The beach is the main reason to stay at Hotel Delfini
Nice hotel, with a beautiful private beach. Contrary to most of the other hotels in Saranda, they don't play loud music at the beach, which we really enjoyed. The rooms are clean, but basic. I'd liked a little bit more smiles from the staff, but this might be a cultural thing, that im not used to. Furthermore, it would be nice to have a "do not disturb" sign for the door, so the cleaners dont come in while you're in the shower or so. We missed that during our one week at the hotel. Unfortunately we had problems with the airconditioning and the drain in the bathroom flooded very easily. The breakfast is ok, but very basic. I'd like some signs to each dish saying what it was. Furthermore the coffee at the breakfast buffet is down right awful. If you need a coffee with breakfast I'd recommend bringing an instant coffee and take boiling water from the buffet. The guy in charge of the buffet was honestly really awful at his job. He was on his phone the entire time, and did not notice when plates, cutlery, water etc ran out. I would advice the people in charge to talk to him about this. All in all; a nice hotel, with an amazing beach, with is the one thing really winning here. The beach is worth the basic breakfast and the missing signs on the doors ;)
I loved this place
We were here for one week and we are very happy with the experience! The room had the standard I expected and had also for ex a fridge and AC. The daily cleaning of the room was good and staff friendly. The day we came here one member of the staff showed us to the room and it was still not cleaned since the last residents. The staff looked horrified and started cleaning immidiately. We didn’t mind. I would have been more concerned if they didn’t care! The location of the hotel is GREAT; balconies with seaview, no pool but sunbeds right at the seashore and not for from the Saranda-central with restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel snackbar with refreshments is good too. I wouldn’t mind staying at this hotel again in the future!
Terrible experience
It is one of my worst experiences. I have traveled to many countries of the world and I have been to many hotels but I would not have recommended staying at the Dolphin Hotel to anyone. I was a few days ago at Hotel Delfini, I had booked a week stay, but I stayed only 2 days. Prices and hotel photos were different from those posted on booking. The rooms were very small, uncomfortable and with very old equipment. Breakfast was included in the price, but it was a very poor breakfast, only 2 eggs and a few sausages, there was very little choice. Very idiotic was the fact that I had to pay for sun beds and they were not included in the price of the hotel. The hotel owners stood at the reception and were very arrogant. When I asked him why it is not the same room I have seen in booking, in a harsh language they told me if you want to stay, or leave. They even kept all the money I had paid for a week's stay, despite the fact that I only stayed 2 days. The room where I stayed was not clean, I found some ants under the bed and the cleaner during the two days I stayed never came.
A good hotel with a potential to grow
We stayed at the hotel in Deluxe room for 3 nights. In general, this hotel is very nice among other different options in Saranda: a cleanup service worked unexpectedly well, breakfast (and the personal who serves it) was 5*. There were only two minuses. First one was the size of the room: I think Deluxe should be a little larger. Second one is major and important: reception was not quite polite (when we asked about refilling the soap dispenser, a manager spoke to us rudely without any hint of trying to solve everything silently, and finally the conflict was partially reduced by another receptionist, but it didn’t fix their reputation in my eyes). I think this hotel should pay more attention to the clients‘ needs. I wish I’d recommend this place, but for now I can’t: it still has some vital points to fix.
The Best hotel
Is the best hotel in saranda with a delicious work and everything is perfect view food servis and all of these together make it a paradise Place to spend the holidays in amazing view when you can enjoy the sun’s sunset 🌅
