Hotellihuone oli todella siisti, valoisa ja hyvin ilmastoitu. Myös koko hotellin yleisilme oli siisti. Etenkin kattoterassi ja sen allas tarjosivat hienot puitteet ja vaihtoehdon meressä uimiselle.

Hotellin asiakaspalvelu oli Kroatialaiseen tyyliin hieman vaisua/uneliasta. Lisäksi hotellihuoneen suihkun vedenpaine oli todella alhainen ja veden lämpötila oli joko tulikuuma tai jääkylmä.

Ihana kaupunkihotelli

Tilava, laadukas huone, asuimme minisviitissä. Aamiainen tyylikäs boutique-hotellille sopiva. Sijainti hieman kaukana Rivalta, mutta katolla oleva allas-spa-alue kruunaa kaiken. Katolta mahtavat maisemat yli kaupungin ja merelle.

Big potential, weak staff

A very good looking hotel ! I must say i was impressed by the quality of overall materials and furniture used in the hotel ... that is a big plus. The rooms are huge i must say and very clean, a double room could be used for a family of 3 easily. I havent used the pool on the top floor so i cant say anything about it. The hotel is located somehow a bit far from the city center. Yes you can take taxi, or bus, but the best choice in Split is UBER. I was informed by my local friends. Breakfast was pretty decent, buffet style, plenty of choices and restocked permanently. Problem in this hotel as reported before by other tourists ... is the staff !!! Lets start with the reception ladies, when you enter the hotel reception ... you are supposed to be greeted ... especially when there is noone else there besides the receptionist and you, well, NOT HERE, they look at you with a fake smile after you say hello. Ok, lets say. After checkin was made, i was promptly told about the city tax, Ok, But when i asked about parking (i arrived by car), the lady was a bit sarcastic, and informed me about the parking prices in their OWN PARKING GARAGE, nice one, you own the parking but charge extra for it. Good deal. Luckily there is a parking on the left side of the hotel where you can park free of charge IF you are Lucky to find a parking spot. Other days you just enter the reception and they couldnt care less nor take a look at you. The staff from restaurant at breakfast was also not interested, no smiling, late servicing and so on. I enjoyed the place but not the staff ...

All you need

Good personel ..nice lobby..great bed..beautiful bathroom ..good location..good breakfast...good facilities ..STAY HERE..YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG... From the moment you arrive..the professionalism is evident..the dress of the personel To the flavored water..

Loved the roof top pool.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Dioklecijan Hotel. In particular the rooftop pool with wonderful views over Split and very romantic at sunset and early evening, when the pool area was lit up. The room was quiet and clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Easy walk into the port area and the Dioklecjan Palace area with its restaurants and bars.

Dissappointed really "NOT" worth the money.

Disappointed really “NOT” worth the money. We stopped for 14 nights in this hotel and made the mistake of booking half board. The hotel does not have a Jet2 representative visiting, hence need to contact them by phone, email or crystal ball if required. The name of this hotel would suggest it is near the Palace ruins in the old town, not even close. The hotel location is in a concrete suburb surrounded by graffiti covered concrete flats with their washing hanging out of the windows and with nothing around, no restaurants, cafes etc. The travel into Split is about 15 to 20-minute walk downhill into Split old town, but the walk back is uphill for most of the way. Near the hotel there’s not much to see and no restaurants in the neighbourhood, you can walk, bus or taxi into Split if you need to dine out There is a local bus service that runs every 20 minutes to and from Split, this is the number 18. You can catch this service outside the hotel and cost 11 Kuna each one way. You can also catch this bus to two shopping malls, City One and Mall of Split. The bus terminates at City One Mall and then you can walk uphill to Mall of Split which takes about 20 minutes. You can then catch the number 18 back to the hotel. We stayed on the fifth floor towards the sea and the view from the balcony was adequate apart from the residential flats with graffiti and washing hanging out, you just needed to see past this. The first night we were left a bottle of water, but the well dried up after this. Water should be provided every day as part of the hotel service. The room had tea/coffee making facilities with a kettle but sadly no milk. The rooms are clean and spacious with good air conditioning. The room was kept very clean and the bed linen was changed every other day. The bathroom was clean and very spacious with a walk-in shower. There was a supermarket next door but need to be careful what size milk you buy as there is very little space in the mini bar fridge. There is a lot of traffic noise outside as the hotel is located on a busy cross road junction. The noise eased off overnight but started again about 7am, the motor bicycle noise was the worst as the seemed to use the road as a race track and doing wheelies. We never used the 7th floor area which had a roof terrace, swimming (paddling) pool and jacuzzi. The hotel breakfast is not top quality, it is the same every day with no variety. The cooked breakfast is the worst I have ever had in any hotel. Thankfully there was a selection of coffee, tea, fruit juices, cereal, bread and fruit. We were staying with coach parties (groups as the hotel calls them). The rest of the guests (groups) use the buffet servery which looked to have a better selection of food plus you can mix or match what you can have. As mentioned above we booked half board basis, the evening meal was not very nice and the service was not what we had expected for half board, we were offered a fixed menu 1 or 2 choice, I asked if we could use the buffet servery but was told no as this is for the groups/coaches. You must pick from these two menus but are not allowed to mix and match from menu 1 & 2 option. We sent every meal back only partially eaten. On the 13th night we were given the option to use the buffet servery, to be quite honest this was worse than the menu 1 or 2 option. Menu 1 & 2 should be combined so you can select what you need to eat IE starter, main meal and desert. The food to say the least is diabolical, if you do not like salad or bread you are stuffed (not literally), there is no sign of any vegetables. As we booked half board this is not what we expected. Indeed, when we stopped in Dubrovnik in May at a hotel the food was excellent. If we could have seen a rep we would have cancelled the half board and asked for a refund, at this point we had seven days left and not looking forward to the rest of the evening meals. Forgot to mention the third menu option TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. If the price was right we would stop there again BUT only bed and breakfast, and possibly room only. Certainly not worth what we paid for a two week stay in Split.
