Ihana hotelli ihanilla huoneilla!! Paljon tekemistä lapsille. Ruoka oli mahtavaa ja valikoima oli suuri. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Viihdettä aikuisille olisi voinut olla enemmän illalla, sillä baari meni kiinni klo. 23 ja se siitä. Tulisimme varmasti tänne uudelleen!!
I am a little late writing this review as we visited in july 🙈 Firstly this place is amazing, we went here for our honeymoon with our children (8 and 4) When we checked in we were instantly upgraded to a seafront room and when arriving to the room there were flowers and champagne waiting for us. Such a lovely touch. The hotel itself is spotless, and staff work really hard to keep it that way. The animation team at the hotel were brilliant and again work really hard, there were shows everynight (some better than others) and always something going on in the day. Most of the daily activities are round the main pool and if you get there after 9 most sunbeds are reserved which was a little bit annoying as it was the childrens favourite pool and one of the furthest away from our room 😂. The kids went to the kids club a few times and seemed to enjoy it, again staff lovely. There are seperate clubs, one for Germans and one for international children. I found that because the childrens evening entertainment was in 3+ languages it became a little confusing for my youngest so we didnt bother to much with it. Food was lovely, yes it is canteen style but thats what all inclusive is about. Personally we found it easier as kids could chose what they wanted and there was always plenty of choice for them. Food was plentiful and fresh at all meal times. The buffet restaurant by the beach was definitely our favourite as a bit smaller and you could sit outside overlooking the sea. We tried all the al a carte resaurants and our favourite was definitely the asian one and we were gutted as we only went there on the last night. The only one downside to this hotel was that once the evening entertainment was over at approx 22:30. There was not really anything to do, children are not permitted in the disco so there are lots of people with kids just hanging around outside. You can go to the main bar but there is no music or atmosphere. We walked into hersonissos one night and to stalis a couple of nights because of this. This wouldn't stop me going here again but i do think that maybe the disco could be open for younger guests just a teeny bit longer. Overall an amazing holiday and thank you Nana beach for making it so wonderful for us.
Overvalued ratings for not a 5 star (lol) hotel.
Overvalued ratings for a hotel that has: NO free WiFi for a five star hotel (as they advertise it) NO shower caps/tissue box for a five star hotel (ditto) NO tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms (ditto) NO toilets on the main bar/reception area!!! They advertised it as a 5 star hotel!! Food was NOT labelled clearly especially for those who can't eat beef since it was hard to figure out if it was pork or beef and there was no manager or someone else to ask for! Way too many ants and mosquitos in the room for a 5 star hotel (so they say!) For a five star hotel as they advertise is which is NOT, stay away! Wouldn't return to this even if they would pay me the room! We were supposed to have fun and get some rest but instead we paid them and got an awful customer service! They should advertise it as B&B with sea view only since most of the sun beds are broken! Totally bad experience with the specific hotel!
Just what the doctor ordered
Superb break, 2 lovely bars and good choice of restaurants. Wine was in abundance and notbing was too much trouble. The gym is dated but we only used this on a cloudy day. The beach bar is fantastic Constantina runs it single handedly, remembering everyone's drinks order and doing food... Despite the length of the queue she never flustered. A very nice hotel with plenty to offer. I always say that i will never go back to the same hotel as there is so much to explore but i think this may break the rule.
Our family (including two children aged 11 and 7) returned to Nana Beach this July having previously had a wonderful holiday there in 2016. Beautiful grounds, excellent facilities and clean, well-appointed rooms. The selection of pools is great - from quiet adult-only pools to splash pools for the kids to the main pool with lively activities and swim-up bar. The food choice was very good and of a very high standard - particularly the Poseidon fish restaurant (managed and hosted by the wonderful Ramos). The water sports on the beach (pedals, paddle boards, etc) were mostly included in the package - with only jet skis and the banana boat costing extra. We had hoped to take lessons at the dive school, but windy weather mid-holiday shut the school for a couple of days. We were instead entertained by the waves crashing into the rocky foreshore next to the hotel and the sea spray shooting up out of the purpose-built slate chimney stacks built onto the rocks. Very clever design feature! We were there for two weeks, which for our family is a long time in one place, despite the range of activities. We hired a car one day and explored the mountain villages and east coast of Crete. Highly recommended! Finally, the fantastically friendly staff at the hotel were the icing on the cake. The pan-European animation team were excellent and also made sure that those who wanted to watch the World Cup were catered for - the games were shown on three different screens including a cinema screen in the conference room - with team members on hand to serve beer and wine! All in all a wonderful holiday which we have recommended to friends and would recommend to anyone. We’ll be back!
