fridge filled only with 2 massive bottles of water each day, safe that we paid extra for ( 1 between us), plenty of storage, massive balcony over looking pool. Food…. Plenty for even the fussiest of our kids. Breakfast buffet, lunch at beach cafe, mid afternoon doughnuts Tunisian style and waffles, evening meal buffet. We tipped the waiter 20 dinar, he had out table ready every night for a week (we obs tipped him again as he was so attentive. My Grandaughter had her birthday while we were there, we had notified reception when we arrived , they made a real day for her one she will always remember. Drinks… men had beer, ladies gin and tonic (proper tonic) or rose wine (the better choice) premium drinks extra charge, but we never bothered. Pools…. Cold but the kids loved them and were in every day all day, adults once in stayed in. Cleaned every morning, decks also cleaned down, plenty of sun loungers made more comfortable but sun lounger mattresses. Tip a pool guy 10 dinar and he will help you for days. Pool towels 20 dinar deposit, changed halfway through the week as just dried out on the balcony. Beach is gorgeous, there are the camel and horse rides going on, we did not partake just a no thanks and that was that. Lots of loungers on the beach. Trinkets and dupes cheap in hotel shop. We didn’t go out but noticed a little market stall outside the complex. We payed on our inflatable pool floats, left lotions to the maid, Kept one room on for a charge, not a lot, as late check out, brilliant idea. Change money up at the airport before you get on your transport, KEEP your receipt if you need to change dinar back to ( in our case Stirling). NO receipt no changing back and you will lose your money. Receipts from hotel don’t work, ATM machine ones are ok, I got a mondo card especially as not to use my bank card, work absolutely fine . Airport is as all airports expensive, we did not buy any thing as we never had Time and most things were closed as it was a night flight. Security is tight think we went through about 3 or 4, lost count, but in my opinion safety is every thing . Overall a fabulous holiday that no one wanted to come home from, temp oct 17-27 was a lovely 28-30 degrees, evenings warm (no jacket or cardy )
