Mahtava Kalymnos!

Oikein mukava hotelli. Ei ihan uusinta uutta mutta allas oli hyvä. Auringon otto paikkoja oli reilusti. Erityisesti henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä. Aamiainen ihan perus hyvä. Kokkelia, keitettyjä munia. Paahtoleipää, tuoretta leivän päälle. Leikkeet ja juustoa löytyi myös.

Nice little family hotel

Very cosy nice little hotel in walking distance from the restaurants and beach. The rooms with sea view had most amazing view to Telendos island. The hotel was like from the olden days (you need to leave the keys to the reception when going out), it was somehow funny and didn't matter really. The cleaning was ok, I just was hoping they would changed or washed the drinking glasses at least once during the stay. I asked if they had any gluten free toast for breakfast and they said I can buy it myself. Luckily I found some in supermarket but was thinking that if they had spent that 3 euros to get me some I would have been very happy. The pool was nice, you could always find a sunbed even if the pool area was small. The family who owned the hotel was present all the time, which was nice. Only you could tell that the season had been long and unfortunaltely some of the staff were a little bit tired and failed trying to hide the tiredness. But over all a very good stay and I enjoyed every minute!

Hospitality in a nutshell.

Nicholas and Maria plus all the family make you feel warmly welcome. They are the most polite and attentive people you could hope to meet and will do anything for you. Maria’s home cooking is to die for. The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel is about a 6-8 minute walk out of main Masouri which is excellent because it gives you privacy and the views are amazing. Parking for cars or scooters at the back of the hotel is ample. Although we don’t drink, we had a few cocktails on the second day and Nicholas makes some very tasty cocktails. The hotel is a 3-5 minute drive from more crags that we could throw our gear at. Breakfast was ample. We have agreed and promised to come back next year. One week was not enough. Thank you for your amazing hospitality.

Philoxenia epitomises hospitality

I have been visiting this lovely hotel since 2005 and selfishly have not wanted to review. But having enjoyed another wonderful visit, I realise the secret is well and truly out. Nick,Irini,Maria and Froscini are remarkable hosts, Maria's cooking is incredible, skills she has passed onto the girls. The location,the sunsets, the beach are terrific. I was so glad that most of the island has ridden out lockdown and seems to be thriving. Efharisto to everybody at Philoxenia.

The best hotel in the Greek islands

Had pleasure of staying here for friend’s birthday. Nikolas and his family treated us like royalty! Good, clean, spacious rooms with a sea view. Great pool, delicious breakfast and dinner. Great value
