Great hotel, but not 5 star worthy.
The check in desk staff were very helpful and friendly, we did notice there were welcome drinks on arrival but we wasn't offered one though :( Room - we stayed on the 4th floor, facing the right side of the resort, so overlooking other hotels, but we had a beach view also. The room was very nice and spacious, bed was soft (memory foam), plenty of storage space, nice cold air con and a decent size bathroom. The fridge was stocked daily with beer, coke/fanta and water and you also get a Nespresso machine. Biggest complaint was the walk in shower, the whole bathroom floor was flat and same level so when you showered the whole bathroom got flooded, to delay the flooding you had to put a bath towel on the edge of the shower. Bars - During our stay we mainly drank in the Lobby bar as we found the service a lot better there, the sports bar was ok but some of the staff couldn't be bothered. We found the service better if you tipped, but only certain staff went the extra mile for you. The drink selections were very good, and nice portions on the spirits too. If I had to make one suggestion it would be the lobby bar balconies, make them automatic or keep them open as it was very awkward to get onto balcony if you had 2 or more drinks on you, also remove the seats from the main bar areas as people sit there and when it is busy it was difficult to get to the bar to get served. Buffet restaurant - We hardly went for breakfast as it was the busiest meal of the day and the restaurant was always crowded making it uncomfortable to sit down and enjoy your food. The food selections during the Lunch and evening Dinner were fairly similar but you could always find something you liked from the selection. I personally thought the majority of the food was bland and didn't have much flavour, but my partner thought the food was good. The buffet restaurant gets warm too, and many mosquitoes come in from the outside eating area. Snack bar - the snack bar is basic but good, and is a good option if you miss breakfast or lunch, or just want a snack throughout the day. The chicken wraps on the lunch time are especially tasty, probably my favourite thing to eat there. You also get a night snack bar on the 1st floor, with a nice selection of fresh baguettes, salads, cakes and breakfast pots (over night oats, fruit, etc..). A La Carte - there are 3 of these advertised, however, during our 2 week stay only 2 of them were open. To book these you have to speak to the staff in the buffet restaurant. We tried both whilst we were, and although the service was rather slow, the food was very tasty and much better quality than the buffet restaurant. It is definitely worth asking for the wine list too as they sell a nice selection of wine, which we purchased both times. The wine on the all inclusive is horrible so I would not recommend that. Entertainment - this was probably the biggest let down for us, there wasn't really much entertainment going on. During the day and early evening they play music, which was usually the same stuff every day and then around 9pm they have a show of some kind but overall we found the entertainment rather boring, most of the entertainment was more for children which was no good for us, by 10pm there is no entertainment or music, the sports bar closes at 10pm on the dot and the hotel goes quiet. Pools - During our stay we never went in the main outside pool as it was always busy, so we went to the indoor pool in the spa area which was usually quiet, some times we were the only 2 in there which was great. Most of the staff were friendly, the hotel was always very clean and the cleaners do a fantastic job throughout the whole resort. The hotel also have their own taxi service which we used a few times, the drivers are great and cars are clean and comfortable, good prices too. We had a few trips out to the beautiful old town of Nessebar for shopping and wine testing, went to Sunny Beach once and also visited Khans Tent which is a must do as it was a very fun show. Overall we had a good stay, and would probably come back, just not for 2 weeks.
Wow wow wow
We arrived and greeted with a smile and a drink . Check in was faultless and we were soon in our amazing room overlooking the pool . We were so excited to go and explore the surroundings and obviously stopped off at a bar for a drink . Staff all friendly and good English . We were lucky to stay for 11 nights and had beautiful weather , apart from last day which rained , so spent done time in the indoor pool . Food was outstanding from breakfast to evening meal . We went to 2 a la cartes and was simply wowed by the quality . A big shout out to reception staff who helped me out with a little issue I encountered . Our room was amazing with a huge terrace overlooking pool and sea , ideal for an evening drink before going out for the evening . I could go on for ever as we loved our time from the minute we arrived until we left .
Incredible and very stylish hotel
It is an incredible and very stylish hotel with spacious comfortable rooms in a fashionable interior, polite and attentive staff, rich variety of dishes, amazing entertainment programs. We were extremely impressed with how clean, green and maintained all the areas were. There are a lot of sunbeds near the pools and you could always find a place. Everything is very thought out and comfortable. A La carte restaurant offers delicious meals, the selection of cocktails in the bars is simply incredible. We had an amazing holiday in Voya and definitely recommend it.
Otlichno - EXCELLENT
Great service, excellent facilities, tremendous food variety, responsive staff. Extremely clean. Food availability twenty four hours. Bar areas great. Five stars all the way. Martin and Tatyana are most helpful. Super spot.
Amazing place
We travelled here in the summer holidays (UK) so we did expect this to be busy which it was. First impressions was really good staff on reception where helpful welcome drink (help your self on the side) Room- amazing clean & tidy comfy beds and suitable bed for a child. Spacious rooms with coffee machine and fridge filled up. Bathroom had shampoo & shower gel (which was empty) air con was ok not the best we was in the main time of the summer. We had a garden view - this was certainly not a garden view no garden in sight we had it over looking some one apartment. We asked to change rooms and they said the hotel was fully booked they weren’t very helpful about this. Cleaners- massively needs improved beds where not changed once during the stay they come in and out so quickly and then sit on the floor in the corridor (seen a number of occasions) towels was replaced daily if you left them in the shower. Fridge wasn’t always re stocked either. Food- we always found something to eat and would generally rate the food 10/10 the choice and selection and taste was the best we have had. If you have babies they cater with formula & baby food which we thought was an amazing touch. Snack bar was good apart from burgers were always cold (only downfall) waffles were really nice. Lovely outside seating area to eat during the day and a lovely bar to enjoy some time out of the sun. Night time was always busy and could never get a table no matter what time we went and always ended up in the snack bar which was ok as it was quieter anyway. We had the la carte one night and we walked out! This was the worst part of the holiday the staff where so rude food wasn’t nice. Loads of staff about they were bringing meals out whilst other people were eating starters so the food was cold. The service was shocking we left half way through and went to the main buffet instead and then a hour later we noticed the table at the la carte was still left with food on and the restaurant was so quiet the staff just stood around. We didn’t use any of the kids clubs but our kids loved the slides and the main pool no faults here. Sun beds are limited when we was there and very tight spaces if you hit a side where the sun comes out your stuck in that space all day as you can’t really move your sun bed around as the isn’t umbrellas. We found people taken beds and never coming back all day. Clean around the pool staff constantly cleaning up. They never looked happy but each to the own. Entertainment wasn’t very good for a 5 star and to sit on a brick wall was horrible not very suitable with people with prams / wheelchairs ect for the size of the hotel the entertainment does not cater enough for it. The bar outside closers at 11pm every night and kicks every one out you can go in the lobby but we felt this could be extended to even let you sit in there longer people where playing games/ cards and then had to move inside. Bit early for the summer. 24 hour snack room was good specially for kids they had sweets cakes / milkshakes we used this a few times and loved this. Over all would i recommend? Yes 100 percent although a few issues only minor and no where is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and would look to return again.
