The hotel staff were very friendly and happy to help with a big smile. Nikita came every morning and cleaned up the room changed towels and made sure we have all we need in our room. The dining room staff couldn't do enough to help and make sure you got all you need and more. Overall, we stayed one week and felt very welcome. The down side is the distance from the beach and the taxi service outside the hotel that over charge.
Great hotel for Goa holiday.

Lovely hotel with comfortable rooms and great friendly staff. Food was great. Suraj from house keeping was very helpful and super attentive to our needs.
Only okay.

Overworked staff leads to lack of attention to detail so cleanliness could be better in rooms and outside areas. Location is okay, about a mile from beach. Breakfast is chaotic and too busy.
Not usual Marriott standards by a long way. Would not return

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but I have to be honest. Here’s some of the points I noted whilst staying there. The only real positive I can come up with is that the location is good and within walking distance of most things. Now the negative The room on arrival was not up to the cleanliness standard I would have expected. Dirty finger prints on the patio doors, spillage marks etc, dusty floors. If you pay in cash don’t expect them to have any change. Every night was the same Rooms were cleaned through the day first few days then had to ask and they would turn up at 7pm to clean when we were in. Rude reception staff Nikita, was told to sit down when trying to check in. Not the cleanest of places and certainly not Marriott usual standard. Breakfast is chaotic, no clean tables, always running out of things, the demand out weighs the supply, limited choice, we eventually gave up. Key deprogrammed regularly. We would get up to the room after a day at the beach and not be able to get in and have to go back down 6 floors to reception. This happened numerous times during our stay. Tables round the pool never seem to get cleaned even though there are members of staff stood around. Feels dirty and grubby. Ask for an ashtray you get a dirty one with someone else’s cigarette ends still in. Came back from the beach one day and took a shower only to find they had been in the room and took the dirty ones and not replaced them. Not ideal having to dry yourself with your beach towel. The pool area is small in comparison to the number of residents. It is in the shade most of the day and only around 6 sunbeds, hence we didn’t have any pool days. When we were checking out we were asked how our stay was and I said it was just ok and said I would leave feedback. He wanted feedback there and then and said that 9-10 feedback is good for the hotel! I’m sorry but I am not going to tell lies. When I book a hotel, the first thing I do is check the reviews and I expect them to be honest, as I’m sure everyone does. This hotel does not meet the Marriott usual standards by a long way. We checked out other hotels whilst in Goa at similar costs and there are far better ones. We will not be choosing this hotel on our return next year.
