Hôtel à fuir. On y a même pas mis les pieds que l’on est déjà déçu.

L’hôtel se permet d’annuler des réservations faites puis accepté pour d’autres dates puis de nouveau annule. Aucune crédibilité. A fuir. Nous sommes déçu de cet hôtel. Je ne sais pas comment il fait le choix d’annuler certains clients et d’accepter d’autres …

Excellent in everyway!

This place was absolutely excellent in every way. Being on the cheaper side we were expecting it to be basic, but it was far from this. The rooms were clean, and had everything you needed. The views were STUNNING. This is a small family run hotel and the owners could not have done more to help and be accommodating. Having read the reviews about the breakfast we were prepared to not be impressed, but this was so far from the truth. The breakfasts were excellent and the way they were served per table was far more hygienic than a buffet style. There was so much food and it was good quality and fresh. Hassan the waiter was so accommodating whenever we asked for something especially with multiple pots of coffee requested. The family also have a transport services offered and this was excellent, we would highly recommend using it. If you are reading this and sitting on the line whether to book. Do it. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic view. Great location.

We chose this for two main reasons: its view and its location. Firostefani is close enough to Thera to walk (about 15 minutes on the coastal path) but far enough out to feel away from the crowds (especially when the cruise ships dock at Thera.) Firostefani has one main pedestrian walkway with a pleasant selection of shops and restaurants that extends off a little plaza and bus stop. We ate once in Thera, twice in Firostefani, and once on our apartment’s terrace. If I did it over, we’d have not eaten dinner in the busy, impersonal restaurant we went to in Thera and instead, we’d have had a second night eating dinner/supper on our terrace as the view was so sensational, especially at night. Breakfast was simple: bread and jams, sometimes a piece of cake or egg and a couple of slices of meat and cheese. Breakfast started from around 08:00 give or take. It was simple but we knew that ahead of time from earlier reviews so we were happy with it. Coffee was good and strong. We had studio number two which was at the top of the complex. It's on the upper part of the complex which means it's closer, with less steps, to the shortcut to the Firostefani walkway and shops just above. The downside is, it means you then have to walk down (and back up) the 50 steps to the reception and breakfast area which are on the lower part of the complex. The kitchenette was functional. A single-ring counter top stove (Which we never used.) Kettle. Coffee maker. Full-size fridge. Mattress and shower pressure was good. No complaints. But Kafieris’ real selling point was the spectacular caldera view, the Firostefani location, and easy access to Thera for main bus terminal. We were very happy with our choice. If you’re going to do Santorini, splurge and get a caldera view. We did and were so glad we did. It made the trip!

Great stay in Firostefani

Wonderful family owned property. Great view of the caldera and centrally located in Firostefani. Walk to restaurants and shops in Fira. The day we were to arrive, the boats were on strike. We ended up flying.

Average place for a short stay

We stopped in Santorini for 2 nights before we take our flight. Nice place for a couple of days but nothing too special. The views were amazing of course but breakfast was below average. The pool was freezing and the kids couldn't enjoy it at all. The rooms were nice and clean but overall they were too expensive for what they offer
