Ihana hotelli ihanilla huoneilla!! Paljon tekemistä lapsille. Ruoka oli mahtavaa ja valikoima oli suuri. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Viihdettä aikuisille olisi voinut olla enemmän illalla, sillä baari meni kiinni klo. 23 ja se siitä. Tulisimme varmasti tänne uudelleen!!
I had an amazing holiday. It was just me(17years) and my mom to this hotel and honestly before our arrival, I was sure I am going to get bored but I did not. Every day, 2 times a day I played with the animation team either volleyball or waterpolo. Great animation team , tasty food with a wide range to choose from, the rooms were clean, friendly staff. I would totally recommend this hotel
Lovely hotel and great staff with one but.
We travelled as a family of 3 15-22 August with TUI. Transfer. We booked a private taxi via the hotel. Picked up at the airport in a lush Mercedes minibus. 20 minute transfer. Perfect start and £40. Did this after reading other reviews. Return transfer was in the coach and confirmed we had made the right decision. Our room. We requested a room in a quiet area of the hotel with a good sea view. On arrival we were taken to our room in an electric vehicle (very green hotel). Room 977 has a reasonable view of the sea and one of the pools. Comfortable and kept clean. Not one of the updated rooms but still of a good standard. Fresh bottled water for 3 every day, clean towels everyday and bed changed once. As requested we could not hear the late night entertainment so thank you reservation team! Excellent customer service. If you want a safe if costs Euro14 for a key for the week. Maybe a keypad safe would be better and no cost? Food. This was ok in the main restaurant. Sometimes you had to wait for fresh food to come out, but this was peak season and to be expected. We tried the Greek and fish restaurant. Both served excellent meals with great service. None off us had upset bellies so all good. Well done to these teams. Bars. Plenty of choice. Drinks were all fine. Wine and beer ok. Cocktails were also tasty. The bar staff work really hard. The beach bar would benefit from a second member of staff. Using Greek please and thank you is appreciated by all the staff. General hotel. The pools are all salt water except the relax pool. They felt fresh when first entering but were clean and refreshing on a hot day. The gardens are well kept except around the relax pool. Could have done with the grass being cut. We didn’t use the kids club or entertainment. The evenings were spent in the panorama bar, sipping cocktails whilst the sun went down. Apparently there was entertainment provided but we were blissfully unaware! Staff. All are happy and friendly. A cheerful kalimera from them all. They work hard and sometimes are stretched a bit thin. Negative. The dress code. On the TUI sight it does mention that men must wear trousers. However, it is not obvious and a family we met got caught out. We saw several men being turned away for wearing shorts, the on site shop did a roaring trade in men’s trousers! You can wear shorts at the restaurant by the beach. It should be a rule for men and women to dress smartly. One night three ladies turned up with beach coverups over their costumes and not covering the bottom half very well. We appreciate what the hotel are trying to achieve but the trousers rule for men does not really convey this. Tailored shorts and t shirt with collars would look smarter. No idea how you translate this to women but the rule for no beach wear should be enforced for fairness. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We would recommend this hotel but worried that going “Gold” might make it overpriced. Some areas felt more 5 star than others, In fact it sometimes felt that it was several hotels blended into one.
Very good choice in Crete
Very good choice for a family that wanna go for all-inclusive stay. We enjoyed staying here, food is very good, location close to Hersonissos, nice pools and good activities for kids. Overall vacation was experience was excellent, especially that we made friends here and had common activities. What liked most: - sea view from family room is great - room were clean and nice (and lot of space in family rooms) - very good food in self-service restaurants - animation activities, mentioning here evening shows were awesome - rent a car service is very good and got very good tips from there Not bad but just feeling to do recommendations: - not allowing short pants (around knees) in evening restaurants (except one from the beach) got me wrong.Being in a summer sea vacation had no long pants with me and had to go and buy a pair to be able to get dinner in a-la-carte restaurant.Things should be more relax here as we're in vacation - bars around pool and see schedule felt is a bit wrong.Being with kids i felt like going to the sea only mornings and just before evening to avoid sun burns and get aerosol. But being open only from 11 to 17 kind of miss them most part. - a-la carte dinners were not the best (not 5 star at least).Way better are self-service options where i saw lots of options and very good food
1 week stay, at this pretty resort
We stayed at Nana w/c 12th Aug 19, arrived (after a delay) at 2am in the morning, the 'oldish' guy (sorry didn't get name) on reception...fantastic customer service, I asked if it was possible to have two sets of keys...his reply ' everything is possible at Nana Beach' Room... in a sea view twin (myself, husband and 12 year old daughter) Room was in block 800's beautiful seaview, short walk from main building. Nicely apportioned room double sink, good shower, (fridge and good working aircon, hairdryer, this blew up on 2nd to last day but was fixed/replaced) beds comfy. I'd booked a twin, however we had a double and single bed which was fine..(the single bed was not a 'camp' bed, full size single, which was great as daughter is tall) Resort... its self is big, and very pretty, pool area's good, we never had trouble getting sunbeds (and yes we stuck to the rules, unlike some guests! - first day we wasn't sure where to get the towels, but as we found out you can get them from the numerous outside snack/bar areas. Great location. 20 min walk (use google map shows a shortcut) takes you into Stalis, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, great beach. (Nemo bar had good prices on drinks) and to mention salt water pools. Food...mixed feelings about the food. What was available was good (hot food seemed cold all the time - I know its a buffet but all the AI I've been too have plate warms and food is of decent temperature) I never seemed to see (or come across) warm vegetables, to accompany a dish (plenty of meat - pork being on the menu all day, every day) variety of cheeses but no crackers, great bread selection, and breakfast (although a lot of queuing to be seated in the main restaurant) was good, especially the omelette and pancake station. Drinks....tip jar on the bar. We tipped most nights and got extra measures, some nights we got branded spirits in cocktails (other than that its your usual AI drinks, - white wine not bad) Please tip the bar staff they work extremely hard, (as do all the staff) Jetski's 50 euro's for 15mins and my daughter loved it. (not sure on the prices for banana boat ride etc) Beach was busy and we only went down once to the watersports centre. Majority mentioned above is positive, but I do have some negatives. Water!! you get two small bottles a day in the room..I spoke to a rude french man at reception about getting extra, or at least 3 bottles rather than 2 as 3 of us was in the room. I was told to buy extra at the mini market...so please remember yes its all inclusive but water isn't! or at least more than 2 small bottles isn't. (Never been to a warm country, where I've had to buy water on AI) Also asked the rude french man if we could have an extra chair on the balcony as mention 3 was in the room. (never got the 3rd chair) Late checkout - we asked for late check out 65 euro's which was fine no complaint about the price, but we had to move to another room on the day we departed...Thank god we wasn't allocated this room on arrival, (old tired décor, aircon dodgy, ants in fridge/beds/walls all over - yes we did have a few ants in the allocated room but not the extent in this one - room 814 so glad we wasn't sleeping the night) Wifi...well there is none...not even in public area's...so get your data roaming on. (or pay the extra, which again is non existent) I managed to connect to the resort next door Nana Princess...now that resort looks amazing. Other than that we had a great week at Nana Beach Resort - not 5* and we got the private taxis, recommend this... and to management no need for a reply to my review thankyou.
