Tulimme juuri takaisin kuherruskuukaudeltamme, jonka vietimme Dusitissa, mahtavat kaksi viikkoa. Huoneessamme meitä tervehti shampanja, kukat ja suklaat. Huoneeseeni myös toimitettiin syntymäpäivänäni kakku. Päivitimme klubiin ja se oli todellakin rahan arvoista, naposteltavaa pitkin päivää ja illalla tarjoiltiin brändättyjä drinkkejä. Hotelli on aivan Hua Hinin ulkopuolella ja se tarjoaa bussin kaupunkiin / sieltä takaisin joka tunti, ilmaiseksi jos olet klubin jäsen, muuten 100 bahtia. Resortin alue on todella kaunista ja siellä oli kaikki mitä mahtavan ajan viettäminen tarvitsee. Koko hotellin henkilökunta oli loistavaa ja he tekivät kaikkensa auttaakseen meitä vierailumme aikana.
Excellent sea side resort experience
Dushit Thani Hua Hin is a fantastic hotel. The beautiful hotel lobby leads to a tremendous water body, full of fishes and three very beautiful pools. The rooms are very good. Bathroom is super cool. The view of the sea from the room is superb. Breakfast spread is great. Food is great too. The most important thing is the resort is on the beach and very calm and quite place. If anyone wants to enjoy the sea beach, taking sunbath and just relax for a few days - it is the best place. I would recommend this hotel to Indian tourists to experience world class hospitality at an affordable price. Restaurant staff are fantastic. Although there is a problem with their English speaking ability, they know the pulse of the guests. Only let down was we had to wait for 6 hours to check in as we arrived at the hotel at 8 AM due to an overnight journey. Hotel check in time is 3 PM. Although the front office manager tried very hard to accommodate us quickly but due to non availability of our room category they couldn't. My 7 years old son enjoyed the kid swimming pool and the gym mostly. Very good experience. I would like to thank all the f&b, front office and housekeeping staff of the hotel.
The location of the hotel is great, with a long beachfront that provides stunning views. However, I have to say that the hotel is a bit old and could use some maintenance work to improve its condition. The sleeping room was clean and comfortable, but there was only one plug on the headboard for two people, which was inconvenient since we couldn't charge our phones at the same time. The restroom was spacious with a separate bathtub and shower, but the shower room lacked a rain shower, and the hand shower head was quite old and released an inconsistent amount of water. Additionally, the water temperature was not stable. There were no price lists available for snacks in the minibar. Guests had to scan a QR code to see the price list, which was located on a table away from the minibar. In terms of the pool, there were no towels available at the garden pool, and we had to get them from the main pool. The corridor lighting leading the room was too bright, especially when the walkway from the lobby to the elevator hall was dimmer. Moreover, one of the doormen was unable to answer a simple question about where the fitness center was. The breakfast was overcrowded, and there were queues for entering the breakfast room. It was difficult to collect food as the buffet lines were too packed. The staff should inform guests to avoid peak times for breakfast so that they can manage the situation better. It would be great if the hotel could expand the buffet line to create more space between the food lines. Other areas that require improvement include the check-in procedure, which was not smooth. The front office asked me to pay THB 300 extra per person as they explained the booking made via trip.com was only for one person, despite my booking being for two people. However, after I showed the reservation and forwarded the confirmation from TRIP.com to their email, I did not have to pay the extra fee. It would have been better if the hotel had checked the reservation more carefully before asking their guests for confirmation, as this created a bad first impression. Finally, I forgot my phone charger at the hotel and contacted them to check if it was found. While the hotel did offer to post the charger back to me with a charge of THB100. I would have appreciated a call from the hotel as soon as it was found, as I was still in the area and could have returned to the hotel to collect it before going further away. I am not sure why they kept my phone number if it was not used in such cases. On a positive note, the hotel's restaurant, Nómada, was exceptional. The food was great and delicious, and the cocktails were good too. The staff was attentive and provided excellent service. However, this positive experience was overshadowed by the issues mentioned above. Overall, while the Dusit Thani Hotel has a reputation for exceptional service and being a well-established hotel in Hua Hin, I did not experience that level of service during my stay. The issues mentioned above did detract from my overall experience, and I hope the hotel can take steps to improve and address these concerns for future guests.
As good as ever
I have been coming to this hotel for many years and it is still my favourite hotel in the world. There have been a few changes over the years, but one thing stays the same, the wonderful staff. Despite a lot of new faces since I first started coming, the same high standards have been maintained. There was an Indian wedding taking place in the hotel whilst I was here, but such was the organisation of the event that it did not impact on the other guests. I shall be returning again in July for a 'big birthday' and look forward to another wonderful stay. Thank you Dusit Thani.
Visit here first time and we have great time here
We spent a night for aniversary celebration here. The room ( Club Ocean View) is very nice view, facing directly with the beachfront. The staffs are helpful and friendly. I had dinner with the buffet course at the hotel, it's yummy. I forgot my selfie stick and contact the staff after left the hotel. They helped to deliver it to my home. Only one thing that I would concern, the breakfast at Nómada has a little choice, compare with the normal. We didn't ask for the details before choosing. We have visit the spa, it is also good experience. Overall, we will definitely come back again.
