Aina mahtava kokemus
Kaksikymmentä vuotta tullut täällä käytyä ja taso on pysynyt erinomaisena vuosien ajan. Miellyttävä henkilökunta, upeat juuri remontoidut huoneistot. Mukava käydä välillä snorklaamassa meressä allanuintien välissä. Suosittelemme.
Perhe ystävällinen kohde
Rauhallinen ja kiva kohde lapsiperheille. Kivat uima-altaat ja hyvin hoidettu, aurinkovarjojen varaus koko ajaksi hyvä systeemi. Ranta aika pieni mutta kiva lapsille. Henkilöille jotka etsivät rauhallista kohdetta.
Turvallinen lomakohde
Matkustimme ystävien kanssa häitä varten syyskuun lopussa 2013. Lomakohde on ihastustuttava.
Late summer holiday
Good time of year to visit as the weather is still very warm and sunny. All sun loungers are allocated so no fighting for a sun bed. I would suggest all inclusive as i found the main restaurant were a little walk away and when you cost it all out it no more expensive
A wonderful stay in Malama Beach Holiday Village
This complex has a location right on a little sandy cove, with beautiful views. That was what persuaded us to book this 4 star complex. We were not disappointed, we loved every moment of our 4 night stay at the end of October into November. The hotel was still quite busy. The temperature was around 25-26 degrees daily, with the sun setting by 5.45pm and the evenings a balmy 19-20 degrees. We loved our superior one bedroom apartment (room 1611). We had booked a garden view, but were so pleased to be allocated a pool/sea view on arrival. We had a large balcony, lovely living area with 2 sofa beds, which accommodated our two boys comfortably enough. Nice fully tiled bathroom with shower over bath, and a lovely separate bedroom, with a very comfortable bed. Great aircon and good wi-fi connection - but for some reason the Nintendo Switch just wouldn't connect, even though every other gadget did. Tip with older teenagers: I'd say the sofa beds are fine for sleeping up to 16 year olds, but any older, they might complain that they are not so comfortable (like my eldest, but we couldn't afford the 2 bedroom apartment!) For a short stay he was fine, but he would have been moaning 7 days in I think! We asked for a bath mat directly from reception, which was provided immediately. They provided washing up liquid/sponge/tea towel and the usual self catering crockery/cutlery - which was useful. Fridge was handy for storing drinks and snacks. Only one pillow each but that seems standard in most hotels. Beds were made up with just sheets, but there were nice quilts in the cupboard, which we used every night, as we preferred to turn the aircon off. Good quality sleep overall. Towels were changed daily. Bedding not changed in our 4 night stay, but that is usual. Balcony, patio set, hanging rack - ideal. The garden views are lovely, with beautiful plants all around. The grounds are peaceful and kept really clean. Cats dotted about the place - they are very well fed up by the restaurant! The complex felt very safe. We stayed on Half board basis, which was just right for us. We used the pool bar for light lunch time snacks, which were excellent and quite reasonably priced. The main buffet restaurant had a wonderful choice. The food was outstanding, catering for all nationalities - high quality Mediterranean cuisine, very fresh ingredients, with 2 live cooking stations with different feature meals each night. Kids and adults very well catered for. There was also a great dessert station with good choice and ice cream each night. The pools are great, but unheated, which is a shame. I'm sure they are fine in high season, but too chilly for end of October visit. The sea, however, was still around 22 degrees. Indoor heated pool as well in the spa area of the hotel. We visited it once, but my boys didn't like the heat of the pool - it was too warm! We were provided with free, fresh towels from the pool team every day, these could also be taken to the beach. So no need to pack your own bulky towels, which is great when you are flying budget airlines! All guests are allocated comfortable sun loungers for the duration of your stay. You get these allocated at the pool side kiosk - no need to get up early to reserve - perfect! The beach - a quick walk down from the pool area - was a sweet little cove dotted with sunbeds and umbrellas. An attendant collected the hire fee - not bad at Euro 2.50 per bed or umbrella for a full day. Space to sit on the sand if you don't want a bed. A public beach; the sea is shallow and warm, lovely for a swim or paddle. A highlight of our stay. May feel very busy in high season, as it is a narrow bay. Entertainment was low key, because of the time of year. We enjoyed the hotel's outdoor bar with some live entertainment most evenings until 10pm. There was a good games room for the kids with pin ball, pool table and ice hockey. Location: The complex is a little too far out of Protaras to walk. Quiet area of town - car hire, bus or taxi needed to get about. The hotel receptionist helped with all this info. We missed the buzz of a town at night, but the trade off was a lovely beach on our doorstep and a wonderful, safe complex! Handy supermarket/gift shop at the driveway entrance of complex - ideal for swim stuff, postcards etc. A larger, cheaper supermarket is a 5 minute stroll away, near an ice cream parlour. Some small local shops are also up around that area, which might be more busy in high season. We arranged an airport taxi transfer directly with the hotel - which went smoothly. We paid the hotel for the transfer at the end of our stay. The whole staff team were friendly, approachable and worked very hard. The complex was spotless. It was a wonderful holiday - I would love to stay again.
