We are actually at the hotel now. We arrived a couple of days ago. The place is stunning but unfortunately our first impression was the below par welcome when we arrived. We had had a long trip but were left to book in ourselves online, we were not even shown around. We booked a walk out into the pool room but unfortunately we were given one of the worst ones where we share the outside space with the neighbours and we have no view. The room is still lovely but not quite what we thought we were booking. The service at the pool bar is pretty slow but it is great everywhere else. We told the staff that the minibar fridge doesn’t get very cold but seem to have been ignored. Overall this place is wonderful and looks like paradise. Hopefully they can tweak a few things to make it perfect
This hotel is the definition of tranquility. The design is stunning - lots of wood, polished concrete and neutral tones - and I defy anyone to not feel relaxed here. We came here as a family of four with our two daughters in their late teens (it’s definitely not the place for younger children). We had two suites - one a swim-up and one above with a balcony. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and the beds are huge and incredibly comfortable. We stayed on a half board basis and although there are two other specialist restaurants you can pay extra to eat in, we didn’t feel the need to stray from the Omikron restaurant. Although it’s a buffet, it’s not like a buffet you’ll have had somewhere else - the food is amazing, varied and so fresh and there are also a la carte options that change daily. The brilliant restaurant team, including Anastasia, Thomas and Lily are so friendly and efficient - wonderful assets to the hotel. Lunch at the Cocoon bar (a gorgeous thatched, open sided and very chilled bar / restaurant / relaxing area surrounded by pools) is delicious but don’t forget this is a 5* hotel and the prices understandably reflect that. There are numerous nice touches - from the free poolside shoulder massages to the golf buggies that will give you a lift if you need it and the cellist playing at breakfast. I’d definitely recommend hiring a car for a couple of days and exploring this beautiful island - Tsilivi is the nearest town to Olea Suites but is very touristy and a complete contrast to this hotel, but drive a short distance and you’ll see what a lovely island this is. Thanks to manager Alex and his brilliant front desk team who will go out of their way to help and give advice about places to go, we had the most amazing 10 nights and left feeling incredibly relaxed. Worth noting that we went in July and were told the hotel wasn’t quite full - it never felt busy but that might change in August and September, which I believe is their busiest time.
Incredible Honeymoon Hotel & Destination
This place is incredible. The general vibe is very relaxed with nothing being too much trouble for any of the staff members. They're all incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. Would 100% recommend this hotel and stay here again.
We had a fantastic time in Olea. The environment, the architecture and the staff make the stay a dream vacation. The food at the Pacific restaurant was very good. The rooms were cleaned well. Also we were super helped to do activities outside the hotel. I would recommend the Olea hotel to everyone.
A tranquil oasis
Olea is amazing the design is beautiful with water surrounding the architecture and all the hard landscaping having greenery throughout. The Olea suite hotel is very much suited to adults not children it is really peaceful and relaxing The staff are excellent all really polite and helpful. We went on a B and B basis but ate in the hotel restaurants as well as going out for meals. The standard of the food was excellent- the food and drink is expensive but relative to a 5* hotel. Tsvili is around 10 mins walk down hill but is a steep walk back - but good local taxis!!! We visited the nearby beach but is quite busy! The better restaurants are to the west side of the town - the centre is very busy and not pretty. We would definitely recommend and revisit Olea and thoroughly recommend a boat trip around Keri to visit the Blue Caves stunning !!
