Area industriale e spiaggia orribile

L'hotel è anche carino ma la zona è decisamente orribile per essere a Santorini. In alcune recensioni si legge che la spiaggia di Monolithos è adatta ai bambini ed è tra le piu belle. Falsissimo. Con il meltemi e le navi cargo ormeggiate a 200 metri?? Assolutamente da evitare. Specie a luglio e agosto con il vento. Magari giusto una notte se proprio dovete essere attaccati all'aeroporto... cosi sentite il vostro aereo decollare

Excellent Hotel!

We have just got back to the UK after spending a week at The Scorpios Beach Resort and we would just like to say what a lovely place to stay, the room was cleaned every day, the food was delicious, they had 3 lots of large parties in while we were there and the staff coped very well and quickly replenished the breakfast buffet once the big parties had practically cleared it! The staff were fab, very friendly, Konstantina on reception was very helpful, make sure you get the bus timetable and map off her as the buses run 4 times a day just outside the hotel that will take you to the main town of Fira where you can change and get a bus to anywhere on the Island, we chose to take the excursion that was offered by Jet2 for 51 euros each and visited the monastery at the highest point of the island, Pyrgos, Akrotiri, red beach, Fira and Oia, the prehistoric city in Akrotiri that was unearthed in 1967 we found fascinating! Oia to watch the sunset was too busy for us so we took our photos and headed off to the righthand side of the main square and found a lovely bar down the hill that provided blankets and served the santorini sunset cocktail and it was the perfect spot for us to watch the sunset. We walked to Kamari or you can get the bus from Fira, that was a nice small town to visit with plenty of restaurants and a local vineyard (there are lots on the island). Back to Scorpios, we would like to thank all of the staff, Kostas, Martha, Saba, Ranol, Konstantina, Konstantinos and the handyman who fixed our suitcase that was broken on our way out there, you are all an absolute credit to the Scorpios you all go out of your way to make everyone feel welcome and we will definitely be coming back, thank you again for making our holiday so relaxing and memorable.

Scorpios for a relaxing holiday

Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully in a minimalistic style. The bed was very comfortable, the swimming pool was lovely with such comfortable sunbeds! Peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Excellent staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A gem place to stay

We stayed in this beautiful, small beach hotel with 23 rooms during 12-15th September. This beautifully whitewashed one story built hotel with spacious suites and pretty garden is an Oasis to enjoy your Greek holiday. The hotel It is only few minutes walk from the beach & 10 minutes drive from the airport. Has very good bus service to all near by towns including Fira (Thira) and Ola. The reception staff Konstantina, Enrika, Konstantinos and Anastasios were extremely pleasant and helpful. The chef; Raha & Tina prepared delicious meal & breakfast. Breakfast had a wide range of tasty savory & sweet dishes. I highly recommend this place & can’t wait to return there for another wonderful Greek hospitality. Perfect for a Tranquil Holiday

The hotel is away from the main tourist areas of Santorini opposite a volcanic sand beach. For us, it was the perfect choice. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and recently decorated. The staff were superb - endlessly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, suggesting the best ways of seeing everything the island has to offer and proving to be right every time. The relatively small pool and poolside bar were perfect for a relaxing day, well sheltered from any wind but allowing plenty of loungers for sun worshipers. While there isn't a restaurant, there was a limited menu - all very tasty and well presented - which could be served in the pool area or at sheltered tables by Reception. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of food. All in all this was the perfect setting for what we wanted.
