Amazing Desert Resort Experience
This property is huge and there is so many activities that one can do while staying here. From the falcon show to stargazing, horseback riding and nature walk/drive, mountain picnic etc. As I had an early flight from Singapore, I arrived at the property really early in the morning, around 7.30AM. Kumari (Front Desk) helped me with the check-in process and she was really friendly. She took the time to explain about the activities offered and the restaurants. The experience staying here is priceless. The villas are beautiful with a huge private pool that overlook the desert. Definitely a worth taking amazing photos. The weather was perfect. The Rainforest treatment located beside the spa was really refreshing and relaxing. The buffet breakfast at Kaheela restaurant had plenty to offer. You can also arrange half-board or full-board meals during your stay. Al Wadi Desert also offers a shuttle to its sister property at Al Hamra Beach. It’s about 20 minutes and guests get to enjoy the beach over there. There’s just too many great things to talk about. Ras Al Khaimah is one of the 7 emirates in UAE, and I strongly recommend you staying in this property and Al Hamra Beach for an unforgettable experience. I would like to specially thank the General Manager, Mr. Amit Arora, and your team of wonderful ladies and gentlemen for making this stay an incredible one. Thank you to Arshad (Kaheela), Dickson (Concierge), Levy (Adventure Centre), Ibrahim (Guest Services) and Ayu (Spa) for all your kind help and outstanding service. First class to all of them!
When they first opened this hotel some 7-8 years ago it was fabulous It was run by the Banyan tree resorts Now Ritz Cartlon They have not renovated or improved anything The furniture worn out , old and shabby Worse is the customer service also went down Extra bed used to be the sofa now they have made it worse and worse It’s a shame this is a beautiful resort very serene and tranquil but IT NEEDS LOTS OF RENOVATION!
Visit at Ritz Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert
Really enjoyed the contrast to Dubai. Seeing both areas gives a great perspective on how rapidly development has taken place. Great hotel staff and very accommodating in every way. We had an excellent message from highly trained staff and received Excellent service from Ganesh with our room and assistance we needed. He has a great attitude of serving others which is what we felt all over the resort. Everett
Al Wadi Equestrian Club
The Al Wadi Equestrian Club is a beautiful stables situated in the Nature Reserve in Ras Al Khaimah at The Ritz. All the staff are truly wonderful and make my weekly riding experience amazing. My Guide Veer, is a great, experiences and wonderful with all the animals on the yard. The manager of the stables Joanne is great, very helpful, and also an excellent qualified instructor. All the animals are so well kept, and all the horses are very happy. This is one of the best stables I’ve visited in the Middle East.
Truly a 7 star hotel!
This is the 4th time in a few years that i stay at the Ritz Wadi which already says a lot about it. People have the conception that the best hotels are in Dubai and Abu Dhabi but this is where they are wrong, The Ritz Wadi is not only one of the best resorts you'll ever go to but it has a unique setting that no other place can give you in the Emirates. The hotel is only an hour away from Dubai and you're in the desert in between animals providing you a relaxed setting. I stayed there on a week end, last friday, which not only is the busiest day but you need to add on top of that the school holidays in the UAE as well as in Europe. The hotel lobby was very busy, we must have been 10 guests checking at the same but each one of us got to give his IDs and check-in minimising the waiting time while having our welcome drinks. This is where you see that the management of Mr Arora prepared it well as the full team as aware of the situation and worked perfectly together. I stayed in the tented villa which i would describe as being out of this world, the villa itself is beautiful, the setting is just perfect and i can't find more words to describe it. I sampled the newly refurbished Rainforest which was as good as it was under Banyan Tree, this is again a feature which i haven't seen in any other hotel... I had dinner at Moorish to try a new place, it was good but on a friday night i recommend the Kan Zaman buffet mainly because it's outdoors and you have a wonderful view as the stars were out on that day. Breakfast was as good as last time, it was pretty full at 8am and yet the service was impeccable and it was nice to be greeted by the GM and his team making sure all is ok. All in all, this is a 7 star hotel because it's unique in terms of location, setting and also service, all of these combined make a perfect hotel and it is one of them. At the moment i simply can't wait to book my 5th stay! Many thanks to all the staff, i don't remember names but every single one of you were great!
