Erinomainen palvelu. Hyvät tarjoilut jouluaaton juhlaillallisineen. Rentouttava spa käytössä. Kauniisti sisustetut tilat.
Hotellin ravintolat olivat muutoin aika hintavia. Aamiaisbuffet oli hyvä ja runsas. Hotelliketjuun kuuluva vesipuisto oli alakouluikäisille pojillemme yksi koko matkan kohokohtia. Suosittelen.
The Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a very beautiful hotel with an impressive entrance and lobby. Stayed here for 4 nights and arrived on my birthday (November 30). Check-in was swift and the refreshing drink and cold towel very welcome. We received a lovely upgrade and the view from the 4th floor overlooking the large pool was stunning. Upon arrival, the bed was decorated with HBD in rose petals and received a lovely box of chocolates. Special touches, so welcoming. Room was spacious with a large balcony, many chilling tranquil moments were spent here. The room had an incredible bathroom with the biggest bath I have ever seen in regular hotel room. Not a bath person but found this one very relaxing (despite the many liters of waters is needed to fill it 😱🙈) Room had all the comforts: coffee machine, free bottled water daily, paid minibar, bathrobes, slippers and lovely bathroom amenities. Daily cleaning and turndown service were done well. Like every hotel the little things that go wrong: no re-stocking of coffee, or coffee milk etc. Bed was extremely comfortable, the noises from the other guests not. Breakfast at the Imperium, comfortably seated outside. Unfortunately very chaotic at times so it took ages to receive the ordered coffee. Ajay at breakfast was a gem! The next day he automatically brought our coffee with a smile, brought my beloved fruit and made sure we were ok. Perhaps we were treated like this (the little extras) as we respected him? We were disgusted how other ‘Eastern’ European guests treated the always friendly and trying to please staff!! Shame on you!! Had dinner at the Rib Room (best grilled prawns I have ever eaten!), Imperium (buffet style) and Amala. Our favourite was definitely Amala, the Indian restaurant. Make sure you have a meal there! The Imperium has dishes for everyone and tasted very nice too but, again, we found the ((before mentioned) crowd unpleasant (touching food, finishing dishes, not waiting in line, being rude etc!!)). Pool is nice with plenty of loungers but unfortunately being ‘reserved’ early in the morning and although staff does keep an eye on it, it takes about 4 hours before towels are removed ....... Cooled water, cold towels and ice lollies are handed out. Although complimentary, we did not use the Spa. We spent UAE National day at the hotel and it was very organised and a pleasure to watch or attend. Emirati dancers, a huge cake and in the evening beautiful fire works (which we could watch from our lovey balcony!). A day later all the beautiful Christmas decorations and tree were put up. It seems my birthday was one endless sequence of festivities! Loved it! The JSZ is a stunning beautiful but large hotel and deserves the 5 stars I gave it. This is simply for the hotel, it’s staff and good quality of food. Unfortunately this hotel mainly attracts, to us, a wrong crowd. Such a pity, it deserves better. Another thing: if you don’t like kids (or noisy babies or non obedient kids/teens), I would recommend staying at another hotel too. Thank you Jumeirah Zabeel Saray for the lovely and special birthday stay 🤩
Probably the best hotel in the world
Where do we even start! Because we were among the last guests to leave the hotel as it closed due to the COVID 19 as Dubai went into Lockdown - we were absolutely amazed at how excellently all the staff carried out their work despite the difficulties they were facing. EVERY staff member that we met was exceptionally efficient, courteous and professional at all times. Rajool and Susith (please excuse the spelling!) from The Plaj deserve our utmost thanks for their kindness and for going out of their way to help us during our stay - and for "taking us under their wing". Deserving of special thanks are Luis (Concierge) Joaquin (The Plaj), Mary, Le, Tsewang, Deergha, Bandula,Ashok,Ajay, and Piyumi (all Sultan's Lounge), Juliano (Al Nafoorah) and every single member of the Front Desk staff and also the Housekeeping staff (we are sorry we have not kept your names!) You are ALL amazing people and THANK YOU ALL. We were delighted to have a chance meeting with Manuel (Executive Chef) and Hassan and Claire (Food and Beverage) and also a truly memorable meeting with Mr Mahmoud Sakr and by meeting you ALL it is clear to see why the JUMEIRAH ZABEEL SARAY THE PALM is such a thriving, vibrant success with every single staff member playing their part to perfection to make us feel at home, at ease and spoiled beyond belief- especially through a challenging time. You each carried on without missing a beat and showed true strength of character when faced with an unprecedented situation. Your professionalism and good humour kept us going as we awaited our repatriation flights home. This was our first stay at The Jumeirah Zabeel Saray The Palm but we certainly look forward to staying again soon when the world has returned to "normal". It was a much anticipated trip and we had researched it for over a year as it was to celebrate a "big birthday" and we were so looking forward to it - but unfortunately the spread of the Covid 19 Virus worldwide meant that our trip was not the celebration that we had planned, with two flights home cancelled without chance of re-scheduling, which meant that we ended up staying for a total of 17 nights instead of 9 nights as we awaited a repatriation flight home. But our stay at this hotel indeed made it a truly memorable trip. The Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel The Palm is certainly a five star hotel with five star staff - a masterclass in hospitality. Thank you all so much. Teddy & Nelly.
Our first visit to this hotel was when our son was 1. Returning when he was 7, we were unsure whether the high standards we remembered had been maintained. We need not have worried, other than a few issues the stay was most pleasant. We had booked a club room that included transfers. On arrival at the hotel we were met by a manager, warmly welcomed, provided with cool towels, drinks and check in took place in our room. We had been upgraded to a suite and it was stunning with lots of space, including a terrace with chairs and sun loungers. The standard of cleaning of our suite seemed to deteriorate as the days progressed but when raised with a housekeeping supervisor they were very responsive. Food options were varied and of a high standard except in the buffet restuarant. Amala was our favourite restuarant. We observed dress codes not being enforced with several guests in their pyjamas at breakfast. In my opinion this marks the rapid decline in hotel standards. We had access to the the club lounge and it was a wonderful haven to escape the crowds at breakfast in the main restuarant. We had a few negative experiences around management of allergies and poor food offerings. Resolution took time and resulted in complaints to senior managers as junior staff seemed unable to resolve our concerns. The kids club had not yet been constructed at our last visit and it was a souce of great excitement for our son. He spent many happy hours there, more to do with the video games there than the other varied activities on offer. The spa was just as I remembered, amazing and hubby was pleased with the gym facilities. We hired a speed boat for 30 minutes and we had an amazing time. All in all a satisfactory stay and this time we will not leave it 6 years before returning.
