Loistava resortti!
Tulimme juuri takaisin kuherruskuukaudeltamme, jonka vietimme Dusitissa, mahtavat kaksi viikkoa.
Best stay in Huahin
super warmly welcome when checking in with welcome drink and fresh fruit in rooms. Beach front of the hotel is so relaxed and have so much space. My family stayed in the hotel for 4 days 3 nights without going out to the hotel. Four restaurants serve various kind of lunch/dinner. Highly recommend.
Best steaks in good location!
Normada best steaks I have eaten, good location at the beach, very friendly staff, if you want to try something special you should visit this restaurant. Especially for steak lovers a top recommandation! After eating enjoy the nice beach with a cold drink! A perfect experience!
The 'Grand Old Lady' of Hua Hin
This was our first stay in a Dusit Thani hotel. After almost 20 hours of travelling the warm welcome we received at the hotel was wonderful and we were escorted up to the Executive Club Reception on the seventh floor. First impressions of the hotel were that it was a quite old, but ‘grande’ style and at the time of our visit was undergoing an external painting programme. The room we were allocated was pretty much a standard room, both in size and décor but did have an amazing view of the hotel grounds and the sea beyond. I would call the room style ‘classic’ more than ‘modern’, but room and bathroom were perfectly adequate. After such a long journey to reach Hua Hin, we decided to have a short rest before the complimentary pre-dinner drinks & snacks (Happy Hour) in the Club Lounge at 1730. After pulling back the top cover (quilt) on the large King-sized bed, we were a bit shocked (and disappointed) to find several long black human hairs under the bed’s top-sheet – but clearly visible. This was definitely not expected (or acceptable) in any hotel room, but especially in an Executive Club room. A call to the hotel ‘call centre’ saw a hotel housekeeper arrive very quickly and she pulled back the top sheet, removed the hair and put the sheet back into place. After she had left and we attempted again to lie on the bed for a much-needed rest, we were extremely disappointed to see, yet even more of these long black hairs under the sheet. This time we called the Executive Club reception and a member of the Executive Club staff turned up along with the housekeeper again. The Club Floor staff did appear to be as shocked as we were, at what we had found - and this time the bed sheets and mattress topper were changed for clean items. Perhaps this should have been done on the first visit from the housekeeper? Notwithstanding this little incident, the remainder of the stay was lovely and the facilities of the hotel (and Club Floor guest privileges) made it an enjoyable stay. The huge swimming pool and hotel spa were very welcome activities, and the complimentary hotel shuttle bus into the town centre was very useful as the hotel is a bit remote from any other local facilities. The Executive Club lounge was a nice place to unwind and the complimentary ‘Happy (2) Hours’ each day were welcome and enjoyable with very attentive and professional staff looking after everyone. Breakfast seating was provided to Club Lounge guests in a separate area of the hotel main dining room, however the buffet style breakfast was a ‘help yourself’ affair (for ALL hotel guests) in the main dining room and every day was extremely busy at breakfast times. Good to see the hotel is so busy and full of guests, but not so good for all those guests all wanting to get to the servery at the same time. In summary: a large fairly old, but grand hotel. Excellent staff and facilities (apart from the bedsheets incident) and be prepared for lots of people in the dining room at breakfast time.
Always in my mind.
Always my top choice when I stay in Cha-Am area as the resort is spacious and has just been renovated to a classic style. Breakfast and dinner are good quality and reasonable price. Service from all staffs are very nice and friendly. I will definitely come back again.
