Not so 4 start - could do few tweaks & attention to details.

Upon arrival, the guy who checked us in was efficient & informative. The two ladies served us most evenings in dinner service & breakfast occasionally was exceptional. Shame, I can’t really remember their names (I think one of them is Aggeliki). From day 1 until our last day, Aggeliki never let us down and exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and I liked our private balcony and good air conditioning. The food was tasty & affordable. It is a good place to stay, right on top of the harbour, so great if you want to hop on a boat trip. The breakfast buffet was a variety of selections even though most of the time, we attended 30 mins before closing time. The only let us down was the breakfast team - the waiters need to be more proactive and approachable. For instance, we ordered coffee and reminded them. Housekeeping - they clean the room every great day, although on one occasion, our room was the last one to clean and I was getting ready. I was drying my hair and they wanted to clean our room and told them to come back in a few minutes but they couldn’t wait because they were going home & their shift was about to finish so I had to let them in a while to finish drying my hair. The pool area is lovely and clean, although some parts of the hotel have been neglected and need a good cleanup.

Wonderful stay!

We had three rooms, all excellent and with a sea view. Best week ever. The hotel was clean and neat. The staff took such good care of us at every moment, and everybody was friendly and professional with the lovely addition of engaging in everyday conversations with the guests at their own desire. You get the total calm, relaxing serenity at the pool and the wonderful spa ( lovely staff and treatments there) and Vlychada beach is just a few meters away for a refreshing dip in the clear sea. If you prefer more activities and fuzz, Perissa beach is just a few kilometers away. The port is in front of the hotel and gives an entertaining show of dozens of catamarans returning in the evening, but also for a morning person, a walk down by the port is a peak into the everyday life of the fishermen preparing their boats and waving their good morning wishes. A few but good tavernas nearby, you can easily live there for a week and eat different, excellent real Greek meals for every dinner. Both tavernas up on the cliff, Dimitri’s and To Psaraki, were our go-to-places, and we left with happy faces and full tummies! A trip to Fira and Oia is recommended by us, very beautiful and the views are stunning! Best gyros ever at Obelix and Lucky’s by the way!! The crowd of tourists is big during the most busy seasons and it is a big relief to return to your serenity at Notos after that! Be sure to visit the beautiful small village of Emporio nearby if you want a nice authentic Greek atmosphere without the crowds! All in all, we recommend this hotel for a pleasant, luxurious but familiar vacation! Santorini is great and Notos therme&Spa is a real gem there. All of the pictures on their website match with reality and that’s why I don’t add any own.

The best holiday ever!

We had booked rooms for us and for our guests for wedding and staff members were amazing and helped us from the moment we were trying to accommodate our guests until we left. They are amazing to deal with big groups and we would recommend them to any family reunions or small weddings. Rooms are clean and spacious, all in Greek style with sea view. Even if you don’t request cleaning on some days, they will still leave you towels and toiletries without being asked. Breakfast is included, is a small buffet, but you’ll have all essentials and restaurant is operating until 9:30pm and they serve delicious food there. Waiters are so good, you’ll be looked after on a high level. As well restaurant is located on a terrace with lovely view to the port and sunsets. Have to mention that we had the best sunsets in Santorini from our room, even if we went to Thira and Oia and took a catamaran trip. For bookings you can contact them directly to get better value and you’ll be looked after. Maria was looking after our bookings and Giannis, the manager was very helpful! We don’t regret even a minute for booking our and our guests stay with Notos. Definitely we’ll be back some day.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Santorini

My wife did her homework and found this absolute gem. It's quiet, not a noisy tourist in sight. Well, maybe one Spanish lady who thought it was acceptable to shout into her mobile phone for an hour whilst lounging by the pool. But this was one hour during a 9 day stay. The staff were really lovely. Friendly and very helpful. Special thanks to Giorgos and to Maria. After our departure we realised that we were missing the constant but gentle sound of the sea lapping the nearby beach and port. It's sooooo relaxing. Slept like logs every night we were there. Breakfast was a delight, endless coffee and the croissants were so good that even our French friends gave them the 'thumbs up'. And they should know. This hotel is only half an hour from Oia but who'd want to stay there? The sunset is just as good in Vlichada and you can walk around without being jostled by selfie stick waving self entitled irritants. There are 4 tavernas within walking distance, a mini market and another beach (almost deserted) is a 17 minute walk from your room via the road, or 25 mins via the rocks. A perfect stay.

Panaromic view! What a Paradise!

We were delighted to be upgraded to a suite on first night. Rest of the 3 nights in junior suite were just as fantastic with panaromic sea views. Not only that, we could also see sunset every day. And sunrise from the road behind the hotel. Great thanks to friendly George & Cleopetra who helped us with taxi bookings & restaurant suggestions. I was hoping to have coffee& tea making in the room as it is a junior suite. However, only 2 bottles of drinking water was provided. The breakfast buffet was good. The hotel is very close to Vilchada beach. There are nice seafood restaurants near the hotel. And a mini market. Perfect way to hang around the hotel without going anywhere. The hotel is 20 mins by car from Fira. The taxi fare is rather expensive if you don't have a car. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
