One of the greatest Hotels someone can choose to stay in Corfu, highly recommended for a carefree vacation!

Great experience also for the 3rd time in Corfu, choosing the same Hotel. Highlights: - very kind and helpfull personnel with excellent service skills - involved management (I've rarely seen a Manager to be so open and approachable on any matter, treating fairly the guests' needs and complaints, all in a professional and kind way. I would dare to say, very solution oriented regarding any problem!) - variety of food during the day with multiple choices (including for vegetarians). The food is always fresh, without exception - neat, airy and well equipped rooms (fully functional ACs, comfortable bedding, clean and constantly disinfected bathrooms, clean balconies) and all the spaces inside and around the hotel - one of the most wonderfull views a hotel can have in Corfu as it's well situated (close to the International Airport from where you can see daily departures and landings of the airplanes...an amazing experience you cannot have in many places around the world) - very child-friendly (the reception space, the pools and the terrace) - meets any expectations of large groups, family vacations and couples - the hotel has enough parking plots, so coming with a car is also a good idea - during the summer and usually on Friday nights, the Hotel is holding live concerts with talented singers, creating a truly amazing atmosphere on the terrace for all the guests - need to mention that the Hotel looks differently than in many of the photos uploaded on the site (most of them are outdated and it's been renewed ever since) Based on my previous experience while travelling a lot in the past years, I can say that Ariti Grand Hotel is a place that meets most of the needs from children to grown-ups, offering the necessary conditions for a truly nice vacation and spare time.

Disappointing

Based on its name "Ariti Grand Hotel"I expected way more but I was extremely disappointed. It is not even close to a 4 star hotel. I would rate it a 1-2 star hotel. The hotel is ran down and in need of repairs.. As you walk inside the lobby, there is a bad odour all around. The bedrooms are very basic and the cleanliness was very poor. I was there for 7 days and our bathroom mirror was never cleaned at all. The food was a disaster, same food everyday, poor quality and not many options, the juices, cold drinks and hot drinks tasted cheap and bad. Geek cuisine is so delicious but i didn't experience it at this GRAND hotel.The swimming pool looked dirty and poorly maintained and it put me off going in and the hotel does not have a beach nearby so we had to go very far to enjoy a decent beach. The only beach near the hotel belongs to the hotel next door and its a very small strip of sand with a few beach beds. For the 7 days I was there the only entertainment at the hotel was on a Saturday when they had a singer performing for an hour. The worse situation was when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and they did not have an evacuation procedure. We had to fend for ourselves and were left with no explanation as to what was going on. Very scary. As for the positives, staff is very polite and helpful, especially the barman who is the best, the views are beautiful and public transport is always available from the hotel door to the city of Corfu. I was there for 7 days to cerebrate my birthday and was very disappointed and will never go back

Not the best experience

Stayed there for 5 nights, the room’s average but the housekeeping service, although it was daily, it was bad specially in the bathroom, the mirror was never cleaned during our stay. One thing they must rectify in the description is that the hotel IS NOT 5 MINUTES FROM THE AIRPORT, it looks like it on the map and you can see the runway from your room but it takes you at least 20 minutes to get to the hotel. 400m to get to the beach?? Not true and it’s not even a beach, just a strip of land. Breakfast was very basic, the same food every day, not options specifically if you are vegetarian/vegan. Definitely not going back to this hotel

Would definitely recommend

The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the pool bar staff. Pool bar was great, with lots of loungers and seating areas. Did not use the all inclusive for evening meals however the breakfast and drinks were value for money. Purchased food at the pool bar was lovely. Would definitely return.

Not as bad as some say

This hotel was not as bad as some say. It was lacking entertainment as there isn't much to do in Kanoni but staff were pleasant. No issue with sun loungers and pool was cleaned everyday. Some could do with a lesson in putting their rubbish in the bin. Rooms cleaned every day. Great bus service to Corfu town right outside the hotel. Stayed bed & breakfast, plenty to choose from & the pool bar snacks were big enough to share between 2. Big thanks to Mstatiris in the pool bar for keeping me topped up with beers.
