Excellent stay

Highly recommend! We stayed late May as a family of 5 (5 year old, 3 year old and 3 month old). The apartments were fantastic, clean, spacious, excellent facilities with a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the beach club was a massive plus. Some reviews (as always) raised questions however it’s an excellent place to stay. It was quiet and mainly locals in the area which we liked, public transport is excellent if you want more but I would highly recommend. Excellent value for money. Thank you for an amazing stay

Fantastic wee find for a celebration break with friends

The complex was immaculate, nice size and good facilities. We booked a 3 bed ocean view apartment so we never used the rooftop pool. We had intended to use the Beach Club on a day we had free entry but in the end loved our apartment and pool so much we stayed there. The apartment had 7 of us in it and there was plenty room. we even had a wee rooftop terrace. Our booking included breakfast and some or all of us ate every morning. There was plenty choice of cooked food, bread, pastries, cheese and meats etc. We stocked up at the on site shop for toiletries, snacks and drink for the apartment. Reviews I read said it was reasonably priced. We found it on the expensive side but still easier than venturing out elsewhere for the sake of a few euros. Diana on reception was wonderful and helped us out with where to eat - we would share her recommendation of Planet Steakhouse in Puerto Rico - great food, great staff and great pricing. The apartments are a 10 min taxi ride away from both Puerto Rico and Maspalomas. I read many reviews about there being nothing around the apartments but that wasn’t something that was an issue for us. Though the whole purpose of our holiday was to sunbathe by the pool by day and venture out at night. Cordial Santa Agueda ticked all the boxes and will be the first place we consider when booking the next girls holiday.

Friendly staff & great accommodations for our extended stay

The deluxe villas at Cordial Santa Agueda were really spacious and comfortable. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths were separated by an inner courtyard, so it gave each couple privacy while still having a common indoor and outdoor space to gather. The full kitchen and washer / dryer were perfect for our extended stay. The well stocked and reasonably priced Spar store in the complex allowed us to make our own breakfasts as needed. I appreciated the location because it seemed quieter and more local than some of the other areas of the island. Fishing town Arguineguin was only a short walk away, and for me I was happier to be near a cement factory than another big resort. We especially appreciate Diego at the front desk who was always friendly and helpful in accommodating complicated room and housekeeping requests. I highly recommend Cordial Santa Agueda!

Rooms are lovely modern complex all round. In the middle of nowhere maybe a little bit skechy as you enter the resort we arrived 10.30pm nowhere was open no shops around either. Would of been nice to have maybe a bottle of water on arrival or something in your room after the travel. Perchel beach club lovely splash park is ideal for little ones but is behind the main pool and behind the toilets. Food at sushi bar is lovely also does kids chicken nuggets sausage and fries too which is ideal. Service sometimes a little slow but overall not too bad. We’ve enjoyed our 7 day stay here bit disappointing that even as a guest you have to book and pay the beach club on a weekend to use but it is free Monday to Friday to use for guests so it does get quite busy id advise to pre book so you get a space. Don’t bring floats and don’t buy them in the shop you can’t use them in the infinity pool or the beach club so to me pointless selling them in the on site shop when there is no we’re else to use them around the complex other than your own pool if you book the deluxe room. Washer and dryers are situated in white sheds outside the rooms which again is ideal. Personally we wouldn’t stay again as once you’ve been and stayed you’ve done it and we like to travel all over the world so lots more places to see and go. I think 7 days is just enough for what’s around here. There also isn’t many places to eat in Arguineguín so we went Mas Palomas two nights Puerto Rico x1 night so we travelled by taxi every night to get most places takes around 20minutes most places.

Good and bad here.

So here is the good, apartment was clean , very modern and spacious. All areas around complex were clean safe and included a well stocked supermarket and relaxing cafe. The beach club was great 100 percent quality in terms of comfort and swimming pool. So for the BAD negative part of this review. Two members of staff who just must have skipped charm school, one male and one female, I don’t have to quote names here but when their rudeness was mentioned at reception the delightful helpful well mannered staff literally threw there arms in the air and said they hear this all the time and we’re embarrassed by these colleagues.
