Hotelli Primavera Dassia
Mukava hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Allasalue suuri ja viihtyisä. Aivan ihanan ystävällinen henkilökunta. Aamupalalle olisin kaivannut esim.tomaattia/kurkkua/paprikaa. Muuten aamupala monipuolinen.
Allas-alue ihan ok, ehkä melko hintava allasbaari hiukan antaa miinusta. Dassia missä sijaitsee, on ikävä kyllä jo aikansa elänyt, enkä suosittele kenellekkään.
A good base for exploring with a certain charm.
My friend and I were initially rather disappointed with this hotel. Our room was very small, basic and shabby and the hotel situated next to a busy road in a run down part of Dassia. However, by the end of our seven nights we would have happily stayed on for another week as found much we liked about it and the area. The small team of extremely hard working staff were friendly and helpful. The bar and pool area clean and relaxing with plenty of sunbeds, the pool a nice temperature and quiet. Food was excellent, drinks reasonably priced and cheerfully brought to where you were sat whether around the pool or at the tables. Breakfast was the same every day but more than adequate. There were three nights of entertainment whilst we were there, the Greek Night with BBQ excellent value and delicious food. The music nights were enjoyable too. Our room and hotel was kept very clean and the beds were comfortable. We couldn't sleep with the window open because of the road noise and there was also constant humming from a fruit warehouse refrigeration unit next to the hotel grounds. There is air con in the rooms though and the noise was blocked out with the shutters and window closed. We enjoyed the ease of catching buses to Ipsos and Corfu Town right outside the hotel with tickets bought from reception. (€1.50) Both places are worth a visit. Corfu Old Town is a labyrinth of charming cobbled streets and Ipsos offers a large stretch of tavernas, bars shops and nightlife on one side of the road and a lovely beach side walk on the other. Dassia beach, past the big all inclusive hotel that takes up so much of it, was beautiful with beach front tavernas and bars, reasonably priced sun bed/parasol hire. Also nice for evening walking and eating out. Closer to the hotel were beaches to use without sunbeds and some excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. To sum up our stay in this hotel, it was a good base for exploring, the staff were wonderful and being small it felt we did more and had a far more personal experience than if we had stayed at a large all inclusive complex, that we didnt want to do. Having a luxurious, large room to stay in was far less important than we thought as the charm of this hotel won us over. It was always lovely to return to, whether for a late afternoon drink and dip in the pool, read a book until the sun went down or to have a last cocktail after a night out. (The espresso martinis were delicious) We were very sad to leave!
friendly hotel, great staff
booked the Primavera hotel for a week for me and my daughter, I asked for a ground floor room as I have COPD , was given one, a lovely room, cleaner came in every day, towels and sheets changed regularly. went to the Greek night with BBQ and Greek dancing, brilliant, an excellent night. all staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. the only thing I was dissapoited with, which has been mentioned by others, is the lack of fruit for breakfast, water melon nearly everyday, the other day was differeny melon! and if you only ate cereals there was only a choice of two. otherwise would recommend. a very small resort, not much going on, but buses are frequent but even in late September were very busy!
Great staff.
One of the friendliest places we have stayed, the owner, family and staff go out of their way to make your stay the best. Room was fairly basic but okay, bar area and pool lovely, bus stop right outside, tickets purchased from hotel 3 euros for2. Good snack food at hotel and favorite eat out restaurant within walking distance definitely La Casa. Ipsos short bus ride away for nice sea front and harbour, Corfu Town half an hour by bus but pick your time as packed and standing only at school times. Dassia quite run down but hotel on very edge of village. Would stay again if only for the lovely staff.
