Ihan kiva ranta, mutta muuten ympäristö niin ja näin (vieressä hylätty rakennustyömaa). Huone suht ok mitä nyt ilmastointi vuotaa vettä lattialle ja eivätkä paikat nyt ole ihan priimusta. Suurin osa henkilökunnasta yrittää kyllä olla ystävällisiä. Sitä ei kuitenkaan missään kerrottu että ruokajuomat eivät sisälly puolihoitoon ja hinnat ovat todella korkeat, jopa Suomen hintoihin nähden.

Mahtava loma

Meillä oli mahtava loma alusta loppuun. Henkilökunta oli todella avuliasta ja ystävällistä, aamiainen riittää koko päivän energiaksi. Paikka oli todella siisti ja kylpylä rentouttava. Kävimme muutamalla treenitunnilla jotka olivat loistavia. Kävisimme varmasti uudestaankin. Ainoa huono puoli EI OLLUT hotellin vika, se oli hotellia vastapäätä olevat keskeneräiset rakennukset ja rannalla koko päivän työskentelevät kaivajat. Kiitos kaikille. Kohokohta oli risteily, pakollinen Fuertechaterin kanssa. Halusimme käydä surffaamassa, mutta aikaa ei riittänyt siihen.

We got back from this hotel yesterday afternoon. We looked at a few different hotels online before deciding to book. There was one bad review which made us wary however our experience was the opposite. As soon as we arrived we felt totally relaxed. The service stands out as 5 star as soon as you arrive. Our room was lovely spacious and very comfortable, we had an amazing sea view from our room overlooking island of Lobos and could see lanzarote across the sea. The hotel was not full capacity due to covid however it made it even more relaxing and the service from all the staff was friendly and very professional. Our favourite restaurant was the lunch time restaurant downstairs lots of delicious dishes and great view over sea with part of the restaurant partially outside over looking the tastefully landscaped pools. Covid safety around the hotel was excellent, hand sanitiser next to all lifts and around the hotel ,they had thought of everything that would avoid contact with other people, sunbeds sanitised and menus all done electonically. The location of the hotel is beautiful and a pleasant walk to nearby shops. Cocktail / piano bar perfect end to the day, excellent cocktails made by Matt and Enrico The spa was amazing , I had a massage which I can say was one of the best I have ever had. We have stayed in a few 4 star hotels on the canary islands and a couple have been this island but we will definitely return to this one as being 5 star could definitely tell the difference in the quality and standards.

an amazing time

We came for a week to get away from the UK. We have stayed for 1 month and are about to book for another two weeks. I don't recognise the negative reviews at all. We have had a great time and have made some small allowances for the fact that we live in strange times. The QR codes work perfectly. the rooms are as you would expect. The hotel is obviously struggling because of COVID. They cannot keep all the restaurants open and this is totally understandable because there are hardly any residents. There is a buffet breakfast which we have enjoyed and the buffet dinner is as you would expect. We have enjoyed it when we have eaten in. There are also plenty of options in the town itself and its a very nice early evening walk into town along the sea front. Las Palmas restaurant in the Hotel is open from 12 - 5.30 and the food and service is good. Franceso, Sophia, Andreas, Emilio and the rest of the team the experience a pleasure. In the town Tapas Oscar is great. In Villaverde near La Oliva there are two nice places. Mahoh which is a steak house and La Villa which. La Oliva is about 15 minutes away and is a 20 euro cab ride. We have found EVERY member of staff to be incredible and friendly. The service has been amazing. Housekeeping and room service has also been fantastic. You need to wear masks and hand sanitise all over the place. This is mandated by the government and they follow the rules. There is no tea/coffee facilities in the room and this is again like I have found in the other hotels I have stayed in recently. How many people us it anyway - really? The pool area is amazing and the beach has been very quiet. Because it is very rocky in front of the hotel access to the sea is from the end of the pier. When the sea is too strong they close the pier. This has happened about three times. This is for everyones safety. About 90 people are year drown in the canary islands. If you want a beach and beach access to the sea you need to walk about 20 minutes along the front or you can get a cab which is about 4 euro. Its a nice little beach with a great bar called Waikiki, which has been there for years. This is a great hotel. Make sure you get a sea view. It is amazing value at the moment and is virtually empty. I hope for everyone at the hotel and Corralejo in general that this quiet period passes quickly. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for working in these times. Sin ustedes no hay nada para nosotros.

Shockingly bad. Checked out after 3 hours

This is a shockingly bad hotel, more like a 3-star hostel from the 1970s. The only positive things were the view from the seaview room and the gardens. Otherwise, a total disaster and I checked out after just 3 hours. The check-in took over 20 minutes with no apologies. The very friendly porter was the only staff member worth praising, the others were very blasé. The room looks and smells terrible, with a lumpy bed and decoration in dire need of refurbishment. There were plastic cups in the room, no real glasses, which I was told was due to Covid, but i have stayed in several hotels since they reopened and all had real glasses and amenities. The wardrobe smelt terrible and felt dirty. As for the pool, there were no free sunbeds. All were covered in towels but with no sign of occupants. The pool bar was extortionately priced, so I have no idea what the restaurants cost, although I was told I wouldn't be able to enter without long trousers. I perfectly understand dress codes, but why you can't wear smart shorts in the middle of summer,I don't know. The QR codes don't work and some of the basic Covid measures were ignored. However, every issue was met with the reply, "Cpvid". In short, I checked out, which I have never had to do anywhere, and I am now in an excellent 4-star just down the road, which is infinitely better. Basically, a huge disappointment and definitely not worth the rating of 5*GL. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
