Kleines aber feines Stadthotel

Ein kleines aber feines Strandhotel in Stadtnähe, immer wieder gerne! Dies ist mein zweiter Aufenthalt in Rethymnon. Aus den Erfahrungen des ersten Aufenthaltes heraus, habe ich mich für dieses Hotel entschieden Die Lage des kleinen aber feinen Hotels, fußläufig 15 Minuten von der Altstadt und dem venizianischen Hafen entfernt und direkt am Badestrand hat zur Auswahl der Unterkunft geführt. Diese Entscheidung habe ich nicht bereut. Wir waren in der Penthousesuite "Ocean" untergebracht. Allein die große Terrasse mit bequemen Sonnenliegen und dem grandiosen Ausblick auf den Hafen und das Meer machte uns täglich die Entscheidung, überhaupt an den Strand zu gehen, wirklich schwer. Die Suite wirkte neu möbliert, Bad und Möbel, alles wirkte neuwertig. Das familien geführte kleine Team war immer freundlich, herzlich und bemüht, alle Gästewünsche zu erfüllen. Wir durften feststellen, dass es sich bei vielen Anwesende um Stammgäste handelte, die bereits wohl seit vielen Jahren dies Haus besuchen. Das allein spricht für sich. So schön die oben beschriebene Suite auch ist, birgt allein die Lage im obersten Stockwerk auch immer gewisse Risiken oder Nachteile, die von den Verantwortlichen nur schwer eleminierbar sind, die man jedoch wissen sollte: Ganz oben auf dem Dach treten auch die Entlüftungsleitungen der Küche und des Abwassersystems hervor. Wenn abends der Wind nachlässt, macht sich das mehr oder weniger deutlich auf der Terasse bemerkbar. Da im Obergeschoss auch der Technikraum, untergebracht ist, muss man, teils auch nachts, mit störenden Geräuschen von Pumpen oder Fahrstuhlhydraulik rechnen. Dass der Rauchmelder über dem Bett im drei Sekunden Tackt grün aufblitzt, naja.... Nichts desto trotz ist dies Haus für mich auch bei künftigen Aufenthalten meine erste Wahl.

Gutes Frühstück und super freundliches Personal 😊. Preis und Leistung passen. Zimmer mit Meerblick super. Top-Lage (man ist gemütlich in ca. 15 Minuten in die Altstadt gelaufen) 😊. Gratis Badestrand-Handtücher 😊👍. Auch im eigenen Restaurant kann man gut essen 😊.

Great hotel run by wonderful people

Great hotel with excellent hospitality! We stayed for two days, and loved the hotel, the location and the staff. The hotel is family run, and the people running it are so genuinly nice and really care about the guests. We stayed in the Ocean suite which was stunning, with a fantastic outdoor area as well. We will come back for sure!

Fantastic location, warm welcome and friendly

We enjoyed a wonderful weeks stay at this family run hotel. Fantastic location a few steps across a narrow road to the wonderful beach and just a 10 min stroll into the beautiful old town. Watersports, bars, restaurants, shops - This location has something for everyone. Lovely warm and friendly welcome from Anstasia despite us arriving at half past midnight set the trend for the rest of our stay with this lovely warm and friendly family. Natasha even arranged our car hire for us and Anastasia made beautiful cocktails. Our room on the second floor faced the beach and we were delighted to watch the stunning sunset every evening from our balcony. Great sized room equipped with a small but adequate kitchen area (no oven but then we didnt cook), included a full size fridge and the powerful shower was amazing . Our room was cleaned every day and was spotless. Nice and airy restaurant on the ground floor was where we ate breakfast whilst watching the beautiful beach view. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Dishonest people do not houner reservations

I booked two rooms in January 2022 and paid for them though Booking.com got my confirmations for two rooms. Ten day before we were scheduled to arrive in September they send me an email telling me they cancelled our reservation with no explanation. Went on there website only to see they are charging more for the same rooms. Sent them a email on there website for an explanation no reply. We could not find two rooms at this late date at other hotels for two family so they ruined our holidays and my kids honeymoon. If you think you have a reservation with these people good luck. If someone comes along and offers them more money you get cancelled.
