Hyvä hotelli lähellä hyvää uimarantaa.

Oikein mukava ja rauhallinen hotelli lähellä rantaa. Palveluita oli runsaasti tarjolla, mm. spa-osaltolla, jossa kävin kaksi kertaa, erityis kiitokset Katerinalle todella hyvästä ja ammattitaitoisesta hieronnasta. Ruokailussa meillä oli täysihoito, joten nälkä ei päässyt yllättämään ja tarjontaa oli kyllä riittävästi jokaiseen makuun. Henkilökunta oli ammattitaitoista ja palvelu oli kiitettävää, vaikka pitkiä työpäiviä joutuvat tekemään. Siivoojat olivat tosi mukavia ja yllättivät meidät useasti hienosti tehdyillä pyyhejoutsenilla, heistä tuli meille Facebook kavereitakin ja monet naurut ja yhteiskuvat otettiin, vaikka kielimuuri hieman vaikeutti kommunikointia. Täysihoitoon ei kuulunut ruokajuomat, joten 2-viikon ruokajuomat voivat yllättää poislähtiessä, jos juomat ottaa huonelaskuun, myös vesi oli maksullista pullovettä.

Erinomainen hotelli Hersonissoksella !

Hotelli sijaitsee rauhallisella, mutta silti lyhyen kävelymatkan etäisyydellä rannasta, satamasta ja ostosmahdollisuuksista. Lähistöllä oli lisäksi mahdolisuus mm. pelata tennistä ja minigolfia. Majoituimme hotellin uudempaan osaan, mistä oli allasnäkymä. Henkilökunta hotellissa oli todella ystävällistä ja palveluhenkistä ! Ruoka oli maukasta, päivittäin oli tarjolla monipuolisesti sekä kreikkalaisia perinteisiä ruokia että vaihtuvia teemoja. Hotellilla oli myös erilaista ohjelmaa mm. elävää musiikkia, lasten ohjelmaa, allasjumppaa sekä kokkaus- ja viiniopastusta. Hotellin yhteydessä on spa, jossa oli tarjolla erilaisia hoitoja. Hotellia voi ehdottomasti suositella hyvän sijainnin ja monipuolisten palveluiden puolesta, pieninä puutteina voisi toivoa parempaa ilmaista wifi- verkkoa sekä lisää rantapetejä altaalle, koska allasalue oli todella suosittu ja petejä ei ollut aina tarjolla riittävästi.

Erittäin kiva hotelli, hyvä ruoka ja hyvä palvelu!

Olimme täällä koko perheen kanssa kesällä 2016 ja tämä hotelli oli todella kiva paikka. Aamiais ja illallis-buffetit olivat hyvät, runsaasti valikoimaa, paljon todella terveellisiä paikallisia ruokia ja vihanneksia, sekä hyviä jälkiruokia! Palvelu oli ystävällistä. Joissakin paikoissa hotelli käytti 5 tähden luokitusta, jossakin se on 4 tähden. Hotellihuone oli riittävän iso perhehuone parvekkeella. Ihan 5 tähden hotellin huonearvioon se ei ehkä yllä mutta oli ihan mukava ja tosiaan riittävän tilava. Kokonaisuutena tämä oli erinomainen kokemus! Kannattaa vuokrata auto koko loman ajaksi ja käydä tutustumassa eri paikkoihin Kreetalla!

Rude staff no way a 4 star!

Cons Arrived at midnight with the hotel in darkness apart from the reception light. Was taken to our room (standard room) by the security man who was very helpful and explained everything about the rooms. The room overlooked a noisy small hotel and a car rental place. There was arguments being heard and loud music through the night from the other hotel manos Maria hotel. At 7am the car rental man top of his voice having conversations and shouting!! I asked the receptionist next morning if I could move rooms to somewhere quiet she said I have to pay €300 euros to change rooms. This wasn’t affordable so I had 2 weeks of sleepless nights and headaches! During the nights, alarms kept going off. People smoking in the rooms setting the alarms off. Doors slamming! And suit cases getting wheeled on the concrete paved floor in the hallway, which echos. The standard rooms are very tired and undated with the wardrobes so high to reach the pole. Had to ask for a stool to reach. I’m 5ft 3. The tv has only one English Channel ( BBC world news) rest of the channels is in German, Japanese and French. The telephone didn’t work had a dead tone, couldn’t call reception. The standard rooms has showers with two sliding doors with a nice power shower. The restaurant staff mostly rude especially Maria and the mangeress! They push you to buy wine or beer even when you say no! The manageress can’t handle complaints and she shouts and humiliates you in front of everyone! Was accused for not staying in the hotel when I was and paid for half board. Had to show proof! Only because I didn’t buy a drink with my dinner. Manageress was screaming at me and my family Embarrassing! The food was cold. Bread was hard and stale. The restaurant staff caused an unwelcome atmosphere and seemed so fast paced and rushed. Didn’t feel relaxed. My dad recently had a heart operation, and as I surprise I took him away, and the stress of the restaurant did not help him with the arguments and upset they caused. Not acceptable way we was treated. In my second week a conference group approx 100 people turned up and they had priority over everyone. The best rooms, front row entertainment and the food! They had a Cretan night on a Monday, I was invited to get up and dance and I was kicked out with the conference lot being drunk and silly. They just took over peoples enjoyment!! Cuban entertainment never happened. Piano guy was good highly recommended. The swimming pool is freezing. Icy cold. The video shows this hotel is posh, luxury , fine dining. It’s the totally opposite. Don’t expect anything glamourous. Pros: The staff in the cocktail bar are very hard working, and polite. They made you feel welcome and always went the extra mile to make sure everything was okay. They provided peanuts, crisps or fruit platter when you buy a drink. We brought lunch at this bar, which tasted better than the dinner being served plus it was hot. Reasonable price too. They have 2x pool tables which cost 2 euros to play. The hotel is in a brilliant location. It’s very close to a beautiful harbor, shops , supermarkets, bars and restaurants. A train stops outside the harbor which is great half day trip out. They offer a 2 hour one and half a day. 2 hour one takes you mainly around the hotels you can hop on and hop off. The half day you stop at a lovely village and monastery. The beach is public and cost €10 for 2 sunbeds and umbrella. The sea has rocks and shoes is needed. I highly recommend a great restaurant called starlight. It oversees the harbour and prices are great. They do snacks too. There was always enough sunbeds around the pool no need to put the towels out early. And they was comfortable. Overall I would not call this hotel a 4 / 5 star, it’s more like a 2 star! I will come back to Crete for my 4th time but not at this hotel. The staff ruined it for us!

Our 9th stay there!

Like I have said in my previous reviews - this is our 2nd home :) With a reason. Location, building, rooms, cleanliness, personnel, pool area, services, food&drinks - max points! Just a hairdresser was closed with a label "closed today" but this "today" was the whole week.
