Fin og grei leilighet, med alt du trenger. 10-15 min. å gå langs kysten inn til den Venetianske havnen i Chania. Stor terrasse og nydelig utsikt. Rett ved fine strender, gode tavernaer og restauranter.

Can’t wait to come again!

We travelled independently from UK to this family owned accommodation and communicated directly with Stella by email. Our taxi transfers were arranged by her and everything was spot on. We stayed for 2 weeks in the budget studio, ground floor with small street side terrace, chairs and umbrella, the entrance is separate to the main apartments. The sun shines on the terrace only briefly in the morning but there is a lovely roof terrace for everyone in the main apartment building. A lift is located next to reception, then you walk up 1 flight of stairs to the terrace. Provided on arrival was a bottle of water, little milk portions, a few teabags, carton orange juice & bowl of mixed fruit. The fruit was replenished mid holiday by a huge delicious supply of grapes, maybe home grown? This little studio has everything you could need, for a self catering holiday, a small oven/grill, hob, microwave, a good selection of pans, plates, dishes, utensils, knives, even cling film and drinking straws! Only thing we noticed missing was oven gloves! There’s no toaster, used the grill. Mosquito repellent plug in, washing up liquid, I can honestly say I have never stayed in a more well equipped self catering accommodation. A safe and very good air conditioning was included in the overall price. The reception is only manned at certain times, maybe these times could be displayed on the door. There is contact information displayed should you need anything or in an emergency. The position was ideal for us, just around the corner from the lovely beach where 2 sunbeds and an umbrella were 5 euros and lots of lovely restaurants. It was just 12 – 15 minutes walk from the centre of the old town or harbour. Where more restaurants and shops await! There are a couple of Mini markets within 2 – 3 minutes walk and a large supermarket approx 7 minutes walk. Excellent holiday, can’t wait to come again!

Great apartment!

Me and my wife have stayed a couple of times in Iro Apartments hotel, since we like to stay in Nea Chora when in Chania. This time we wanted to experience Crete in the winter so we stayed for a month in an apartment, that Iro apartments have in Nea Chora, from 20th of December to 20th of January. The apartment is just over 50 m2 with good space outside. It is well located, just 200 m from the beach where we were able to take a swim a couple of times. Stella takes care of everything and supplies you with what you need in a kind and helpful way. We were able to travel a lot around Crete as usual, but the apartment was our home away from home (we live in Iceland) for a month and this was a very enjoyable experience. Thanks for everything Stella and Michalis and we hope to see you again in October!

Nice holiday!

Nice place to stay, we travelled with Apollo from DK, and stayed in apartment 14 with the sea view. We got lucky as the weather was as warm as in September as we were told by a captain of one of the glass buttom boats in the Old town. We swim a lot usually at all our travel destinations and we enjoyed the beach and the short distance to it here as well as the fine rocks and sea life for swimming and snorkling every day. The manager and her family was extremely helpful with guiding about restaurants, food, wine, bakeries, local experiences and trips to go. We experienced them as being very attentive and kind, showing highest level of hospitality. We didnt use the aircon but if we needed to, we would ask to have it cleaned, and surely it wouldbe fixed with no doubt.

Excellent all round

I spent 3 weeks in September 2018 in the Studio Apartment and can highly recommend staying with this very friendly, helpful and obliging family. The family maintain very high standards of cleanliness; apartments are cleaned 6 days a week and the bed linen and towels are changed 3 times a week. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook-in, right down to a potato peeler. The bed was very comfortable; the wifi connection is very good and the property is a heartbeat away from the beach. If you don't want to get sand between your toes then the rooftop terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas and tables and chairs is a good alternative and perfect for enjoying a Sundowner.
