Amazing Resort

Stayed here for a short break middle of September and we’re lucky to have amazing weather. It was absolutely stunning. The welcome we got from the staff was great. Given a complimentary drink and shown around by John who was so enthusiastic about the place that made us so excited to stay. We booked a pool room and the pool was outstanding. Big enough to actually swim in! The whole outside area was spotlessly clean, there are two sun beds and a table and chairs in a shaded area. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The shower was also great. Good pressure and temperature. The room was spotlessly clean too and was made up daily. We stayed in room 21 which was right next to the pool and bar which was a bonus. The resort was pretty quiet so no hassle to use the main pool if wanted. Mike and Kayleigh were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay even more memorable. They were great fun. Mike was there day and night and always greeted you with a smile. Breakfast was a sit down affair and you could have anything you wanted from the menu or everything if that’s your thing. Was a nice change from the usual free for all buffet type. We had food from the pool bar menu once and it was amazing. The food is cooked to order and is really good. Great portion sizes and reasonably priced. The resort is two minutes away from the beach which has beautiful soft sand. There’s a good cafe on the way which offers a huge variety of foods. The main strip is about 10-15 minutes walk away depending how fast you walk and it has a variety of restaurants and bars. There are a number of hotels and restaurants along the same road as the resort and you are welcome to eat in most of them which is good. We wished we’d booked a longer break because we enjoyed it so much. Cannot wait to go back. It is quite expensive. But for a luxury treat you can’t beat it. We will be going back.

This place is absolutely amazing the place is immaculate

We were here for a week and could not fault it it is so peaceful the people could not be friendlier we had a room with a private pool but the main pool was quiet too. The breakfasts are the best we have ever had and all made fresh for us even the pool bar was not too expensive

Beautiful hotel and honeymoon

This place is lovely, made extra special by the fabulous staff that go the extra mile to make sure you have a superb stay. Many thanks to Mike, Kelli, Dennis & vassilli for all your help. We really enjoyed our week here with a private pool room which is well worth it it. Especially for cooling off after the sun. Thanks also to the chefs team for some really good food. And the attentive house keepers for keeping the room & towels spotless. Highly recommended.

Amazing Hotel, Great Holiday!

When you first arrive at the hotel you wonder what you’ve booked especially at night time as it wasn’t clear! I thought we were dropped off at the wrong hotel at the start however you check in at the sister hotel next door, The Golden Sun. Check in was great, pretty smooth! Champagne was brought to our room by Mike which was lovely and concierge brings your bags to the room. The room was spotless and we were blown away with the pool! Everything was just lovely! Couldn’t fault it! Breakfast was nice too! We had a lovely holiday, so thank you! The maids were lovely aswell! Weather was fantastic! The hotel is on the flight path however the planes aren’t often and with the doors shut to your room you can’t hear them in the mornings etc so sleep isn’t disturbed! Just a few slight things that bothered us, nothing major though - Our sink plug was stuck and we reported it to the reception at the sister hotel and it sounded like they didn’t believe us, so they sent a staff member over to check and then about 5 mins later another staff member arrived with the Maintenance man - I admit it was quick which was great, it’s just how they were at reception which I didn’t like. And another issue we had at reception was when we were waiting for our coach to pick us up a guy from reception came running and without saying please or anything like that he demanded not to open our cases in reception and told us to go back into the luggage room. Personally I don’t know what the issue was as it was a big enough room but a please or a thank you would have been nice! I’m also not sure how I feel about guests who paid less than us from the sister hotel are aloud to use our main pool. But apart from all that we had an amazing time thank you! Had no issues with the Golden Sun Resort and Spa - Kelly and Mike were amazing! We just a few issues with the sister hotel who you can’t avoid if you need help with the room etc etc!

Absolutely amazing hotel!!!

Absolutely amazing complex. We stayed in a room with a private pool which was way beyond what we expected!! You could actually swim in it!!! The terrace was so spacious with the largest, most comfiest loungers. Pure luxury. Room was pristine and looked after every day by 2 lovely ladies. Clean towels, bath robes and toiletries replenished when needed. There is also a fridge in the room which was a good size. The main pool is absolutely stunning with the most luxurious sunbeds we have ever used!!. All staff were equally as friendly and professional and were always there to greet you with a smile. The A la Carte breakfast was absolutely fabulous and you really could have anything you wanted. Everything was cooked to perfection. Lovely touch that the chef came out to introduce himself on your 1st day. Other meals we had were plentiful, priced well and delicious!! Location wise, Golden Sun is a 5 minute walk from an amazing beach and just 10 minutes stroll to the main strip with plenty of bars and wonderful restaurants. There is also a small shop on site which had everything you needed. I would 100% recommend this amazing hotel, you wouldn't be disappointed. We have already booked for next year!!!!
