Relax and enjoy the sun

A clean and nice hotel . Reception service should be on a higer level. All other staff is very friendly and helpful. I am happy now when I got used to the distant, and the reason is that I have a lung problem

Perfect winter escape

Last minute winter escape proved to be an excellent choice. Beautiful pools areas. Will return soon . Lovely bedroom, space balcony bath. Daily cleaning.. excellent variety shows ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️💕☀️💕💕☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️💕💕 MJ

Gala hotel

Fantastic 4 star hotel staff are great and friendly ..Good food choice lots of selection for all nationalities..swimming pools are great nice size..plenty of animation and well advertised would recommend to people of all ages ..rooms very comfortable and nice little touch with the toiletries

A week at Hotel Gala

This is our first visit to Tenerife, we are very pleased with the facilities,food,service & cleanliness of this hotel. We have been. especially happy with the staff, I would recommend this hotel & will be staying here again. B.Stott

Nice hotel, but not great.

Nice hotel, but not great. We booked an Alexandre room which Jet 2 states: Fantastic spa facilities - Natural Spa & Wellness centre! There is actually only a small heated relaxation pool and a small Jacuzzi. The other facilities either didn't work or were closed. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Not while we were there. Club Alexandre rooms have Nespresso coffee machine. But you have to buy your own pods etc. There's no kettle for tea drinkers so take you own. Sea views are only slight! bring a mirror on a selfie stick if you want a sea view. Although the Alexandre rooms are slightly better than the others they still have issues. They are cold, the rooms on the South side do not receive any sun during the day. The laminate floors are starting to lift. Zero ventilation in the bath room means mold on the walls and condensation on the mirrors (trimmed with insulation tape). Don't bother upgrading. Food on the first two days was limited in choice and cold. It improved in temperature later on in the stay, but choice was limited, although you could nearly always cobble something together. Morning coffee was very poor, croissants were not always fresh and at least a day or maybe two old, we skipped breakfast and ate out. Minimum standing charge of 7.50 Euros if you had the safe (2.5/day) and 2 waters in the evening (2.50 each). Paying at the end is ok, but it did feel that if I had an issue it would be difficult to resolve. I have previously stayed at the Troya hotel opposite and the experience was just the same there, they are operated by the same group who also operate the La Siesta hotel down the road. All of the issues were relatively small but added together to result in an unpleasant experience for a four star hotel. Location is great, but it would not be enough to tempt me back.
