Good, close to the airport, good food!
Almost every night there is a children’s disco and the entertainer, Jan, is so nice and funny. Once a week they did Flamenco dancing and at the end they sometimes invited people up. The breakfast in the mornings was delicious, they have options from donuts to omelettes, amazing! The rooms are nice and they have a gym, which is good if you want to go there during your holiday, there is also good resteraunts nearby and nice cafes spread along the beach. Lovely location and great stay! Also only a ten to fifteen minute drive from The Palma Airport!
Hotel were you've should stay
Verry clean and good hotel. Every day a clean room by the friendly cleaners. Breakfast was really good. Close to the beach and the boulevard. Tons of things to Explorer nearby. 3 swimmingpools, jaccuzzi, terras. All of that is very clean and nice.
This hotel was fantastic. Location was ideal very close to the beach with a direct bus (25) right outside which brought you straight to Palma city. It is close to Aqualand Waterpark (10 min taxi) and the Aquarium is only 5 mins by bus. The pool was nice and clean but was like a bath on account of the heat, so the indoor pool was the place to be if you wanted a proper cool down. The bar staff were excellent and very friendly, and the club sandwich out of the bar was fantastic with a cold pint! The food in the restaurant was decent for your typical buffet, always lots of choice. One minor thing is on the specials section where you get a choice of meat or fish, the chefs need to be more careful in 1. Cross contamination & 2. Making sure chicken is cooked! First night I had got the chicken special and mine was undercooked so I didn't eat it, the rest of the families was fine. Just a minor note is all. Lastly the rooms were perfect, great air con, great rain style shower. We had a ground floor apartment and the place was very quiet! Would I recommend this hotel? 100% yes.
Excellent place to be
Excellent location. Near the beach, not too noisy but quite a number of shops and restaurants nearby, near the airport and Palma... Good service, the rooms were also fine. You have a choice of the main pool area where it's busier, and a second pool area where it's much calmer inbetween the trees. The buffet is not spectacular, so I would recommend to try the local restaurants.
A family review!
A big family of 12 (6 adults & 6 children) honest review! I'm also 5 months pregnant and have two children aged between 7-9. Getting there - Not even a 10 min taxi ride! We used a minibus which was waiting at the airport there & back. He was brilliant and put on 'party lights' for our children. Reception - Team speak brilliant English and are very friendly. The hotel room is spotless, our maid worked very hard cleaning our room & providing fresh towels daily. The decor is lovely and size for the 4 of us worked brilliantly. Our 2 children had the bedroom whilst me and my husband slept in the living room. Our balcony had 3 chairs, a table and a drying rack which was very handy. We had a lovely view of the Terra restaurant and the square pool. We loved the shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc supplied. There was also a hairdryer but we used our own (it was so hot tbh we barely even used ours). The mattresses especially in the lounge were not very comfortable and sometimes our air-conditioning had a sewage smell to it but that seemed to get better after 5/6 days. Overall very happy with our room & our maids service. Nice and quiet each night too so perfect for families. Free complimentary bottle of water too which was a really lovely gesture. Nice table and chairs. A big TV. We LOVED the shower, pressure was amazing! The pools - the main pool was sooo warm my children loved it. We have never been to a hotel before where you can easily get a sunbed by 10am!!! That was wonderful!! Sun loungers were very comfortable and lots of umbrellas for shade. Lovely big trees overhang the pools (we're glad they're not cut down) but meant lots of debris. I was happy to scoop some up but the lifeguard told me off. However it was very noticeable the tiles on the pool were green - this was mentioned by one of our family members. The square pool water quality was so much better but it's much deeper. We enjoyed many hours around the pool! You can pay to use the lounge beds, we didn't use. Indoor pool looked very clean too. Children can use lilos in the pool too! Food - We only had breakfast twice as we were self catering. 2 adults and 2 children (under 7s are free) came to €75 for 2 days. We wished we upgraded to breakfast but the shop nearby sells Pan au Chocolat plus we had cereals etc. Food in restaurant was lovely!! Loads to choose from, I loved the hash browns and fritattas! The head waiter at the entrance was very welcoming and friendly. The snack bar food is absolutely delicious! It's a little slow BUT the chef is working alone and she produces wonderful food. We ate here a few times and my children loved the ice cream selection. San Miguel on tap. I had a mocktail Pina colada and it was delicious! Entertainment - The entertainment team are brilliant with the children & work very hard. The kids disco was a little bit late in my opinion, could've been 8pm rather than 9pm. But the kids loved it! My children only attended 2 activities (we don't use kids clubs on holidays but they asked to do loom bands making and swimming lesson with Mummy which was BRILLIANT) but saw lots of happy children with their chef hats etc. Roof terrace - A must see! Wonderful views of playa de Palma and lots of seating. Location is absolutely brilliant. Not even a 5 min walk to the beach. The ice cream shop (Ciro I think) ran by an elderly man has absolutely delicious ice-cream. One scoop in a waffle cone €2! It's big and perfect if you've been out for dinner and need a little after dinner treat. Lots of restaurants nearby, kids loved El Patio for the playground. We had some wonderful meals out & prices range from cheap to pricey. It is very German orientated but everybody speaks English sooo well and food was lovely. Steer clear from the German party zone/stag zone if you have family as we saw young German drunk men peeing against walls in the street.. yuck. The beach - wonderful! Perfect for children as doesn't shelve quickly. €18 for 2 loungers and a parasol. Lots of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and if you walk a little further up you can buy tickets for aqualand etc. We didn't do that as it was very expensive. Checking out is 11am, couldn't keep our room as understandably the hotel is very busy but we could use the indoor pool for a shower. These were wonderful showers and given clean towels too which was lovely! Overall we were very happy with our stay! It's a really lovely hotel, hard working staff & is definitely a 4 star. We would definitely come back, next time as a family of 5 with a baby 😊
