Asuin täällä viikon ajan 1.4. alkaen täysihoitopohjalta, enkä suinkaan pettynyt hotelliin (johtaa suoraan uimarannalle). Koko henkilökunta oikein ystävällistä ja kohteliasta ja hyvin työteliästä, huone ylimmässä kerroksessa ja loistonäköala merelle ja ympäristöön. En ole samaa mieltä muiden arvostelijoiden kanssa huoneiden koosta, meistä ne olivat enemmän kuin riittävät ja siivottiin joka päivä. Paljon valinnanvaraa ruoka-aikoina ja, no niin, myönnettäköön, että pääruoat olisivat joskus voineet olla tarjoiltaessa lämpimämpiä. Muuten ainut huolenaihe oli, että liian vähän henkilökuntaa oli töissä viikonloppuna, kun sisään tulvi paljon vieraita. Paljon toimintaa tiettyihin aikoihin päivän mittaan, sen jälkeen minidisko lapsille ja bingoa iltayhdeksältä, jonka jälkeen illan huipennukseksi oli joko tanssia, kosketinsoittaja tai kitaristi/laulaja, mutta nämä oli pääosin suunnattu espanjalaisille asiakkaille. (Me lähdimme siinä vaiheessa pois.) Kauppoja ja baareja on kävelymatkan päässä hotellista, mutta kaikki eivät ole auki -- luulen että paikka lähtee kunnolla käyntiin vasta toukokuun alussa. Kuten sanottu, en ollut ollenkaan pettynyt hotelliin, mutta minun on pakko sanoa olleeni syvästi murheissani pääasiallisesti espanjalaisen asujaimiston käytöksestä. Koskaan ennen ei ole ollut valittamisen aihetta, mutta nämä ihmiset olivat ylimielisiä, jopa tylyjä, meluisia ja kimmastuivat pienimmästäkin syystä. Koskaan ennen en ole nähnyt kahden eläkeläismiehen käyvän käsikähmään sen jälkeen, kun he nähtävästi olivat törmänneet vahingossa toisiinsa kahvikoneelle jonottaessaan.

Terrible hotel!!!!

Don’t waste your money!!!! The hotel is old and the rooms need urgent renovation and are really small!! We saw people sleeping in the lobby because the hotel was overbooked which apparantly happens constantly! They were offered a crappy hotel which was full with cockroaches so they decided to come back to condesa to demand a room and ended up sleeping i. the lobby with kids and even a baby! Food is not bad but after 2 days it seems that you are the same stuff every day, salad bar is really disappointing. Even a fresh baked omelet in the morning simply isn’t there! Sky at looks great on the fotos but in real life it’s sad looking. For the money you can find a lot better places !

Our Stay at the Condesa

Hello, There was a party of 8 of us staying at the Condesa in Majorca. We all had a fabulous stay. The hotel has become a real treat since last time we visited. It was my nieces 19th Birthday when we were out there and the staff were so brilliant in organising it with decorations and a cake. A special thanks goes to Salah who went out of his way to make sure we were all very much looked after. It made it special. We won't hesitate to go back in the future! Anthony

Disappointed

Rooms very basic, not much storage for clothes. No fridge or tea making facilities. We had wardrobe , no doors on it and room was small. We were on 8th floor so had good view of harbour. Pool was small for size of hotel and was normally full of screaming kids. For size of hotel you'd of thought it would be bigger. Only 2 lifts and you waited ages for them to arrive, when they did arrive if you had more than 3 people in the alarm would go off as overloaded. Food was always cold , you had to use microwave to warm it up. Only hotel I've ever been to were you've had to do that. We ended up eating out most nights. I won't be returning here until things improve. Food choice was limited and always over cooked. Same thing every day. Avoid if possible

Lovely stay, would recommend to others

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Condesa. Stayed for 5 nights, and although there were some things that could be improved, all in all the stay was lovely. The food was always fresh, varied and constantly replenished. As a vegetarian, there were multiple options for each meal of the day that were all labelled nicely. Lovely fresh salad bar everyday, and nice selection of desserts. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help people. Staff in the dining room worked at a mega speed to make sure that tables were clean and ready for the constant flow of guests, staff behind the bar were friendly and always made a lovely (and very strong drink). We had a lovely experience checking in, unsure on the ladies name, but after seeing multiple bad reviews regarding her I was surprised at how pleasant and friendly she was. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were great. Wish I could take them home with me. The pool always had beds available around it. Had to rent towels at start of trip but this was not a problem, and it meant we had fresh towels everyday. Shop within the hotel that had all of the necessities. Roof bar, although closed, was lovely for the views and quiet from the rest of the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located, right on the beach, and 2 minutes away from a bus stop with regular buses. Took a trip to the old town and Palma, which were great ways to spend the day. In terms of improvement, rooms were slightly outdated but feel this is also relatable to many European hotels. The entertainment was mostly aimed at children, which was fine on the most part but would have been nice to have some more adult orientated activities on offer. Although I am aware this is a family friendly hotel, it would have been nice to have the opportunity for some adult only entertainment/dining/locations. It was difficult to enjoy our meals fully or our relaxed days by the pool without the constant screaming of children. I understand that children will be children, and this is normal for them, however it did really impact things and they were typically left unmanaged by their families and left to their own devices. During evening entertainment, children were left to scream, shout, and climb all over the furniture and staff whilst their parents got drunk and ignored the responsibilities, handing it over to the unfortunate children’s entertainers. Although this is not the direct fault of the hotel, there was nothing done to manage these situations. With all of this in mind, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others but would make them aware of the improvements needed.
