Trevligt ställe med medgörlig, hjälpsam personal. Det är inte som namnet kanske antyder ett beach hotell men det gör inte så mycket. Tar kanske en kvart att gå till stranden och där är det underbart, många shack och bara att lägga sig i en solstol och bli väl omhändertagen. Det enda vi klagar lite på om man nu måste det är den enformiga frukosten som har lite att tillfredsställa en skandinav med. Rostat bröd med stekt ägg går ett tag men inte tre veckor. Bra rum med sköna sängar. Liten balkong men där sitter man inte så länge så helt ok. Många trevliga engelsmän som gästar hotellet, många återkommande sen flera år tillbaka. Poolområdet har få solsängar och ena sidan av poolen har alltid skugga.

Rooms are very clean although could do with a little updating, staff are very pleasant and helpful, one thing that does let it down is the breakfast, and was only one toaster for the whole hotel , got fed up with the queues waiting for a piece of toast so often went without. Location good

This is the sixth time we have visited the santiago beach resort the manager ranjit and staff can not do enough for you Walter and team are excellent nothing is to much trouble maintenence manager and team are excellent food is fresh cooked and good choice on menu rooms are cleaned everyday if you want we will return 2027

This hotel exceeded my expectations. We booked a cheap get away and I have always stayed in 4 star hotels. This could easy be 4 star. The main stand out was the food. Krishna the chef deserves a special mention. Nothing was too much. Lovely Goan curries and equally wonderful western food if that’s what you fancy. Breakfast simple but nice and some Indian options which we were pleased about as we wanted authentic local food. We were half board so we had either lunch or tea at hotel and eat oit for our other meal. Rooms exceeded my expectations too. We had a pool facing room With balcony. Very spacious, good air con, fresh bottled water always replaced in our fridge and cleaning standards very good. Waiting staff exceptionally friendly and good recommendations for what to do / see / eat and nice to chat to. Taxi easy to get and cheap. Just ask at reception. Nice medium sized pool. Didn’t have to pay for towels for sun loungers. They are brought out for you. Not many sun loungers but we always got one. Honestly no complaints. Vejay who runs jewellery shop very friendly too. Santiago Beach Resort

My husband and I stopped at the Santiago Beach Resort for three weeks in January 2026, this is our third visit!! Situated in a quiet location, but within a short walking distance of Baga Road. Rooms are large and airy with air-con and fan, cleaned every day. Plenty of bottled water with coffee/tea faciities. Staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Food is excellent. The stroll from the Santiago Hotel to the main road is a very pleasant experience, be warned it can take some time!! You have Max the tailor on the left, always happy to have a chat and an extremely proficient garment maker. On the right you have Jack the Jeweller, any type of jewellery you want Jack's your man. Definitely goes above and beyond expectations and very knowledgeable. Already booked for next year.
