Quiet apartment at a good price

A quiet apartment at a good price, the rooms are large and clean (cleaned 6 times a week), there is a large pool and a smaller children's pool in the yard. The apartment hotel is located approx. 200-300 m up the hill from the capital, i.e. it is good to go down the city hill in the evening, but it is more difficult for children and older people, because the ascent is quite steep. The hotel is located in a quiet area, perhaps there is no car noise at night. There is no grocery store nearby, but it is located below in the city, while walking along the road towards the airport, there is a fruit and vegetable store about 100m away.

Worst hotel experience ever!

My friend and I went on a holiday trip to Greece and stayed at this hotel. It was an unpleasant experience! To start with it's a very rundown hotel and the interior is from the 1960s. Everything is outdated and the pictures on the web of this hotel is not accurate at all. When entering the hotel room, there's a smell from both the kitchenette area and from the bathroom. Talking about the bathroom, it's so disgusting and the smell from the floor drain is terrible. There's moisture damage and they've used plastic bags and tape to solve a leak problem with the toilet (see attached images). Also there's no sound treatment in the building, you'll hear the neighbors very clearly and you'll hear that old woman at the fron desk arguing with her housekeeping staff every single morning. You need to pay extra for an outdated AC €10/day which is overpriced! The service is 0 out of 100. The old woman at the front desk is 0% service minded, she's very loud, selfish and angry and doesn't care about her customers. Everything is outdated, that woman she doesn't even have a computer at this hotel, she's using a paper and pen for everything and wants cash only. She has an iPad though that she's use for playing jackpot games when sitting at her desk. There's no security at this hotel, the front door is open 24/7 and there's no security guards at all. The old woman is turning off the lights in the whole building including the corridors to the hotel rooms so when coming back in the evening, the building is pitch-black so it's hard to find where to put the key in the door to your room. Conclusion: I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay at this hotel!

Cozy and calm

Airy and cozy space. Beautiful view from or 2 floor balcony. Serene. Cleaning ladies kind and welcoming. Enjoyed the short walk from the buzy town up the hill. The hotel felt like home. Nice vegetation and pool.

Dirty room.

First of all, I would like to say something positive. The young lady in the reception was very friendly, helpful, polite and always with a smile. So a big plus for her. BUT We came late on a thursday night, went to our room with the luggage, and went to bed. We woke up the next morning, started to check out our room abit more, And it was very dirty. The kitchen, we had to clean everything in the cupboards, everything, the glasses, plates, knifes, it was not cleaned at all. It was a terrible smell from the cupboard. The glasses were so full of fatty stains. It was a very bad smell of sewage in the bathroom, when we took a shower, it was water all over the floor after. There was loose wires from the aircondition (dangerous to touch) and also wires in one of the cupboard. In on of the nightstand it was some coins and brochures from previous gests. So obviously not cleaned or checked often. One day we had an accident, we dropped a glass of pasta sauce on the floor, so it was glass everywhere. There was no broom or nothing to take it up with so we had to contact the staff. They were friendly enough to clean it up, but even 3 days later it was small bits of glass on the floor. I think it is sad, it is a nice looking hotel, and has a great potensial. But for us, to stay in a dirty filthy, smelly room kind of ruined it. Will not come back or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely quiet hotel

We choose this hotel because it was a little out of town.Very quiet at the top of a steep hill approx 10-15 mins. walk from the center.If your feeling lazy a taxi costs 6 euro which you get in the center opposite a large supermarket. The apartment was very clean and large.Large kitchen/dining room / lounge. Very good size bed and bathroom. Very nice large balcony over looking the pool which has plenty of sunbeds and umberellas situated in a lovely garden.Personal (who are only there til 15:00 were extemely pleasant and helpful can highly recommend Vergina hotel and Karpathos which is stunning 😊💕enjoy 😜👍
