Прекрасный отель! У нас была вилла со своим бассейном, удивило что бассейн был такой большой. Очень дружелюбный персонал, уборка была каждый день. Отель расположен близко к пляжу (~5 минут пешком). На территории отеля очень спокойная и расслабляющая атмосфера. Еще в отеле есть отличный Spa.

Perfect quiet week away

We stayed at this hotel in July 2023. We didn’t bother with airport transfers through our booking because it was so close to the airport, it was only a €20 taxi ride. Check in can be a bit confusing, you have to go to the sister hotel next to it on the right but we were promptly seen to, paid our entry tax and then walked over to our room by the reception staff. We staying in room 1 which is in the far right hand corner tucked away. The room was very well appointed with extra sunbed towels, bathrobes, slippers, fridge, safe, tv, and a very big bed. After a few minutes our luggage was brought to us as well as welcome drinks, and as we arrived on my fiancés birthday we were given a birthday cake as well, a very nice touch which was not pre-communicated to them and was done entirely off their own backs. Our room had its own pool and 2 sun beds, as well as a table and chairs outside. By the end of the week the pool did have quite a few leafs/branches in it that we fished out by hand but there was still some at the bottom of the pool we didn’t get. I think because we were so close to the trees that didn’t help, maybe could have done with a net in our garden area to fish these out, but oh well. The pool area was lovely, during our week stay we only saw about 3 other couples there during the day so there was never any issues with getting sun beds, and there are plenty of umbrellas around as well if you want some shade. The staff here are truly wonderful, Kelly at the pool bar, and Mike and Dennis in the restaurant. Breakfast is in the dining hall, you arrive and get to pick where you want to sit, and can order as much or as little as you like from the set menu. We regularly had pancakes and a fruit plate, but some other couples had about 5 different things. This is where the hotel seemed at its busiest. The pool bar is well stocked with beer on tap, wines, and spirits. We often got a few beers during the day which were lovely and cold and Kelly would come and check on us to see if we wanted any more. You can either pay for each purchase, set up a tab and pay at the end of the day, or charge it to the room and pay when you check out. We also got quite a few bowls of complementary nuts as well brought to our sun bed. The food served at the pool bar is also very good and is available most of the day. We regularly shared a pizza which was very good, and we also had a burg by er and bruschetta on other occasions. We didn’t go for lunch anywhere else because it was all reasonably priced and quick to arrive. In the evenings after our meal out we would come back to the bar and have a few drinks and a nice chat with Kelly telling us about her family and the island, she even let us sample some of the wines they had. We booked a spa treatment which is under the restaurant area and both got massages. Very friendly staff and one of the girls even started talking to me about the book I was reading. Overall it was just a fantastic stay with great staff and very relaxing. When we hired a quad bike from town for a few days Kelly was giving us recommendations of where to go, and found it very funny when we reported that we got lost on our first day. We have booked again and will be back in July 2024 for a quick pre-wedding get away.

Fabulous relaxing hotel

This is a really gorgeous hotel, we loved our stay. If you are looking for a chilled break this is the place for you! When you arrive, you use the sister hotel the Golden Sun for check-in etc but this section is adults only and feels very exclusive tucked away. We were staying end of September/early October so chose a room with a jacuzzi as thought the private pools might be a tad chilly towards the end of season. We know lots of other guests were using their private pools though. Personally I was glad to be up at the top level as you got a lovely view from the jacuzzi rooms and the main pool area is so lovely and very quiet anyway, it felt we had the best of both worlds. The breakfasts are lovely and you order a la carte, order as much as you like, bacon & eggs, pancakes etc. We had lovely fruit plates every day with proper fresh orange juice and delicious coffee. The dining room is very grand with chandeliers and marble floors. The rooms are modern and equipped with everything you need including towels for the pool, toiletries, hairdryer and bathrobes. Also a small fridge for drinks etc. Cleaning team do a fabulous job it was spotless every day. The spa area is free to access for guests, it’s very nice though being indoors we didn’t make use of the pool or facilities as the weather was so good. There is a little supermarket shop onsite as well for bits and pieces. You’re a very short walk to the beach, was great for an early morning walk. The pool area has a good bar for drinks (including frozen cocktails, iced coffees etc) and they also do food though I can’t comment as we didn’t eat any other meals here, but did see other guests eating and it all looked very nice. It’s really nice for an evening drink as well with a good cocktail menu. Short walk to the main area in Kalamaki with lots of bars and restaurants. Along the same road as the hotel there are also a couple of places to eat and drink if you didn’t want to go too far - try Delight Kitchen at the end of the road, family run and seemingly lots of repeat customers (they show the sports!) The airport cafe at the end of the road was also nice to have a bite to eat and watch the planes coming in. The hotel is on the flight path but we liked watching the planes come in to land - not at all disturbed by them. The staff are really an asset to the hotel. Mike & Kelly are super friendly and so hardworking. They can give you any travels tips or advice you need about the island. Mr Chef also very friendly. We hired a car for a few days and it was easy driving about to visit places. If you are considering this hotel for a relaxing break you won’t be disappointed! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful holiday.

We had an amazing 10 days holiday at this wonderful hotel. This is our first hotel holiday and the bar is now set! Our room, the private pool, the main pool, breakfast, the bar were all perfect. All the staff are so attentive and make sure that you are happy with everything. Infact we're going to rebook next year's holiday this weekend, we enjoyed it that much.

Absolutely Brilliant

Just returned to the UK First day back at work 😕 Have to say one of the best holidays I’ve had in The Greek islands The Golden Sun resort Kalamaki Zante so clean , the staff are so polite and a mine of information about the island My sincere thanks to Kelly , Mike and Breena could not do enough These guys went above and beyond,especially Kelly and Mike If you do visit this resort which I strongly advise you to do , I’m sure you will not need any introduction to these two you will guess who they are straight away there warmth , kindness, and customer focus shine through I’ll be back next year for sure Lovely resort, lovely staff See you next year Kelly Mike Breena 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 Alan Goulding
