Bleak

Extremely small rooms and the ones facing the street are noisy all night. We “upgraded” to a family room and even that was small. English was not the staff’s forte and breakfast was very bleak. We only stayed here as it was part of our tour. I’d say it was a 2 star hotel. But it was clean and good Wi-Fi

STAY AWAY

Most expensive hotel on our Thailand, Cambodian and Vietnamese holiday (and we had chandeliers, champagne and 5 star in Danang) and we got a shoe box. Upgrade version was still a shoe box so we sit and wait and wait. They have done nothing wrong, they can't refund our money, just wait. So we wait 3 hours and then finally get taken to a room that at least looks something like the room we had booked. Yes it did have a glass door with a balcony but the air con and fridge worked when they wanted to and we didn't have hot water in the morning of the 5 days we stayed there. STAY AWAY

centrally located

stayed here for a few days while in town which was highly recommended by a friend. centrally located in the heart of most of the places we wanted to see in HCM. plenty of restaurants and jewelry stores and ben thanh market is just across the street. we had city view room on the 3rd floor and we can barely hear the noise from the street at night. breakfast was free and it had a good selection.

Cafe - great little find

We visited The V Cafe based in the Avanti hotel. It was a lovely experience. The food and drinks were lovely. I had an egg coffee - traditional in Vietnam it was delicious. We also had spring rolls. The man there was very helpful and friendly. We were there from a cruise ship. Lovely city to visit.

AMAZING STAFF!! Wonderful hotel and super convenient downtown HCM city.

Some times when I read reviews on a hotel I have stayed at, I think, were we in the same hotel? I stayed here in June of last year 2023. To start with, the service is impeccable, from the check in process to checking out, you are greeted by smiles and welcoming attitudes. Ms Cẩm Hồng (in the picture) constantly smiling, did a great job to assist me and my friend check in process. She went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and her friendly demeanor truly made my experience memorable. One of the best stays, simply elevated our experience at Ho Chi Minh City. Explore local shops, eateries, right across the famous “Chợ Bến Thành Supermarket “, and walking street just by walking around. I have been to many hotel in HCM city, the breakfast here is very good. Great place with wonderful staff! The breakfast buffet had a large selection of Viet and American/European foods. Mr. Minh Sơn (Blue Ginger restaurant) was amazing, very friendly, attentive and super fast. Mr. Son is a good supervisor, his staff are very friendly and helpful, it reflect on his leadership. If they did not have something, it was made for you. Mr. Nguyễn Văn Lực (Bellman) was courteous and super helpful. Helped me my luggages and transportation whenever I needed. The location is superb. You are right across Bến Thành supermarket, so from the front of the hotel, just walk across the street, you will see all the shops and markets. 1 to 2 minute walk, Perfect!!! And finally the hotel itself provides a very relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this property, for single, couple, family, you all will be happy. Thank you for such a dedicate and caring staff member, Ms. Cẩm Hồng, Mr. Minh Sơn and Mr. Cao Anh Dũng (front desk supervisor for night shift), and Mr. Nguyễn Văn Lực (Bellman)
