Hyvä hotelli loistavalla sijainnilla. Allasalue suuri ja viihtyisä. Ruokailut erittäin hyvät ja valikoima vaihteleva. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hotellin vieressä paikallisliikenteen pysäkki, josta vartin välein linja-auto Rodoksen keskustaan.
Enjoyable last minute holiday
We enjoyed a last minute 14 night holiday at the Oceanis. The hotel had a few niggles but didn't ruin the holiday. Firstly the upgraded rooms are lovely with fantastic comfortable beds but there isn't enough storage space. There are a couple of draws, the small tables at the side of beds should have been draws, I lived out of suitcase for 2 weeks. Secondly the sunbeds are the most uncomfortable we've ever come across. Also not enough sunbeds, you had to get up early to beat the people who put towels out then didn't appear for hours.(selfish people). Was a pain crossing the busy road if you are sat on the beach and need a drink. Beach was full of cigarette stumps.(again selfish people ) to lazy to find a bin. The positives the food was very good and the hotel spotless. The staff in the restaurant where marvellous cosidering the awful time we are going through. Cocktails in the alinclusive poor. The hotel is on a busy main road but a bus stop outside took you into Rhodes town. The digital safe in the rooms are free and so is the WiFi. Also pool towels are provided if you pay a 10€ refundable deposit. We would recommend this hotel if you want to get out and about but beach disappointing. Would we return. Yes especially if we got a good deal.
Great Staff & very clean
We stayed for 10 nights recently after 2 other holidays had to be cancelled due to Covid so we were very happy to get a holiday. The sun shone and Covid rules were excellent at the hotel but there were just too many people with not enough sun beds it was impossible to get one after 9:00am around both pools or on the beach. I honestly thought the days of fighting to get towels on sun beds were over & we spent most days at other locations with better beach facilities. The same applied for the evening entertainment, if you weren’t there very early there wasn’t much chance to sit down and watch the shows. All inclusive drinks were watered down (we are ex publicans & know our stuff) the inclusive cocktails were horrible, too sweet with very little alcohol. Stick with the draft beer or wines, though I found the red undrinkable, white was the best choice. Food was okay, lots of choice but it’s a Buffett and the food was often not very hot and all just okay. Other guests seem to struggle to wear face masks, restaurant managed this very well ensuring everyone entering complied but elsewhere no one seemed to bother. Also the pools both need repairs done to the floor with paint coming away.
We recently spent an excellent week (10-17 Oct) at the Oceanis Hotel. The hotel was very well prepared to deal with the Covid situation. ALL the staff worked tirelessly to ensure the hotel was clean and that our holiday experience was a good one. The staff were efficient,hardworking and friendly. Although meal times were different, under difficult conditions the staff always served the food with a smile on their face. Well done to the staff and of course the management team who briefed them!
Myself & my gf visited 10th -17th October. On arrival is was very busy checking in , it was 11.15pm and we were given our AI band. The AI deal finishes at 11.30pm after that you need to buy your drinks. We stayed on the 3rd floor , facing the quiet pool / spa area which was great for a quiet room we loved it. If you prefer having something to watch I would say pay extra for a seaview room , although beware some seaview rooms lookover the roof of the restuarant area and not the typical "romantic" idea of the seaview. Our room was cleaned every day, towels changed etc Excellent experience with the food services as it was served to you by the staff , you just told them / pointed to what you wanted, very speedy service, excellent choices. I must add that I only ate veg based dishes the whole week and always had a great choice. My gf really enjoyed the various meat dishes. Drinks were as expected with AI option , I struggled with the lager & vodka but I did not expect premium brands so if like myself you like branded drinks be prepared to buy or drink outwith the hotel. Sunbeds- one simple rule- to get them each day it was a 07.30 alarm as they were in demand and hotel capacity was far exceeding beds available. Spa- my gf had the €35 shea butter 50min deep massage & facial and highly rated it! 5***** other people we met who booked it all agreed. Lastly, there was a member of staff who in our opinion went above & beyond every single day.Sadly I dont have his name to hand but he was the door greeter on the restuarant every morning & lunchtime and he was more based just inside the door at dinner time. He was extremely welcoming, helped find us a table every single visit, we experienced both sitting outside/inside. He made everyone feel welcome, safe and you could see he really enjoyed his job. We both feel that without his welcome and experience within the restaurant it may have felt possibly different. He really needs to be praised for his endless customer service. I would like to also mention the night manager/porter who we liked to call " gorgeous" as his name sounded similiar so he used to laugh when we said it. What a loveky , calm, funny enjoyable person and really suited to his role. Myself & my gf would return to the hotel yes there are some negative points I have made but our positive experiences far outweigh them.
