We had a great week of relaxation and kids has fun
We are just back from going the end of May beginning of June. Amazing Hotel- Food was fab, especially the hot doughnuts from the pool bar at 10am everyday, beds were comfy and shower had amazing pressure. Sister hotels and various other things didn’t open until the first of June (even the air con) Kids took full advantage of the water slides and unlimited ice creams. Seagulls came with a warning, they WILL steal your food and are Very noisy. Also lots of jelly fish in the sea which cut snorkelling short. Beach and Pool loungers were comfy and sturdy and fab towel service.
Great time recommended
This hotel I would recommend. Very family friendly. Lots of English holiday makers . Just a bus ride away from sunny beach and nessabar old town. Entertainment every day and night. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious . The food is good and drinks selection is also good . A proper all inclusive nothing to pay for and food served all day as well as ice cream, pizza etc . Only down side is there could be more Entertainment during the day instead of one thing going on at a time . Few things going on would be better . Otherwise great experience. I would return .
Good but visit in season!
Note: When i booked our family trip to Bulgaria, it was based on the average temp being 23c in May. However what i have learn’t since being here is that May is one of their wettest months and their season doesn’t really start until June. Not the hotels fault but something to consider. Good: The hotel is very good value, we had a spacious apartment room on the 7th floor overlooking both the pool and sea. The beds are also the comfiest i have found in a hotel abroad. The pool area is very spacious with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas, we didn’t have to wake early just to reserve a sun lounger. The food is very nice, we managed to find something we liked every night, they don’t do themed meals they do a selection of everything which worked well for us. The drink selection round the various bars were good and all done through a preset machine so the measures are ideal. In the evenings they offer a variety of professional shows. The hotel has direct access to the beach, they also have a designated area on the beach, this wasn’t open when we came so didn’t get to use, but looked nice enough. Instead we visited Cactus beach (the next beach along from the one the hotel leads to) which had lovely clear sand and still water. Not so Good: The rooms do not have air conditioning they have a very noisy fan system which doesn’t do a huge amount of cooling, with the room we stayed in the fan unit was in the living room area and small bedroom only, the main bedroom didn’t have anything. We found we had to prop the balcony door open to get some cooler air. Being the main hotel with access to the sister hotels we were able to use the other pools but noticed there only seemed to be outdoor toilets in the far corner of the main pool. There are also alot of stalking seagulls around be prepared to lose your food and get pooped on! As we came out of season the other restaurants available were not open so we only had the main restaurant at meals time. At lunch the pool bar only did Pizza and Chips although pizza was very nice. We had 2 days where it rained all day, these felt long as there isn’t a huge amount to do, they have games rooms that get busy in wet weather, an indoor pool which is great but cramped when people take floats in, they also have a shop that done well selling uno! The daytime activity program seemed a bit sparse, i saw them do Archery or rifle shooting on the first day and water aerobics a few days later but not anything else, they didn’t really go around raising awareness on the activity they were doing and gathering people to join. Same with the mini club. The evening entertainment seemed to be on a weekly cycle so if staying for more than a week you will likely see the same shows again. Location: There isn’t a huge amount to do outside of the hotel, and alot of things were still closed during our visit. Old Town and Sunny beach are easy to get to, roughly 30 - 45 minute walk in a fairly straight line, 5 - 10 min taxi journey at 20lv or you can get the no. 10 bus from just down the road which cost 2lv per person. They offer a free shuttle outside the hotel, but again that starts from 15th June. To sum it all up, our holiday was good but we visited 2 weeks too early, and can only give a 4 star rating as alot of the facilities were not open.
Wonderful stay, recommend this hotel!
I stayed here for a week with a friend and loved the hotel. Very clean rooms, wonderful king size bed and great food. Close to the beach and a lot of fun activities to do at the hotel so you never have to get bored. The beach is also right in front of the hotel! You can also go to the old town of Nessebar which is close by so there's a lot to see there too. Overall a lovely experience and I will definitely go back!
