Parhaita hotelleja missä on tullut koskaan yövyttyä.

Vietettiin viikko Anissa ja kokemus oli kauttaaltaan pelkkää luksusta. Henkilökunta oli nuorta, ystävällistä ja hymyilevää (ei sillain feikisti). Saatiin ylimmän kerroksen huone osittaisella merinäkymällä ja se näytti pohjapiirrosten perusteella isoimmalta hotellin huoneista. Näkymät partsilta olivat hienot. Aamupala oli suomalaisella srtandardilla mitattuna hyvää tasoa. Ekstrapojot erikseen tilattavista omeleteista ja letuista, jotka tehtiin haluamilla täytteillä. Tuntui että keittiö toteutti mitä kehtasi kysyä vaan. Toisinaan meillä oli yksityistarjoilu, koska aamupalalla oli harvoin edes 3-4 seuruetta yhtäaikaa. Tarjoilu oli aluksi tottumattomattomalle jopa hieman liian hyvää kun tarjoilija kävi kaatamassa mehutkin lasiin. Siivous toimi hyvin. Jonain päivänä huone oli iltapäivällä siivottuna vaikka aamulla unohdettiin "älä häiritse" ja ovessa oli viesti siivoojilta että skippaisivat sen kyseisenä päivänä. Allas, jacuzzi ja sauna jäivät kertakokeiluksi, sillä hotellilta ei rantaan pitkää matkaa ollut. Kuntosali, jolla oli uusia laitteita ajettavaksi jäi samasta syystä kokeilematta. Aamulla oli vaan paljon hienompaa hölkkäillä autiolla rannalla. Erityisesti poreamme oli melko luksus ja tila hieno. Ravintolat oli lähellä pienessä kylässä ja suosittelen ihan vierestä löytyviä Don Antoniota ja Jeziä. Samaten maininnan arvoisia ravintoloita kylässä olivat Hrpina ja Ivo. Hotellia voi suositella siistiä, modernia ja rauhallisella sijainnilla sijaitsevaa hotellia etsivälle. Erityisesti pariskunnat ovat kohderyhmää. Hinta on muita hotelleja korkeampi, mutta pienellä alennuksella löytynyt huone tarjosi hyvän vastineen rahalle.

Excellent Makarska boutique hotel

Small, intimate boutique style hotel in town with stunning mountain backdrop. Modern in design with cool deck and pool area. Only about 20 or so rooms, so opposite of large soulless chain hotels and was just perfect. Rooms a good size (we were in Superior double) and non smoking (aside from balcony) but note, not all have balconies. All furniture in rooms good quality, bed, pillows and duvets very comfortable (one duvet each person on a kingsize bed - great idea!) good size shower room with rainfall shower shampoo/gel/robes/slippers all supplied. Posiedon must have been miserable when we arrived as the weather we had was unusually poor for May, so also used sauna, gym and Jacuzzi a few times - very nice, again real quality kit. There is also a good sized car park (we did not use so unsure if guests pay ?) Hotel is in great location, close to beaches, walking paths and about a 10 minute walk to old town, which would be good in high season as town gets very busy it seems. Myriad of bars and restaurants close by, we tried a few and all pretty decent. The hotel staff were great, outstanding! The reception girls, the breakfast table staff, the room maids, all could not have done more to help within the hotel and good local knowledge. Will return for sure to hopefully see area in better weather! Thanks Again…

Perfect, from start to finish!

The hotel was modern, clean, well maintained, in a great location (5 mins walk to the beach, 15 to bars and restaurants. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They were all amazing. Always happy to see you, very welcoming and helpful. Nothing is any trouble and they will do what they can to make your stay as good as possible. We were upgraded upon arrival and given a complimentary drink too. WiFi was really good, never had any buffering or issues. Rooms were thoroughly cleaned when we went down to breakfast each day. Breakfast was freshly cooked eggs (however you like them) bacon, toast, with lots of pastries, fruit, cereal, etc too. The pool was well maintained and the gym has all the basics covered. Highly recommend this hotel, you will struggle to find a better place for the price anywhere.

Excellent hotel

Great hotel in Makarska, easy to reach by car. Own private secure parking, available with an extra fee and with prior reservation. Very warm, welcoming and helpful staff with excellent English language. They allowed us to store the bike securely inside the hotel. Rooms are big, clean and modern, beds are very comfortable (large double bed with 2 separate blankets which is a great plus and rare to find). Clean sheets and towels, nice set of toiletries, minibar and safe. Very effective and well designed air conditioning system, I was able for the first time to sleep with AC on without being disturbed. Effective soundproofing. Very good breakfast, both buffet and à la carte. Nice terrace with clean pool and free towels for sunbeds - very helpful as public beach is too small and too crowdy. There is also a sauna, jacuzzi and fitness room available for guests. I definitely recommend this hotel !

I have just returned home on 19 September after spending 2 weeks at the Ani hotel, Well what can I say. This is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. No sooner we had breakfast the room was clean and fresh linen so fresh on beds it was lovely so comfortable. We stayed in a superior room and it was very big plenty of room, what I would say is that next time I would not have a city view as it was noisy on the balcony from the main road.It did not bother us to much as we where out most of the time. Breakfast for me was 2 poached eggs on toast with mushrooms and tomatoes Matt who looked after us most of the time was lovely they go out of their way to give you what you want. He was very polite. when we came back from day out they always had our bucket of ice for drinks in our room and milk for my coffee I brought from home anything you ask for was given knife, fork, spoon, Iron, extra towel nothing is a problem. you are just a stones throw away from everything lots of places to eat drink sun bathe shops. It is the first time I have visited Croatia and I can't wait to go back I would definitely choose the Ani again. the only thing that I could complain about was a bit of a Hill I had to clime coming back to hotel as I have issues but they were short and I would do it again. If anyone reads this from Ani hotel we stayed in room 206a it could do with a couple of hooks behind bathroom door for robes and maybe one in bedroom area.
